TEXT: 1 SAMUEL 30 1－20
MESSAGE: In today’s message, I will like to continue talking about the danger in you mourning over situations God want you to move on from and I pray that the Lord open your eyes to see what he will reveal in Jesus name.
In out text, we saw how the Amalekites invaded a town and how David’s wives and children were taken away and also the families of his men who went with him.
David made a grate mistake which could have claimed his life by weeping over what he had lost instead of turning to God who knew the people who had done this terrible thing to his family.
He turned away fro the one who knows the strength and the weakness of the invaders and turned to his men who know how to do two things
1.to cry with him and
2.to stone him to death.
God was quite when David decided to mourn even when he had the solution to his challenges
Let me tell you what happens whenever you choose to mourn over your loss rather than turning to God to act:
1.God will step aside and let you have your way
2.God will not leave you alone, he will leave you with people who will mourn with you
3.People who had mourn with you will become hostile.
Brethen! Look around you today and observe people around you, are they mourners or men and women of faith?
The moment David realized his mistakes he turned to God and God gave him victory and he pursued, overtake and recover all.
Dear friend! All that was taken away from you are not lost if only you can stop mourning and turn to God, you will pursue, overtake and recover
David didn’t defeat these army by strength but because God planned their fall by making them get drunk and were therefore weakened by the wine they took. God have planned the fall of your enemies but if you wont turn to him, the victory will not be activated.

SUB TOPIC: ON THE ROAD TO EMAUS Part 1

TEXT: Luke 24 13-32
MESSAGE: The two disciples in today’s text is very good example of golden opportunity missed. Remember that these two disciples were returning to their homes in Emaus deeply sad because of the news of Jesus not found after he was killed few days ago by the authority of the land, and yet they travelled with him but could not recognize him.
Children of God, until we realize that sorrow, bitterness and sadness is another kind of veil that devil hides under to cover our eyes from seeing what God have done over things that have not gone well with us.
The disciples of Jesus! Were morning his death that they forget about his resurrection. As they mourn they kept on remembering that he had said that he was going to die, but they forgot that he said he was going to resurrect on the third day. No wonder Thomas didn’t believed he resurrected until he saw him face to face.
God knows what kind of terrible weapon mourning is and how it can bring down a strong man that he warned Prophet Samuel to stop mourning over king Saul “And the Lord said unto Samuel, how long will thou mourn for Saul.” God saw that Samuel was no more on the same page he was and he immediately cautioned him and told him to move on.
Since I was born, I have never seen or hear a dead man raised back to life by mourning. Since I gave my life to Christ, I have never seen a good man healed by the tears of his loved ones. For so many years, Hannah went to Shiloh to cry and nothing changed in her life until that very year she choose to pour her heart out to God and God changed her story. That sorrow and bitterness you allow in your heart will not change anything in your life, it will only make your eyes blur and if your eyes are blur, you will miss what God have for you.
The two disciples in our text today would have make use of the time they had with Jesus than they did, should they have recognize his presence earlier than they did. Dear friend, if you will not move on from that terrible thing that had happen to you in the past, then you wouldn’t know when Jesus will pass you by.

3.Lord Jesus! Please wipe away my tears, that I may see you when you come visiting

