YOUR LIFE IS A WITNESS

Text:
Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 1:8

Every believer is called to be a witness. Evangelism flows naturally from a life transformed by Christ.

Light spreads naturally in darkness without effort. When Christ shines through us, others notice.

Look for opportunities to share Christ today—through conversation, compassion, or prayer.

Prayer:
Lord, make me bold and loving in sharing my faith. Use me to lead someone closer to You. Amen.

CONTINUE FAITHFULLY

Theme Scripture:
“Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.”
1 Timothy 4:16 (KJV)

Text: Galatians 6:9; Hebrews 10:36

Faithfulness requires endurance. The Christian journey is not a sprint but a lifelong walk with God.

Rain does not fall once and produce a harvest. Crops grow through steady watering. Spiritual growth also requires consistency.

Do not be discouraged by slow progress. Remain faithful in prayer, obedience, and service.

Prayer:
God, strengthen me to remain faithful. Help me trust You even when the journey feels difficult. Amen.

HOLD FIRM TO SOUND DOCTRINE

Theme Scripture:
“Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.”
1 Timothy 4:16 (KJV)

Text : 2 Timothy 3:16–17; Titus 1:9

Sound doctrine keeps believers rooted in truth and protected from deception. God’s Word equips us for every good work.

A compass keeps travelers on the right path even in unfamiliar territory. Scripture keeps believers aligned with God’s will.

Spend time reading and meditating on God’s Word today. Reject teachings that contradict biblical truth.

Prayer:
Lord, establish me firmly in Your Word. Give me discernment and understanding to walk in truth. Amen.

LIVE CHRIST'S LIVE

Theme Scripture:
“Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.”
1 Timothy 4:16 (KJV)

Text:
Matthew 5:16; James 1:22

Christian faith is meant to be visible. The gospel is not only spoken; it is demonstrated through obedience, love, and integrity.

A signpost does not point to itself but directs travelers to their destination. Our lives should point others to Christ, not to ourselves.

Let your actions today reflect Christ. Choose kindness, honesty, and humility in every interaction.

Prayer:
Father, help my life reflect the light of Christ. May my actions draw others closer to You today. Amen.

NUGGETS OF WISDOM
_The Escape Route From Your Mystery_

This is a 6-day devotional written to inspire deeper commitment to Christ, careful Christian living, sound biblical belief, and an evangelistic lifestyle to prepare us for the coming New Year - 2026. Each day invites reflection, action, and prayer, calling us to live in a way that draws others to salvation.

DAY 1

Topic:
WATCH YOUR HEART CAREFULLY

Theme Scripture:
“Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.”
1 Timothy 4:16 (KJV)

Text:
Proverbs 4:23; Psalm 139:23–24

In our theme scripture, Paul begins with the inner life because the heart directs the course of life. God desires truth in our inward parts. Before we can influence others for Christ, our own hearts must be surrendered to Him.

A well must be clean for water to be drinkable. If the source is polluted, everyone who drinks suffers. Likewise, our spiritual source must remain pure.

Ask God to examine your heart today. Confess anything that hinders your walk with Him and invite the Holy Spirit to renew you.

Prayer :
Lord, search my heart and cleanse me. Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Use my life for Your glory. Amen.

THE GODLY AND UNGODLY

"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful."
Psalms 1:1

Text: Psalms 1:1-6

PSALM 1 contrasts the only two kinds of people recognized by God, each with a distinct set of life principles:

1. The Godly.
Are characterized by righteousness, love, obedience to God's word, and separation from fellowship with the world (vv. 1-2);

2. The Ungodly.
Represent the ways and counsel of the world, who do not abide in God's word, and who consequently have no part in the assembly of God's people (vv. 4-5).

True believers can be distinguished by the things they do not do, the places they do not go, and the company they do not Keep. No person can experience God's blessing without turning from those things that are harmful or destructive to the image of God.

The godly person is known and blessed by God, but the ungodly person has no part in God's kingdom (1 Cor. 6:9) and will perish (v. 6). The separation between these two kinds of people will exist throughout redemptive history and on into eternity.

By now, I am sure you know where you belong. If you know you are not on the side of the Lord, here is another opportunity to come to Him. You must surrender your life to Him, confess your sins, ask Him to forgive you all your sins and be your Lord and Saviour from today.

Have a blessed Week.

GOD CAN TURN YOUR SITUATION AROUND FOR GOOD

"When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream."
Psalms 126:1

Text: Psalms 126:1-6

This is a technical phrase that means, "When the Lord restored the prosperity of Zion" ( Job 42:10). This restoration took place partially in 701 B.C. when Sennacherib's threat to take Jerusalem was turned back in fulfillment of prophecy, and the surrounding nations sent presents to Hezekiah (2 Chr. 32:22-23). It was fulfilled in even greater measure when the Jews returned to Jerusalem from the Babylonian captivity in 538-537 B.C.

Now the restoration was perfectly made available for all that are truly willing and ready on the cross of calvary by Jesus Christ when He said "it is finished".

What is the situation you are passing through now that seems the end has come? God can turn it into the best. As a believer in Christ, just believe in the Lord as the psalmist did. And if you have not given your life to Christ, please do today, because this is the first step you must take as He commanded that "Ye must be born again.". Surely, the Lord will come and save you as you come to Him today.

Have a blessed Sunday Service Worship.

GOD HAS NOT FORSAKEN YOU, ONLY COME TO HIM

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
Matthew 11:28

God created every creature for His pleasure and He doesn't have interest in evil pleasure at all. And for man, before his creation, God has made everything ready. There is no accident in what God does and there is nothing that exists without His knowledge.

