There are days when we are clouded
Everything just stops making sense
And all we see is a way not to move forward

A lot of times like this
We don't even communicate it
We still pretend that everything is fine
He tender for us as a shepherd does for his sheep

He teaches us God's word so we keep functioning
He makes us see the way we ought despite being clouded

He gets his knees heavy on our behalf
He stands in the place of prayer for us
His burdened heart pushes him to keep on labouring so we can keep on mattering in God's will
He never gives up on us even when we do

He's our Pastor
Our father
Our gift from God

Happy birthday to you sir
To you is decades serving God

As the church under your oversight grows to reach the world
And the labour showered on us will not be in vain
But forever, we keep on walking in the privilege of serving the Lord together.