And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with the water and gave the lad drink. Genesis 21 19
TEXT: GENESIS 21 14-19
MESSAGE
Today, I will like us to consider why and how Hagar missed the well that was provided for her before her master sent her packing and almost lost her child in the process.
It is hard to believe that many children of God actually died of disease they have been healed from because they did not know that they have been healed of such diseases. Likewise, it is possible for the children of God to loose the battle that God had already won for them.
For the fact that the bible says that God opened Hagar's eye and she saw the well filled with water while she was holding and grieving over the bottle of water in her hands shows that she was blindfolded by an invisible veil which are ;
1.Grudge against Abraham
2.Grudge against Sarah
3.Grudge against Isaac.
Hagar, throughout her journey in the wilderness, she kept in her heart grudges against that man who made him a woman; the man that she carried her baby for nine good months who wouldn’t consider her pains and that of her baby but threw them out of his house into the way of wilderness with a bottle of water. She might have even cursed her not knowing that God had a covenant with Abraham that whosoever curse him is automatically cursed.
Hagar couldn’t believe that Sarah would turn her back at her after covering her shame by giving her a child. She couldn’t forget the pains she endure during child birth as she travelled in the wilderness. Hagar knew she was treated bad because of Isaac’s arrival. She wouldn’t have wished Isaac anything less than death, humanly speaking, she could have thought that the only way God can vindicate her was killing Isaac. Hagar travelled under these veils and she couldn’t see the well.
Children of God, unforgiveness, grudges, malice and anger can be the reason why you are missing the blessing promised. You cant hold people captive in your heart and receive what god is offering you because you are filled up already and god is not ready for competition.
You cant continue to see what evil or harm people have done to you and see the good God have made available. Hagar could see five things she didn’t need and missed one thing that matter most. She saw the wicked Abraham, ungrateful Sarah, disastrous Isaac, empty bottle and a dying baby, but couldn’t see a filled well. Anything you are seeing that is different from what God is showing is a kind of veil.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY

3.Lord Jesus, help me to forgive those am holding captive in my heart that I may see what you have for me.

MESSAGE
In today's text, we saw how Hagar almost lost her child because she had finished a bottle of water and there was no way she could get it filled to give to the lad even when God provided well yet she couldn’t see it.
The well had been dug before Abraham sent her and the boy away and Abraham knew that there was no way a bottle of water was going to serve them, not even in the way of the wilderness. Unknowingly to Hagar there was a well waiting for her in the wilderness.
Another thing I will like us to pay attention to is that, despite the fact that there were no precise road in the wilderness, god directed her path to that very place the well was located even though she couldn’t explain how she got there.
Brethren, until we grow in faith to the extent that we could trust god to have make provisions for our challenges that have not surfaced at all, we will end up like Hagar whom god had led to the well but was crying over a bottle of water and almost lost her child.
Your challenges are not new to God as they are to you are known to him and attended to by him. If you wont see your problem as they really are, but rather see them as they present themselves, you'll forever be a victim of them rather than claiming victory over them. When Sarah began to frustrate Hagar and her son and was pushing Abraham to send them packing, Abraham was reluctant in taking such decision until God approved that Hagar and the lad be sent away and wouldn’t stop them from doing such evil to the woman who had sometimes covered their shame when they needed her most should tell you that God sees what you are passing through right, hes only quiet and have allowed you to be chested on by whoever is doing such hing to you , either spiritually or physically because a well have been dug for you somewhere.
Hagar couldn't see the well, because there was a veil covering her face. Brethren, until that veil is removed you may continue to suffer the dept which have been paid for.

3.Lord jesus, I know you are aware of all my troubles, please open my eyes to see all provisions you have made for me to over come my challenges.

SUB TOPIC: A RAM CAUGHT IN THE THICKET
MEMORISE:
And Abraham lifted his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram and offered him up for a burnt sacrifice in the stead of his son. Genesis 22 13
TEXT: GENESIS 22 1-13
MESSAGE
In today's text, we saw how god tempted Abraham to sacrifice his only son and was willing and was almost killed the boy, before his eye were opened to see the ram caught in the thicket.
There are different types of veil in this scripture which I will like us to pay attention to.
The first veil Abraham has to remove was the pain of the past. What do I mean? The moment god told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, the first tat will come to mind was the number of years he had waited for the promise before god finally answered him, the veil of what people will say if they hear that he killed his son, the veil of how the wife will feel and the veil of how disappointed the child will feel when he carried out such act.
Many people would have been swimming in the blessing of the lord but the veil aforementioned stopped them from making it to a date with their maker just like Abraham later did.
Should Abraham have consider those fact above, he wouldn’t have left home at all, and if he hadn't left home, he wouldn't have met god at all “any reason that goes again st the instruction of God is not genuine”. that reason that make sense to people is a means to stop you from making it to that special date with God.
Another mysterious thing that happened in this scripture is how Abraham nearly killed Isaac even when the lord had made available a ram to die in his stead. There is every possibility that the ram has been there a day before, but Abraham didn’t see it until the lord opened his eyes.
Just as God wasn’t looking for a ram to give to Abraham but rather on the look out for the Abraham who will see the ram made available for him, so also God is on the looked out for the you who will see the provision made available for you. Mind you, this wouldn’t happen if the veil still remain

