1. For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. According to alamoth. A song. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
ỌLỌRUN li àbo wa ati agbara, lọwọlọwọ iranlọwọ ni igba ipọnju. 2. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
Nitorina li awa kì yio bẹ̀ru, bi a tilẹ ṣi aiye ni idi, ti a si ṣi awọn oke nla nipò lọ si inu okun: 3. though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Selah
Bi omi rẹ̀ tilẹ nho ti o si nru, bi awọn òke nla tilẹ nmì nipa ọwọ bibì rẹ̀. 4. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.
Odò nla kan wà, ṣiṣan eyiti yio mu inu ilu Ọlọrun dùn, ibi mimọ́ agọ wọnni ti Ọga-ogo. 5. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.
Ọlọrun mbẹ li arin rẹ̀; a kì yio ṣi i ni idi: Ọlọrun yio ràn a lọwọ ni kutukutu owurọ. 6. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts.
Awọn keferi nbinu, awọn ilẹ ọba ṣidi: o fọhun rẹ̀, aiye yọ́. 7. The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
Oluwa awọn ọmọ-ogun wà pẹlu wa; Ọlọrun Jakobu li àbo wa. 8. Come and see the works of the LORD, the desolations he has brought on the earth.
Ẹ wá wò awọn iṣẹ Oluwa, iru ahoro ti o ṣe ni aiye. 9. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear, he burns the shields with fire.
O mu ọ̀tẹ tan de opin aiye; o ṣẹ́ ọrun, o si ke ọ̀kọ meji; o si fi kẹkẹ́ ogun jona. 10. 'Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.'
Ẹ duro jẹ, ki ẹ si mọ̀ pe emi li Ọlọrun, a o gbé mi ga ninu awọn keferi, a o gbé mi ga li aiye. 11. The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
