Jesus came to make sons
I am a son of God through Jesus Christ my Lord.
I am no longer a child, tossed to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and waving with every changing wind of doctrine,( the prey of) the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men (gamblers engaged) in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead
I have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again. I am not a slave to any man or spirit. I have received a spirit of adoption as a son by which I cry out Abba! Father!
I am possessed and being led by the Spirit of my Father. I have the right to call God, my Father and Jesus my Elder brother. And since I am a son, I am also an heir and joint heir with Christ Jesus. I live in the reality of my inheritance. I refuse to live a life of reward, slaves wait for reward, servants wait for reward from their masters. I am a son, an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ Jesus. I am who my Father says I am, I have what my Father says I have and I can do what my Father says I can do.
I have no plan, no agenda, no will of my own. My Father's will is my will, my Father's plan is my plan, my Father's agenda is my agenda. I am here on the earth to carry out the purpose of my Father, the purpose of Christ Jesus, the purpose of His kingdom. Let thy kingdom come Father, let thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
The Word of my Father is my truth and reality. I am one with the Word of God.

Galatians chapter 4 verse 1-7
Now I say, as long as the heir is a child, he does not differ at all from a slave although he is owner of everything,but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by the Father
So also we, while we were children, were held in bo***ge under the elemental things of the world. But when the fullness of time came, God sent forth His Son,born of a woman,born under the law, in order that He might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
And because you are sons,God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts,crying "Abba! Father!"

We need a revival of the revealing of the sons of God. Creation has been waiting for it enough of the earth being handled by children.

Where are the sons of God? The kings under the King of kings and the lords under the Lord of lords. The sons whose paramount purpose is to do their Father's will and to bring His kingdom to being on the earth as it is in heaven.
These are the people creation is waiting for and who creation will obey. Where are the sons whose hearts pants for the will of their Father, who are in Union with the agenda of the King their elder brother (Jesus)
What I see are children consumed by themselves, their needs, their agendas, their way, their will, their accomplishments, who twist the Father will to validate theirs. Galatians 4 vs1 says " as long as the heir is a child, he does not differ at all from a slave, although he is owner of everything.
This is what we are faced with in Nigeria. Nature will not answer children but sons. What we have are children in the pews, children on the pulpit, children everywhere, and nothing of eternal value gets done.
Where are the sons whose faith can move mountains and change events, sons that the devil can't stand or defeat. Sons arise take your place that is your right by inheritance and save Nigeria. God the Father has put this responsibility in your hands. Selah!

THE IDENTITY CRISIS cont...
From the several past post it is important to know ones identity. And we know what an identity is. The big question we must ask ourselves is : how do we know or discover our identity?
I have a Panasonic Flat screen TV that I bought some nine years ago. I bought it because I knew the brand and knew the brand was associated with excellence and for the nine years that I have had it, I have never serviced it, changed any part or done anything to improve or fix it. Panasonic has stayed true to its name. When I bought it however I saw a little manual that informed me of all the TV is able to do, the energy needed for it to work effectively and how to take care of it etc it is Panasonic that could tell me all about the TV because only Panasonic know what they factored into the TV. Only the manufacturer knows the identity and the capability of the TV.
With us we tend to get our identity from our parents, schools we went to, our professions, our cultural affiliations, our clubs and associations and even our churches. Based on my above illustration can we ever get it right? This is the dilemma, this is why so many of us are clueless or oblivious of our identity. The only person that can tell you who you are is your manufacturer. The person that made you. GOD HIMSELF. That is why your life starts when you meet God. He is the only one that knows what He factored inside when He was creating you. He alone knows who you are, He alone knows what you can do and He alone knows what you have and if you don't relate with Him you can never know and you end up living a life that is based on chance, luck, opportunities and never live a life of purpose, you will just be existing.
Jesus came to the earth with a purpose. God spoke about Him in Genesis 3 vs 15 He had to come as the seed of the woman to defeat the devil because it was the man ( also the seed of a woman) that failed thus man must get back his rights. Therefore the Word took the form of a man. Jesus came as our prototype to show us how we were to live and operate, He came to show us who we really are. The fathers of old spoke of Him, the law referred to Him, the prophets declared about Him. When He came into manifestation He lived for only 33 years and changed the course of history and change the existence of Man, came and rectified the failure of Adam, defeated the devil and gave us back our identity. Hallelujah!!!!!
However this is not automatic, you as an individual must accept what He has done on your behalf, receive it John 1 vs 9 - 14. Receiving what Jesus did gives us a new identity, we become the sons of God. Vs 12 says but to all who believe him, he gave the right to become children of God.
This is our identity. WE ARE THE SONS OF GOD !!!!!!!! Like Jesus is, with the same authority, the same life, etc our prototype.
We must now ask ourselves what does it mean to be a son of God? Who are we? But thank God our Father did not leave us stranded but like Panasonic manufacturer He also gave us a manual to read to find out who we are hallelujah. The Bible is our manufacturer manual, only in the pages of the bible can you discover who you really are. I don't go to the bible to get a good sermon to preach, or to study so I can say I know the Word, I go to the bible to find out who I am, what I have what I can do, who my Father is, about my kingdom, .....everything I am so I can live the life I have been created to live. Without this you have not started living no matter how old or how accomplished you think you are. Jesus is the door not a terminus. There is a life we are called to live, it is called eternal life, it is called glory, and Jesus gave us the icing on the cake: the Holy Spirit. John 14 vs 17, 26, John 15 vs 26, John 16 vs 13, 15 the author of the manual sent to live inside us to interpret the manual to us and help us live it hallelujah!!!!
We the sons of God are possessed by the Holy Spirit and are called to live the eternal life, the life of glory. Hallelujah!!
But does this look like the life you have been living? If no WHY?