And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, surely the lord is in this place and I knew it not. Genesis 28 16
TEXT: GENESIS 28 1-17
MESSAGE
For the past three days we have been talking about how Jacob missed a meeting that was divinely arranged by god while he was fast asleep. Today I will like us to to quickly look at why Jacob couldn’t see what god have divinely arranged.
Jacob was running away from Isaac whom he had duped even though Isaac gave him his blessing before he left, but Jacob made a very terrible mistake by travelling with the guilt of the past and the fear of the future ahead of him. When Jacob got to the divine meeting point he had three loads with him, two were heavy while one was lighter than a cotton wool. The three loads were:
1.The guilt of the past
2.The fear of the future
3.The blessing of the father
Jacob got there with all these, but the first two were some kinds of veil covering his face and prevented him from seeing the God of his father. Jacob could not get over the fact that had been a bad person an at which led t him fleeing and ended up min a thick forest. The fear of the unknown future ahead of him, these and many mporeb were all going through his mind and he slept overt it.
These two made him forgot the pronouncement of his father on him. He couldn’t remember what the mother told him about an existing prophecy that Jacob I love and Esau I hate. The appearance of god in this particular place was orchestrated by the third load but the two loads were too heavy for him.
Can I ask you a question ?
How long are you going to carry the guilt of your past and the fear of your future? What do ou think they can offer you ?noyhing but pain and sorrow.
The biblke says in Matthew 1129 “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” will you those unnecessary loads now and take God’s yoke and give yourself rest that have been given.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

3.Father, deliver me from the guilt of the past covering my eye from seeing you.
4.Lord Jesus, I let go the fear of the future preventing me from seeing you.

TEXT: GENESIS 28 1-17
MESSAGE
Yesterday we observed how Jacob was arranged tom meet with the lord but got there and saw the as a place good for sleep and not to meet. Let me quickly talk to you about the mystery of a meeting place or divine meeting point, although this is a book am working on but let me give you a bit of it.
So many times it’s either a divine meeting point looks too low to be it or looks too big to be a meeting point. The woman who met Jesus by the well wouldn’t have known that she will ever meet the savior right there by the well but she did. This woman was a regular by this well but she was smart enough to perceive an irregularity in the man talking to her and she taped into it.
Many Christians are too familiar with their local church, with a tattered window, small congregation without musical instrument, and with a young pastor which is the reason why they missed the divine arrangement they’ve been waiting for.
Jacob saw a place manageable for sleeping that he got a stone for pillow which would have been good for an altar. Just like Jacob thought that place was too small to be a divine meeting point. You also may think that your small room small office small business point that growing church in your street is not good enough to be a divine meeting point am happy to announce to you that you’re covered with a veil that needs to be removed soonest.
Likewise a divine meeting point can look too big to be it, if you are still under that evil called veil. For example, so many Christians have been wired to believe that every mega church is an evil church, any man with expensive car is a ritualist not knowing that it is a divine arrangement. I am announcing to you as am inspired that that very place you are will produce products for you in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

3.Oh lord every divine meeting I have missed let them be restored today in Jesus name.
4.Father remove the veil of wrong believe system that’s causing me to miss my divine arrangement in Jesus name.
