My own opinion on religion in Nigeria

THE CHURCH PROPERTY

Church is not a property for your children to inherit. The next church leader doesn't have to be your child or someone loyal to you but the person God wants to lead .

The moment you make the church a family property , you destroy the future of that church .

A leader is meant to raise disciples that will not make him or her INDESPENSABLE. I mean, church service can move on fine with or without you.

Some leaders have given their son a high position and Ordination so that after them , the son will take over . That's the system of the world inside the church today.

John and James wanted to seat beside Jesus in his kingdom but Jesus told them it's not in his power to decide who will seat in what position(Matthew 20:20-28)

Today, a church leader will anoint small boy of age 10years as a Senior prophet , who did he senior ? Now that boy will grow up to be "The most supreme Superintendent senior prophet at age 30" and you want him to be humble ? No. The position and Ordination won't allow him.

The church is God's property , don't make it family property. Listen to God to know who will take over next , don't start arranging Ordination for your family member to take over , you will destroy the future of the church .

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗘𝗧

Oh man of God, humble yourself.
Don't think there is none like you
Don't boast of your gifts , Anointing or results
Don't boast about your Rank and Position
Boast only in the Lord .

If people older than you or your parents kneel to greet you or talk with you, stand up and stop them. Lift them up immediately like Peter .

In Act 10:25-26, Cornelius Prostrate to greet Peter
He knew Peter was called and anointed
But Peter lift him up, and say no no , don't do this.
We are brethren . We are one . Humble soul.

Pastors, Apostles , prophets , leaders humble yourself . Don't fight over seat or staff or position.
Don't fight to claim seniority or claim to be superior. Fight the good fight of faith.

If members leave your church , don't say they can't make it again in life because they left you .
Leaving your ministry is not leaving God .

Don't be angry at your follower because they didn't tell you when they want to travel so you can check if they can go or not .

Never boast about your program , numbers of members , or how many years in ministry.
God himself fight a proud person . He gives grace to the humble .

Don't bring down other ministers to feel better
Don't destroy another man's image to look great
Honour others more than yourself .

Don't say you are greater than going to minister in a small church . You may say, how much will they give me? You may say, I will just send someone there , we are more than this kind invitation, what if God wants you to be there ? Humble yourself.

Dress simple .
Relate with others . Be friendly . Smile . Be kind .
Speak more about Jesus than yourself or gifts .

Don't make a Big chair for yourself and wife
Let your chairs be equal to other members
Don't dress to look bigger than others
Dress in very simple and humble way.

The night Jesus was arrested, they couldn't recognise him until Judas used kiss to identify him. Jesus was a simple leader . No big chair , no superior dressing that people can easily recognise the leader, no . He was just so humble.

When you meet people , don't start talking about your title , awards , achievement, first learn to listen to others and learn from them to know them better .

Humble yourself .

I HAVE FEW WORDS FOR MINISTERS

Not everyone will like you
Don't try to be liked by all
Let your priority be to please God

Don't be shocked if people leave your ministry. It's bound to happen .

Don't hate them for leaving .
It may be their time to leave.
Hold no grudges against them.

Don't fight to defend all rumours against you.
Don't try to always clear your name .

People will raise false allegations against you. Even people who had been close to you who should defend you behind you.

Remember, it's part of your journey.

Jesus didn't defend himself . He was silent in days of his trial.

Learn to remain silent in the face of false rumour until it's right time to speak

It is not everyone who believed in your ministry that will continue with you.

Some will find new ministry to join .

Some will support you for a while ,then move on to another ministry.

Don't rely on anyone as sponsors, let God be your source .

Let God use whoever he will to use . Don't beg people for support . They may use it against you in future .

Let God be your support

Whatever God send you to do, He will give the provision for the work He send you.

God will always give you the people you need for ministry.

Don't be tired .
Don't be depressed.

Be encouraged.

Sometimes , even your family members may not support you.

They may doubt your calling.
Until they start seeing the hand of God upon your life .

Don't be discouraged
Let God be your joy.

He will help you.
He will keep you.
Just don't depend on man
Put your trust in God .

If Jesus leave the gospel in your kind of people , the gospel would have gone into extinction.

Paul fought against wrong doctrines
Peter , Timothy, all the Apostles
Jesus warn us to be careful of false prophets

But you came with a "BE NICE MINISTRY"
A ministry that offends no one at all.

No bro, keep doing your thing.
It's not every work that have reward in heaven
Some are working for people to clap for them.
While some of us are working for heaven sake .

Our goal is different!

If you take a stand for the truth , don't back out!
Don't mind coward people !
Don't become a motivational speaker
Stand for the truth.
Correct in love and don't compromise the gospel.
MAY GOD HELP US .

Before you make a decision , listen to your wife. Don't just make a decision because your mother or father command you. Your parents can only advise you, not command you. Prioritize your wife before your mother for your home to be peaceful.

MY HUSBAND'S PHONE

"If you don't want to cry, don't touch your husband's phone at all. It's normal for men to cheat. They're born to Cheat"

The above counsel is not right for healthy Marriage.

If you can't check your husband phone , then that's not a good marriage.

Wait, I am not telling you to always be suspicious of your husband . But your husband shouldn't be angry if you hold His phone .

In a happy marriage, husband and wife can hold each others phone without trying to monitor one another .

When you're scared to touch your husband's phone , something is not right. If he claim that's his private property, he's married to you now , you both have access to each other private properties.

Trying to avoid issues by not touching your husband's phone is not a healthy marriage .

Adam and Eve were both Naked in the Garden of Eden and they were not Ashamed (Genesis 2) This is beyond Nudity, it's been open with each other and transparent.

When Husband and wife start to hide things from each other , like messages , money, properties, such marriage is not healthy marriage.
