RAISING A TOTAL CHILD ~Rev. Mrs. Bisola Babaseyi

"Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion"

~The PLANT Model for Parenting~

P-Play with them: Bond with your children to build a lifetime relationship

L-Listen to them: Be attentive, give your children a listening ear! Hear them out so that you lead them on the right path.

A-Affirm them: Praise your children when they make efforts to thrive. Use the right word 'Excellent', 'Good Job', 'You're a Superstar', 'Wow'. When you complain always, you demoralize them.

N-Needs: You must meet their needs. Deposit in their EBA (Emotional Bank Account) using 5 LOVE LANGUAGES:
Affirmation *Gifts *Quality Time *Physical Touch (hugs) and *Acts of Service (help out).

T-Time: Spend time with them to teach them. Your children are far more important than your projects. Don't think they are a distraction to your work while on your PC, they are your real work!.
