*Ash Wednesday & Lent: A Time for Reflection and Renewal*

As we mark our foreheads with ashes on Ash Wednesday, we're reminded of our mortality and need for God's mercy. "Remember you are dust, and to dust you shall return" (Genesis 3:19). This humbling truth sets the tone for Lent, a 40-day journey of prayer, fasting, and self-examination.

During Lent, we reflect on Jesus' sacrifice and our own need for redemption. We seek to draw closer to God, to purify our hearts, and to live more fully for Him. As we fast and pray, we remember Jesus' words: "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4).

This season isn't just about giving up something, but about taking on a deeper commitment to love, serve, and follow Christ. As we journey through Lent, we look forward to the hope of Easter, celebrating Jesus' resurrection and our new life in Him.
