PRAYER BULLETIN FOR NIGERIAN DELIVERANCE
(1ST TO 30TH September 2019)
DAY 1 Thanksgiving and Repentance. (Ps 66:18, 1Jh 1:8-10; 1Chr 7:14; Jonah 3:10).
1. Thank God for the followings:
For making this prayer programme a reality.
For enabling you to participate in this programme.
For all believers that have been interceding for this Country in place of prayer especially our spiritual fathers, Intercessors for Nigeria, CAN, PFN etc.
For all that will participate in this programme.
For all He endowed this country with.
Because He answers prayers and will answer our prayers.
2. Examine yourself critically, identify all your sins, confess them to God, ask for forgiveness, make up your mind to forsake them. (Ps 66:18-10, 1Jh 1:8-10, Ps 139:23-24).
3. Ask for the grace to live above sin (Rom 6:14, Tit 2:11-12).
4. Ask for spiritual understanding and forgiveness of sin for everyone participating in this programme. Plead the blood of Jesus for our cleansing.
5. O Lord God, we need your intervention in all affairs of our country Nigeria, arise and help us. All human efforts have failed, in your mercy, help us IJN. (Ps 121:1).
6. Lord, grant me strength and grace to intercede for my country these 30 days IJN. Enable me to pray this month more than I have ever prayed before IJN.
7. I declare that in the name of Jesus, this September 2019, God will deliver Nigeria and her citizens from the hands of wicked spirits and ungodly people (Job 22:28).
8. I declare that by the time things will be okay in Nigeria, no member of my family will be missing. I declare that this prayer programme will be for my spiritual growth, promotion and miraculous blessings IJN.
DAY 2 Repentance on behalf of the Church of God in Nigeria. (Rev 1 – 2).
1. Father, we thank you for the body of Christ in Nigeria. We thank you for the existence of CAN (CSN, CCN, CPFN/PFN, OAIC, EKWA/TEKAN).
2. We thank you for every Church denomination and Ministry. Thank you for the perfect sacrifice you made for us on the cross.
3. Thank you for every believer in this country, thank you for the great love that entitles us to be called children of God. Thank you for all the privileges we have in Christ. Thank you because you have ears and answer prayers.
4. Father, we confess our terrible shortcomings. In diverse ways, we members of your Church have sinned against you but Lord we ask that you forgive us our sins IJN. (Confess these and all our sins known to you) on behalf of the Church:
Departure from the message of the cross and laying emphasis on money, wealth and other worldly possessions more than heaven.
We sometimes preach messages that retain sinners in their sins. We hardly speak against unclean acquisition of wealth. We ask people to make outrageous financial donations to Church, not minding how they got their money.
Lack of concern for brethren going through persecution.
Forming alliances with enemies of the gospel in worldly pursuit.
Pride of life: Interest in gathering multitudes rather than producing saints; serious fights over ministerial posts.
Stealing, lies, betrayals, conspiracy and other evils between brethren.
Failure to represent Christ as lights in the midst of the darkness of Nigeria. Christians are no more as trustworthy as believers of old were.
Insensitivity to developments that threaten Christian faith in our country.
Unwillingness to speak against evil practices of our leaders.
We permit envy & criticise our brethren, even when they are in the will of God.
We permit pride, adjudging our denomination to be better than all others.
Allowing denominational differences to separate us. Each denomination prefers to stand alone. Unless we are pushed to the wall as we are now, we neither plan to act nor pray together.
Lack of discipline among Church workers and Leaders.
Many Church leaders have gone astray, going into ungodly practices. They offer strange and occult fire on their Church altar. Forgive and restore them O Lord.
5. Father, forgive us every sin by which we have made you angry IJN.
6. Grant unto your Church a true and deep repentance IJN. Let there be revival of the gospel of Christ in Nigeria IJN.
7. In the name of Jesus, from now, Churches in Nigeria will start contending for the faith which was once and altogether delivered to the Saints IJN.
8. The Church of Christ in Nigeria will preach to bring about glorious attitudinal changes in the lives of all inhabitants of this Country and other nations IJN. Lord, we will not disappoint you again. Holy Spirit, reign in all ‘our’ Churches IJN.
9. We thank you Lord for answering our prayers in Jesus name.
DAY 3 We forgive all our Leaders, Father forgive us all. (Matt 6:14-15).