IDENTITY CRISIS cont....
In my last post I ended by saying : Jesus came to address the identity crisis of man. The question we must ask is , how did man develop this crisis?
This happened in Genesis when God made man. Genesis 1 vs 26 - 28 shows us the make up of man and God's mandate for him. He was made in God's image and likeness with a mandate to rule over the earth. I like the way NLT version of the bible puts a potion of vs 28"... Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it......" God made man in His class, and gave him the mandate to rule the earth, thus making man the god the earth. God respected man's authority, notice he told man to tend the garden, Genesis 2 vs 7 and 19. He left man to name all the animals and creature of the earth. It was his responsibility, his office because he was in charge of the earth. However the devil in order to deceive man and make him loose everything he the devil made man doubt his identity and made him sin against God and ultimately died.
Remember God gave man an instruction not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in Genesis 2 vs 15 - 17, but what did the devil say to Eve in Genesis chapter 3 vs 1 -5 where I want us to focus on is vs 4 and 5. First he made her doubt the source of her identity, saying God is a liar, then made her doubt her identity..... Telling her God didn't want them to be like Him.... That's the key right there! But they were already like Him : they were made in His , image and likeness, they had His life in them which was what made them alive. They were rulers or gods of the earth as He is the God of the heavens and earth. They were already like Him. But they doubted their identity and disobeyed God and lost their identity, their place, their authority and became slaves of the devil. The devil took the place of man which is why he is referred to in 2 Corinthians 4 vs 4 as the god of this world and why when he was tempting Jesus he said he will give him all the kingdoms of the world if Jesus bows down and worship him, because it has been handed to him. And it is his to give to anyone he wills. Who handed it to him? Man did of course, when he disobeyed God. This is how and where man lost everything and this was where God also introduced His solution. Genesis 3 vs 15 the introduction of the seed of the woman that will strike the head of the devil. This is our Lord Jesus Christ who has come to take back man's identity and hand it back to him !!! Praise the Lord.
Jesus came to the earth as the second Adam 1 Corinthian 15 vs 45- 47 to destroy the works of Satan and reestablish man identity as the rightful monarch over the earth, the sons of God and representatives of their Father kingdom!!!! Hallelujah !!!! Do you know the funny thing? Satan also tried his old trick on Jesus. But hallelujah Jesus knew who He was, He knew His identity even at the age of twelve when Joseph went to Jerusalem for the Passover festival Luke 2 vs 41 - 50 Jesus knew at that age that God is His Father vs 49. When God wanted to validate Jesus after He was baptized by John the Baptist He validated Jesus identity when He said " this is my son in whom I am well pleased" God was saying this is who He is......MY SON . After that what did Satan do? he tempted Him. Luke 5 vs 1 - 13 and what was the emphasis of the temptation : if you are the son Of God......the same thing he did to Adam but this time he met the second Adam hallelujah who knew who He was. And he failed in his deceit
This is the devil's trump card and he is still using it. Jesus came to give us a new identity, the devil may not have been able to stop us from giving our lives to Jesus but one way or the other he has succeeded in making so many of us doubt our identity. This is ok for him because doubting our identity has made us ineffective, docile and victims of what life throws at us .
However the Lion of Judah has broken every yoke and has given us the victory again and again. As we begin to know and understand our identity the lion in us will arise, and we will begin to take up our place as the sons of the King that we are hallelujah ...........
