These photos were taken on Sunday morning, March 26, 2017.
On that particular morning, I was filled with apprehension as I prepared to attend the first Sunday service of the Worldshakers International Christian Centre.
Having officially departed RCCG in February 2017, following 22 years of service, including 14 years as a minister, I relocated to Ado Ekiti from Akure by the last weekend of February.
My wife remained in Akure, serving as principal of a private school, awaiting my signal to join me.
With unwavering faith, I arrived in Ado Ekiti, dedicating the entire month of March to prayer and fasting regarding the new work the Lord had entrusted to me.
Assuming responsibility for an interdenominational prayer meeting, previously coordinated by my ailing father, kept me fully engaged.
Our first service at WICC commenced with three attendees: myself, a sister, and her three-year-old son. We drew strength from Matthew 18:20, which states, 'For where two or three are gathered in my name, I will be there.'
Subsequent services saw varying attendance, but I utilized the solitude to deepen my connection with the Lord.
Upon my wife's relocation, our family attended the fourth service with joy.
The fifth service welcomed two additional brethren, marking the beginning of the church's growth.
By August of 2017, we were officially inaugurated and commissioned by my spiritual father. Since then, we have experienced continuous growth and achievements attributable solely to God's grace.
I seize this medium to offer encouragement to those who have received divine instruction or assignment.