He, who has created you has special purpose for you and before this purpose can be revealed, you must come unto Him as He has commanded in the text above. Coming to God simply means to see Him as the only one who is able to save you out of all the troubles of life and give you rest now and eternally.

Jesus gracious invitation comes to all "that labour and are heavy laden" with the troubles of life and the sins of their own human nature. By coming to Jesus, becoming His servant, and obeying His direction, Jesus will free you from your insurmountable burdens and give you rest, peace, and His Holly Spirit to lead you through life.

What trials and cares you carry will be borne with His help and grace. The writer of the book of Hebrews in chapter 4 verse 16 said "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

The mercy, grace and help mentioned above is already made available for you, take a step of faith by confessing your sins, forsake them all and accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour this morning. Let Him alone carry your burden and rest shall be yours.

Have a restful Saturday.

ASSURANCE OF GOD'S SECURITY FOR HIS CHILDREN

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."
Psalms 91:1

Text: Psalms 91:1-16

If truly you are God's child, His protection is sure over your life. This psalm is for those who trust fully in God, it assures us that God will be our refuge and that we may seek His protection in times of spiritual and physical danger.

91:1
The Secret Place of the Most High.

This psalm offers security for the children of God, i.e., those who commit themselves to the will and protection of Almighty and daily seek to dwell in God's presence. The more fully we abide in Christ and His word, making Him our life and dwelling place, the fuller will be our peace and the greater our deliverance in times of danger (Ps. 17:8; Mat. 23:37; John 15:1-11).

91:1-2
The Most High.

The four names for God in this psalm describe different aspects of His protection:
(1) "Most High" shows Him to be greater than any threat we face (Gen. 14:19);
(2) "Almighty" emphasizes His power to confront and destroy every enemy (Ex. 6:3);
(3) "the LORD" assures us that His presence is always with us; and
(4) "my God" expresses the trutth that God has chosen to associate intimately with those who trust in Him.

91:10
There Shall no Evil Befall thee.

Nothing can happen to a faithful servant except by God's permission (vv. 7—10).
This truth does not mean that there will never be unpleasant or difficult times (Rom. 8:35—36), but that as long as, we make God our Lord and refuge, everything that happens to us will work out for good (Rcm. 8:28).

91:11
Shall Give His Angels Charge Over Thee.

God commissions angels to watch carefully over the lives and interests of the faithful.
(1) They take special note of all those who seek continually to dwell in the presence of God, and they guard the body, soul, and spirit of these believers.
(2) The protection includes all our ways. There is no limit as long as we walk in the shadow of the Almighty. They bear us up in our troubles (v. 12) and give us support as we face our spiritual enemies (Eph. 6:10—12; 1 Pet. 5:8; Mat. 18:10).

91:14
Because He Hath Set His Love Upon Me.

Here the Lord Himself addresses His faithful followers. Because they truly love Him, He Himself promises to come to their aid in times of trouble. The secret for receiving God's protective care is a heart that is intimately attached to the Lord in gratitude and affection. He knows who such believers are and He will be with them in trouble, hear their prayers, and give them lives full of His divine presence and provision (John 14:12-21; 15:1-10).

Have a blessed weekend.

GOD: OUR REFUGE AND STRENGTH.

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
Psalms 46:1

Text: Psalms 46:1-11

Although we all experience spiritual barrenness at times ( Ps. 44), this is not the norm, for God desires to be near His people with help and comfort. This psalm expresses trust and confidence in God during a time of instability and insecurity.

The power and ability to face the uncertainties and adversities of life are found in God. "Refuge" pictures a shelter from danger, indicating that God is our true security in the storms of life (Isaiah 4:5—6). "Strength" refers to His might when battling our foes (Psalms 21:8; Ex. 15:13) and includes His power that works in us (Col. 1:29) and enables us to overcome obstacles in life.

The end result is that He is "a very present help in trouble." God is available to His people and wants us to call upon Him for help in any time of need. (Heb. 4:16). He is sufficient for any situation and never leaves our side. Thus, we need not fear,

God's "river" is the continual flow of His grace, glory, and power in the midst of His faithful people (v. 11; Is. 8:6; Ezek. 47:1; Rev. 22:1). This pure life-giving river flows from God the Father (Jer. 2:13), God the Son (Zech, 13:1; John 4:14), and God the Holy spirit (John 7:38—39). It flows from the throne of God and constantly refreshes believers, both those on earth (John 7:38) and those in heaven (Rev. 22:1). The most significant blessing of this river is that it brings God into the midst of His people (v. 5): "The LORD of hosts is with us" (vv. 7,11).

Have a blessed Friday.

Topic:
THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY HIS FAITH

*Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith."
Habakkuk 2:4

Text: Romans 1:17; Gal. 3:11

It is "the just," i.e., the righteous, the believer in Christ Jesus who at the end will emerge victorious.

The righteous are contrasted with the proud and the ungodly, whose lives are not upright. The hearts of the righteous are turned to God, (being born again) and they desire to be His children, to have close fellowship with Him, and to obey His will.

The righteous must live in this world by faith in God, even when he/she so not know what tomorrow holds but only believe in the word and promises of God. Here "faith" means a steadfast trust in God that His ways are right, a personal loyalty to Him as Saviour and Lord, and a moral steadfastness to follow His ways. Paul develops this theme in Rom. 1:17 when he said "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith."

From faith to faith means "faith from start to finish." The righteous person continues to live by faith, even when being faced with the trials of life and in so doing grows from one level of maturity to another. In this way the believer progresses along the path of righteousness to live a nch spiritual life in Christ.

It is my prayer this early morning that our lives shall not be stagnant as believers in Christ. More grace to hold on to Him steadfastly shall be given to us in Jesus name.

Have a blessed Thursday.