Introduction: In the past, we felt bad and bitter against some people because of the atrocities they committed against this nation. To succeed in this prayer we have to forgive them. From the depth of your heart, tell God that we forgive these categories of people for all past offences. Ask God to forgive them those past offences:
1. Leaders that misruled us, embezzled our money, impoverished our nation and oppress us in different ways. Father forgive them IJN.
2. Leaders that advance their ethnic groups over and above several other ethnic groups. O Lord, forgive them this great injustice IJN.
3. Leaders and various security personnel that collaborate with criminals (Armed robbers, Bandits, Murderous herders, terrorists etc). Lord forgive them IJN.
4. Leaders that are obviously partial in their administration of the Country. God forgive them this unrighteous act IJN.
5. Leaders that deceived us, contested elections but had evil plans to either steal the nation’s wealth or advance the wicked beliefs of their ethnic groups. Father, forgive all their past evils against this nation and our constitution IJN.
6. Forgive our ingratitude to you. You blessed us with abundant resources; instead to appreciate you, we have been killing ourselves.
7. Father, forgive our wastefulness and misuse of the resources you gave us. Instead to use them to develop Nigeria, we took them to private accounts in foreign nations.
8. Lord, we have filled this country with various sins and evils – violence, idolatry, murder, ritual killings, r**e, kidnapping, tribalism and religious intolerance; father, for the sake of our Lord Jesus and His Elects, forgive us these terrible sins in Jesus name.
9. I forgive everyone that has ever offended me (mention their names and forgive them from the depth of your heart), Lord forgive me my own sins IJN.
10. Thank you Lord for answering our prayers.
DAY 4 – DAY 24 Warfare Prayers ( Matt 18:18 – 20; Job 22:28; Lk 10:19, Rev 12:11).
1. Thank you Lord for the opportunity to stand before you today. Be exalted IJN.
2. I plead the blood of Jesus for the cleansing of my spirit, soul and body as well as all that are participating in this prayer programme IJN.
3. Thank you Lord for this is the month of deliverance for Nigeria. Nigeria shall be delivered from the hands of Satan, demons and their human Agents IJN.
4. In the name of Jesus, we bind the prince of darkness (Evil spirit) that had been ruling over the affairs of Nigeria. You prince of darkness, we overcome you by the blood of the Lamb and by the words of our testimony (Quote Lk 10:19; Matt 18:18). We paralyse you and render you impotent over the affairs of Nigeria IJN.
5. All demons waging war against Nigeria from the heavenlies, hear the word of the Lord, we are made to sit with Christ in the heavens of heavens, whatever we bind on earth would be bound in heaven; we overcome you by the blood of the Lamb, we declare you paralysed. Lose control over Nigeria IJN.
6. Every evil projection to planetary bodies, evil decrees, enchantments, divinations, occult works and sacrifices made to demons concerning Nigeria, you are cancelled by the blood of the Lamb IJN. You are deleted completely IJN.
7. The Sun, the Moon, the Stars and all that are in the first heaven, we cannot worship you, you were created to take instructions from us as you obeyed the instructions of Moses, Joshua, Elijah, Isaiah and other children of God. From now, the shining of the Sun over Nigeria will be healing to this country (Mal 4:2), the shining of the moon will speak peace upon Nigeria; Every creature of God including all that are in the heavenlies, work for the unity, progress, blessing and prosperity of Nigeria IJN.
8. We have authority from the Lord Jesus Christ, we come against all powers of darkness troubling Nigeria as a nation, we plead the blood of Jesus for your destruction, your potency expires, die completely IJN.
9. Evil altars raised to control Nigeria (in the 1st and second heaven, on the land under the ground and inside water), you are destroyed by Holy Ghost fire IJN.
10. I join my voice with those of my brethren, in the name of Jesus, I decree total failure of the plans, devices, intentions, desires and expectations of murderous men scattered over Nigeria (mention their groups if you know them) IJN.
11. I join my voice with that of other children of God and declare that the Lord God will speedily judge the sponsors and perpetrators of killings in Nigeria. O Lord God of heaven, silence them and let it become an history that You fought for us in Nigeria.
