You're welcome to Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko. A citadel of learning where you are being built to face whichever inevitable challenges that will come your way.
Welcome to Akungba, a place that would make you learn thousands upon thousands of things you wouldn't forget in your lifetime. A place where you will be built naturally to cope with any situation you may find yourself. (soon, you'll understand better).
You can't but must accept the fact that it is not by your power or outstanding knowledge and high level of academic standard, or better still - that you have someone who helped you during the course of admission that secured your admission into AAUA. It is the grace of God. You will agree with us that there are many candidates out there who had better grade points but were unfortunately not admitted. Oh yes, even when you were almost losing hope, the light of the world threw unto you the light of hope. God said, " I will have mercy upon whom I will have mercy". That unmerited favour of God is what had granted you hope when you were yet hopeless.
We want to congratulate you for being counted to be one of us in AAUA.
On campus, you will face so many challenges, oh! That's inevitable! You will have to make myriad of a choices. Choices that would affect you directly or indirectly, positively or negatively and they shall have either temporary or permanent effects. But then, you would want to agree with us that whichever choices and decisions you are going to make and take respectively, when God is allowed to influence them, you are sure to have Good Success. For His thoughts towards you are not of evil but of peace to give you an expected end. Simply let Him influence your decisions. All you have to do is to make that imperative decision to draw nigh to God and He promised to draw nigh to you in return (James 4:8).
Be not deceived however, it's not easy and not enough to decide this on campus due to the very enticing several worldly (perishing) things your eyes would also be opened up to. Nowadays, people don't believe it's possible to live a life above sin. But the Bible says that as many as received Jesus Christ, He gave the power (privilege) to be called the Sons of God (John 1:12). And whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin (1 John 3:9). So if you're God's son, whatever life of Holiness that Jesus was able to demonstrate while He was on the earth, you have the equal right to live it too.
Now, one of the choices you will have to make on campus is whether to attend a fellowship or not...and one of the decisions you will take is either to retain your good personality or to dispose it or to improve on the existing personality of yours. Campus life is superb, awesome! Everyone wants to enjoy it. But it's much more than that.
Do you know? The rest of your life depends on the kind of life you live on Campus. The best time to let God handle your future begins with that moment when you step on campus to begin the first semester in full.

Apart from your spiritual well-being, we are so concerned about your physical welfare. So we offer to help you get Accommodation, do your online registrations, tutorials are also available for you. And also to make you know more about AAUA.
Also, for those who have interest in music, you have the opportunity to learn any classical instrument of your choice. These include; The keyboard , the brass instruments such as Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone & French Horn. String instruments such as Violin, Viola & Cello. Woodwind instruments such as Flute & Clarinet. Come and enjoy all these for FREE! We assure you that by God's Grace, you will enjoy your stay on Campus to the fullest.
