Just incase it's not clear, verse 19 does justice.

According to this passages, the old commandments, rules and promises have been discarded because they're weak and useless. Continuing in them would be one POURING NEW WINE IN OLD WINE SKIN.

Okay... In the book of Jude verses 22&23, we are instructed to reach out to the unsaved by 👇🏽👇🏽

Showing mercy toward those who have doubts, saving others by sn**ching them out of the fire; and to others show mercy mixed with fear, but hate their very clothes, stained by their sinful lusts.

This portion categories the unsaved into 3 groups and gives separate instructions on how to reach out to them. Let's identify the 3 groups in our present time and understand how to reach out to them.

TO GROUP #1, We are to show mercy (patience, love, tolerance, long suffering, humility).

TO GROUP #2, We are to sn**ch them out of the fire.

TO GROUP #3, We are to show mercy mixed with fear. While hating their cloths that've been stained by sinful lust.

Group #1 refers to people of other religion, they're a little stressful to get saved. Just as we believe they need to be saved, they also believe we need to be saved. They also have spiritual experiences and believes just like us. ONLY THROUGH LOVE, PATIENCE, LONG SUFFERING, BEING TOLERANT AND INTENTIONAL CAN WE GET THEM SAVED. Trust me, it is sometimes a painful process that can break relationships.

Group #2 refers to people that the devil has lead on a destructive or self destructive part and are about to be destroyed. For example, drug addicts whose case have become critical, people that doctors have given weeks or months to live, those that have been sentenced to death or life in prison, those that've joined Occultic groups, and so on... Getting those in Group #2 saved is the easiest of them all. They're usually, already seeking a way out of their dilemma. To get them saved, we only need to know what we are doing as adults in the Christian faith.

Group #3 Is the most difficult group. These are people that don't care about religion or spirituality. They believe religion is an ancient concept and not fit for these times. They call religious people fools, they think that pastors started churches as a last result after failing financially, they say boldly that they is no GOD. What makes Group #3 the most difficult is that while you're trying to get them saved, they're trying to get you unsaved. They are armed with points to argue you into submission if your not well rooted in Christianity. This is why we must add fear to mercy when dealing with them.

Example - If you're trying to save a womanizer, the more you stay with them the more you begin to get used to them flirting and the more they flirt in your presence. If you're not careful, you begin to lust after women as well. We therefore have to be merciful towards them but also watchful not get trapped in their web.

In conclusion, every Christian is given the work of reconciliation. Therefore, as you evangelize and try to get those around you saved, classify them accordingly and apply a befitting strategy.

9 Don’t ever sit with a married woman, and don’t indulge in wine with her, since your soul might be attracted to her and you might slip into destruction because of your passion.

10 Don’t abandon old friends, because newer ones are not their equals. New friends are like new wine; when wine ages, you will drink it with good cheer.

11 Don’t envy the good reputation of sinners, since you don’t know how sudden their end will be.

HEBREWS 10:10
Because Jesus Christ did what God wanted him to do, we are all purified from sin by the offering that he made of his own body ONCE AND FOR ALL.

Under the old covenant, animal sacrifice was done once a year by the high priest for the atonement of Israel's sin. This sacrifice meant that GOD overlooked the sins of the people for that year. (Leviticus 16)

It is therefore important for us as Christians to understand that Hebrews 10:10 is saying that GOD accepted the sacrifice of Jesus as atonement for our sins, NOT FOR ONE YEAR BUT FOREVER. Glory to GOD, there is now no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1)

In 35, we read that GOD said to Jeremiah " bring the members of the clan to a room in the and offer them some wine.

So, Jeremiah brought them to the room in the temple, he placed cups and bowls full of before them and said " have some wine"

Members of the Rechabite clan refused, saying, we do not drink wine or buy vineyard or build houses or farm the land because our ancestor said we should not, even our descendants.

They continued " we obey in totality and we as well as our wives, sons and daughters do not drink wine or farm the land or own houses. We live in tents.

Then GOD asked Jeremiah to say to the people of and " Why do you refuse to listen to me and obey my instructions? Jonadab's descendants have obeyed him and till this day do not drink wine but I have kept on speaking to you and you've not obeyed me

I continue to send you all my servants the prophets and they've told you to give up your evil ways and do what is right. They warn you not to worship and serve other gods but you would not listen. Now I will destroy you.

Concerning the Rechabites, GOD said "You've obeyed the instructions your ancestors Jonadab gave you so I the Lord, of Isreal promise that Jonadab will always have a male descendant to serve me"

Moral of the STORY #1
That evil act that you're finding it difficult to stop because you're deriving pleasure from it one way or the other but you console yourself by saying that GOD understands or that at the right time GOD will deliver you. A TIME IS COMING WHEN GOD HIMSELF WILL DESTROY YOU and before your ask if GOD is that wicked I'll answer you. If humans have the rights to destroy what they created, so does GOD.

GOD'S confidence in the descendants of Jonadab is based on their obidience to Jonadab. Therefore it is what you're doing now that GOD will use to decide if to engage you or not. You that say "when I have money I'll serve GOD well" You can stop wasting your time now.


As a child, if you do not obey your parents, forget about GOD. The only thing GOD can do is answer your parents prayer if they're praying for you to repent.


As a wife 👀 (ehen)if you're rebellious to your husband, (ehen) forget about GOD. (Hmmm) The GOD you're praying to is the same GOD that said submit to your husband and honour your parents. 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♂️

There is a man named in the but you won't hear about him in big churches where the pastors and their family members are moving around under the protection of the federal govt controlled arm forces.

Ezra was to travel from to to rebuild the of GOD and return all that looted. Fellow Isrealites who were interested in going back to their country were encouraged and mandated to receive every help they needed to make the trip.

Ezra had to lead over 60,000 people and travel with Nebuchadnezzar's loot which was 5000 gold and silver dishes, bows, pans used in the Tempe. He also got extra , , food items and other valuables from the king for the journey

There was no cloud by day or fire by night and security was a concern. What did Ezra do? Ezra 8:21 "I proclaimed a fast, so that we might humble ourselves before our and ask him for a safe journey for us and our children, with all our possessions."

But, It was the king that instructed him to go rebuild the temple and the king even returned what his predecessors looted so why didn't he simply ask the king for security? 🤔🤔

Ezra 8:22
I was ashamed to ask the king for and to protect us from enemies on the road, because we had told the king, "The gracious hand of our God is on everyone who looks to him, but his great anger is against all who forsake him."

So, all these that cannot move from one local govt to another without paying the govt to protect them or relying on govt to protect them or accepting govt protection who exactly is their role model or have the insecurity become too cumbersome for GOD to handle?

When our brother Suleiman was attacked by bandits, who saved him! GOD or Bullet proof car? those following him (including police officers) were in ordinary cars and some were killed, others injured. They ask you to pray to GOD for protection but they ask govt and install carnal weapons to protect themselves

Who is their role model? Definitely not Jesus who was always met by large crowds with men that wanted to kill HIM in their midst. Definitely not Apostle Paul who despite being told that he was walking into captivity walked boldly in obidience to the word of GOD.

Today's pastors will cancel an ongoing crusade that GOD himself asked then to hold because news of security threat is leaked, what a shame.

I pray that GOD will raise new breed of leaders for his church. Leaders that will be able to boldly say,
The Lord is my Shepard, The name of the Lord is a strong tower, The Lord has given his angels charge over me, The Lord is my defense and may all these leaders who love their lives and material possessions so much be relegated to the back seat, Amen.