12. I decree total confusion in the camps of evil men that have plotted to rise and wage war against innocent citizens and inhabitants of Nigeria; It shall be to them as it was with the three nations that rose against Judah during the reign of Jehoshaphat IJN (Read 2 Chr. 20; be specific about who these wicked people are)
13. As Citizens of Nigeria, we come in the mighty name of Jesus, we reject and renounce all unjust agreements made by our past Leaders; and which are causing conflicts, wars and deaths in subsequent generations. We cancel those agreements by the blood of Jesus, they are cancelled IJN. We receive agreements that will make for unity, love, peace, brotherhood, equality, progress and prosperity IJN.
14. In the name of Jesus, we reject every unjust and unrighteous decrees made by our past leaders; they are cancelled by the blood of Jesus. We replace those laws with godly laws that will make for equity, justice, peace, progress and harmony IJN.
15. In the name of Jesus, we bind the spirit of violence and murder in Nigeria. We decree the annihilation of every human and religious endeavour demanding human blood and lives in Nigeria IJN (Pray with the understanding of Gen16:12 and Gal 4:30).
16. We uproot and destroy all evil establishments controlling the affairs of Nigeria (evil cabals). All authorities that were not established by God but that have been controlling the affairs of Nigeria to create suspicion & disharmony, you are destroyed IJN.
17. From the East to the West, from the North to the South, the peace of God will reign in Nigeria. We hand over the control of this Country to the Prince of peace IJN.
18. The gospel of Christ will grow and prevail in every part of Nigeria. We receive multitudes of converts to the Church of God in Nigeria.
19. Prophesy good things about Nigeria. Decree them into existence IJN.
20. Thank you Lord for answering our Prayers; for in Jesus name we have prayed.
DAY 25 – DAY 30. Enough is enough. (Jer 1:10, Job 22:28)
1. We decree the opening of the eye of understanding of all that worship false gods in Nigeria. Father, liberate such souls from the bo***ge of religion and let multitude of sinners turn to the Almighty God for salvation IJN.
2. O Lord, because continuous defilement of the land of Nigeria will bring judgement upon the entire nation (Lev 18: 1-27), we ask for swift judgement on any person or group of people who plan to defile Nigeria with human blood. From today, as many as plan to attack and destroy, subjugate or eliminate other people or tribes, let their plot return upon their own heads (Pr 26:27), decimate them continually in Nigeria.
3. In the name of Jesus, o you land of Nigeria, from this moment, reject and vomit those that want to fill you with violence and bloodshed IJN (Lev 18:28).
4. O Lord God, give to Nigeria faithful, brave and intelligent security Chiefs that will operate in the fear of God and make for adequate security in all parts of Nigeria.
5. We have forgiven all politicians and security personnel that previously connived with criminals in Nigeria but from today any politician, leader or security personnel that attempts to collaborate with or sponsor murderers, terrorists and other destroyers of life is cursed. Let the sorrow and anguish they intend to permit reign in their homes. We ask for frightening judgement against all these destroyers of life IJN.
6. In the name of Jesus, we break and destroy every evil institution, establishments and groups imposing leaders on Nigeria; such evil groups, break into pieces IJN.
7. Nigeria, evil men shall no more rule over you. From today, you seat of the government of Nigeria, reject evil-minded men, reject corrupt politicians, reject whoever collaborates or intends to collaborate with criminals, reject enemies of peace, reject all that are not chosen by God to sit on you IJN.
8. O Lord, the great event that will bring about peace, progress, equity, justice, good security and prosperity in Nigeria, permit it quickly IJN.
9. We decree the sudden emergence of a new order in Nigeria. (Tell God the kind of Leaders we desire in Nigeria from now and from generation to generation).
10. We receive technological breakthrough, political stability, industrial revolution, new inventions and breakthrough in education sector for Nigeria IJN.
11. We decree and receive uninterrupted power supply for Nigeria IJN. O Lord remove all hindrances to uninterrupted power supply IJN.
12. From now, Nigerians shall be known for uprightness and righteousness in all parts of the world. We decree sudden glorious attitudinal changes IJN.
13. Nigeria, arise shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you (Isaiah 60:1). Nigeria, you are covered with the glory of God IJN.
14. I and the children that God has given me, we are for signs and wonders in Nigeria, we shall eat the good of the land. We shall prosper and excel in this country. I am blessed and highly favoured from generation to generation IJN.
