FAITH CONFESSION FOR OCTOBER 2 - 8 2022.
There was an excellent spirit found in Daniel. He was excelling in everything that he was doing.The excellent spirit was no one but the Holy spirit that is in me today. Therefore it can be said that an excellent is found in me. I can then say confidently that I cannot operate at any level less than that of excellence.

WORD OF HIS POWER DEVOTIONAL

WHAT PRAYER CAN DO
Memory verses: ..... The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man sublect to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that there be no rain, and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years six months and ne prayed again and heaven gave rain. - James 5:16-18

EXPOSITION
There are a lot of things that are very difficult or even impossible for a man but he loves to have them done. There are people who have adjusted to certain unpleasant situations because they don't know how to make it better or who can help them out of it.
But we have a God who answers prayers. Prayer is a way of talking to God to change negative situations around us. Prayer can make the most impossible to become possible. Through prayer we can turn our lives, community, or nation around. There are those who are good at complaining about unpleasant situations. But they cannot pray about it. Elijah prayered to make rain stop in his days when he saw that his people were not ready to quit idulatory, and God granted his request. Rain had to wait for him to pray again before it fell. He was practically in control. Jabez prayed about the negative situation in his life. God granted his request and he became the most honoured member of his family. Joshua prayed and his prayer affected the entire solar system. The list of this kind of testimony is endless
Why are you complaning about that negative situation when God gave you a month to pray. Talk to God about it in prayer. Don't blame God for your unpleasant life situation by asking 'Doesn't God know that I am passing through this situation? Jesus said, He knows but He still tells us to ask.
It is not every prayer points that we receive immediate answer to. There are some prayer points that the answer come to manifestation later. And it is beautiful at that time. When you don't see immediate result of your prayer, it doesn't mean that God doesn't answer. Don't be discouraged. GOD CERTAINLY ANSWERS PRAYERS. Many years ago I was passing through an unpleasant situation. I left home and went somewhere to engage God in a long prayer. It got to a stage I became tired and was thinking of stopping the prayer. But God opened my eyes and I saw a very big ear very close to my mouth listening to my prayer. I knew it is God's ear. I was encouraged to continue. Later, I started to see the manifestation of God's answer to the prayer. I want to tell you, I am still enjoying the result of that prayer till now.
What are you passing through? Is it finance, marriage, business, barrenness, life of your children, husband, wife, or any mountain. Our God has no impossibility. Pray to God. You will have testimony. -

PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord, help me to be prayerful.
2. Lord, let me have testimony concerning my poins of prayer.
3. Specifically telk God what you want him to do in your life.

Thank God I am a child of God. I have a mouth with which I can pray. God has promised to answer my prayers. He is not a lier. Therefore I am saying that my prayers are answered14 6 2022

DEVOTIONAL 11 6 2022
WORD OF HIS POWER DEVOTIONAL

YOU NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT

Memory Verse: And behold I send the Spirit of my father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem until ye be endued with power from on high. - Lk.24: 49.

EXPOSITION
We get born again with the help of the Holy Spirit. (1Cor. 12:3). But to be born again is different from been filled with Holy Spirit. The early believers were already saved before the experience of Acts. Chapter 2.. After salvation there is still another supernatural experience that is called being filled with the Holy Spirit. It was this experience that the disciples had in Acts. Chapter 2. It is always accompanied with speaking in tongues as we can throughout the Acts of the apostles. (Acts. 2, 10, 19 etc). If we have to be biblical we can say that whoever is filled with the Holy Spirit has to speak with tongues. The New Testament has no record of anybody filled with the Holy Spirit, but doesn't speak in tongues. Even though, whoever is filled with the Holy Spirit speaks in tongues, the tongue is not the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a divine person who has no physical body. We need to understand this. He is so important in a believer's life that without Him Christianity is not practicable.
Some of the benefits of being filled with the Holy Spirit include:
1. The Holy Spirit as our helper helps us in our prayer life. (Rom. 8:26)
2. He helps us to live righteously.(Peter, without the Holy Spirit denied Christ but was ready to die for Him after being filled with the Holy Spirit)
3. He helps us also to endure persecution.
One can receive the Holy Spirit by asking for Him in prayer, believing that he has Him and cooperate with Him in faith to speak with tongues. One can also receive Him through the laying on of hand by a Spirit filled person. He is very important in the life of a child of God. Therefore every child of God should desire Him.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord I desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit. As your child, Fill me Lord.
2.. Holy Spirit guide to live right throughout today.
3. Holy Spirit help me in my prayer life

FAITH CONFESSION
I am not alone. I have the Holy Spirit in me. He is my guide. I am therefore living right. I cannot fall into the trap of the devil.

TOPIC: SALVATION A MUST
Memory Verse: Jesus answered and said unto him, verily verily I say unto thee, except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. - Jn. 3:3.

EXPOSITION
A lot of people don't understand the ways of God as God said, in Is. 55:8 that His thoughts are not our thoughts neither our ways are His ways. They think that they can please God by good character, philanthropy, or practicing one religion or the other. All these things cannot make a man to please God or secure the kingdom of God for anyone. All these things are good but they are not enough to meet with the God's required standard to please Him. This is the reason He gave Jesus to the world that people might be saved (Jn.3:16). Jesus is the only one who met God' s required standard of righteousness to please Him. He gave us Jesus as the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. For you to receive the forgiveness of sin and be made righteous before God, you have to receive Christ's righteousness. When you receive Jesus as your Lord by faith you have His righteousness. This is what is called salvation or being born again.
To be born again you have to take the following steps:
1. You have to acknowledge yourself a sinneer.
2. You have to believe in your heart thatJesus came to the world, suffered, crucified, died, buried and truly resurrected because of you.
3. Confess Jesus as your Lord. ( Rom. 10:9&10).
If you take all these steps and you are serious about them, I congratulate you, you are born again. It doesn't matter how you are feeling. Salvation is not by feeling but by grace through faith. (Eph. 2:8).

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord. I know that I am a sinner who is despiraly in need of salvation. I am not justifying myself. My sins are too numerous to be mentioned. Forgive me by your mercy.
2. I believe with my heart that Jesus came to the world to suffer, crucified, died and buried for me. He also was raised the third day for my justification.
3. Jesus I make you my Lord today. Write my name in your book of life.

FAITH CONFESSION
I have made Jesus my Lord. I have my name in His book of life. I am born again. I am a child of God. I am a candidate of heaven. I am not condemned but justified.I am rapturable. Hallelujah!

Today Children program was wonderful. Indeed our children are an heritage of the LORD
