*Good Morning Here's a Sermon for today last Thursday, March 27, 2025:*
*Topic*: *"Revocation of the Gift of God"*
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
*Bible Verse:*
➖➖➖➖➖
- *Romans 11:29*: "For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable."
*Sermon:*
➖➖➖➖➖
The Bible teaches that the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable. This means that once God has given us a gift or called us to a particular purpose, He will not take it back.
However, there are some conditions under which God may revoke His gift.
*For example:*
➖➖➖➖➖➖
- *Disobedience*: If we disobey God's commands and refuse to repent, He may revoke His gift (1 Samuel 15:22-23).
-
- *Pride and arrogance* : If we become proud and arrogant, thinking that we are the source of our gifts and abilities, God may revoke His gift (1 Corinthians 4:7).
-
- *Lack of stewardship*: If we fail to use our gifts and abilities responsibly, God may revoke His gift (Matthew 25:14-30).
*Bible Examples:*
- *King Saul*: King Saul was chosen by God to be the first king of Israel, but he disobeyed God's commands and was rejected by God (1 Samuel 15:22-23).
-
- *The talents*: In the parable of the talents, the servant who failed to use his talent responsibly had it taken away from him (Matthew 25:14-30).
*Prayer Points:*
Let's pray for:
- *Faithfulness and obedience*: Ask God to help you to be faithful and obedient to His commands.
-
- *Humility and stewardship*: Ask God to help you to remain humble and to use your gifts and abilities responsibly.
-
- *Wisdom and guidance*: Ask God to give you wisdom and guidance as you seek to use your gifts and abilities for His glory.
*Closing Prayer:*
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank you for the gifts and abilities you have given us. Help us to use them responsibly and to remain faithful and obedient to your commands.
May we never take your gifts for granted, but always seek to use them for your glory.
*We pray this in Jesus' Name, Amen.*...
*Remember Jesus Christ is coming very soon
