*SOMETHING TO LEARN FROM THE STORY OF ZACCHAEUS*
LUKE 19:1-10

What made Zacchaeus so joyous and intrigued about finding Jesus? He wasn't looking for Jesus to strengthen his own fame neither was he wasn't looking for Jesus for money.

He was joyous about finding Jesus because he found life himself.

There's a joy that comes with laying hold on this life.

God yearns for many to experience this joy, but this can only be, when men hear and believe the gospel. let's step out and make the gospel known.

HONORING THE WORD
‎
‎The word of God shouldn't be mixed up with the word of man. So also the word of men shouldn't be mixed up with the word of God.
‎
‎We must put God in his class with the understanding that God is superior to every other man.
‎
‎And so, We must place more relevance on God's word than the word or opinions of men.
‎
‎It is very sad and painful how we have reduced God to a piece of nothingness in our heart by placing more relevance on the word of men rather than His word.

Brethren, we need to repent!
‎
‎The proof that you honor God is judged by how much relevance you place on his word: how much do you honor his word?
‎
‎The major mistake we believers make today is that we place the word of men, the popular opinions of men above God's word. And that's why the word of God hasn't been working for us. The word seems ineffective.
‎
‎We must put the word of men, the popular opinions of men to where it belongs and then hold dearly to the word of God. It's not disrespect!
‎
‎Jesus showed us clearly that we ought to place relevance on the word of God than the word of men; " Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God"
‎
‎Brethren listen to me , The opinion of men will fail, but God's word will never fail. The scripture says " heaven and earth will pass but a dot in my word won't pass without being fulfilled"

More reasons relevancy must be placed His word than the word of ordinary men who are made of dust.
‎
‎Untill we begin to treasure God's word, it won't work for us. Until the word is hallowed, the word won't work for us.

You must value the word of God for the word of God to work for you.

*THE ONLY CUP THAT SATISFIES*

Someone said this and I believe it, because it's true. He said when God wanted to create the trees he spoke to the soil, when he wanted to create fishes, he spoke to the water, when he wanted to create man, he spoke to himself.

Trees cannot survive outside the soil, fishes cannot survive outside the water, likewise man cannot find his breath outside God.

Outside God, nothing else can satisfy man, no dwelling can be like his original dwelling_the presence of God.

Many have searched for the answer to their dissatisfaction here and there_from clubbing to drinking, academic achievements, accumulation of wealth and assets, s*x, relationship and so on and so forth but are yet to be truly satisfied.

Just like Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, "if you drink of this well (the well of clubbing, drinking, mundane achievements e.t.c) , you will thirst again but if you drink of the water that I'll give you, you will never thirst again". (John 4:13-14)

Many are thirsty out there, let's introduce Jesus to them, the cup that never runs dry!

A SKILLFUL WARRIOR

The enemy will war with your mind.

He will perpetually sow contrary thoughts so you don't stay in faith.

This is where you must guard your heart with ALL DILIGENCE, hence the hard work.

The ability not to allow your mind to stray from that which God has spoken to you despite contradictions from the enemy.

Have you asked yourself before how Abraham managed to stay in faith for such many years...the Bible says he STAGGERED NOT AT THE PROMISE OF GOD!

KAIIII

You must be strengthened enough to tame the noises and lies of the enemy around you holding on to your good reports through confessions and thanksgiving until you have your manifestation.

The enemy has no problem with you and neither on his watch list until you have a purposeful word released over your life.

The enemy will contend with your word and prophecies.

You must be a skilful warrior –for we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and words of our testimony.

Abound in praise and thanksgiving. Continually rejoice at the word of the Lord.
Don't be weary. Rather weary out the enemy by your consistent declarations, praise, and thanksgiving.

You have the victory.
