Hear this revelation this Thursday morning;

The day David felt like giving up was the day closest to his kingship.

The day he lost everything was the day before God changed his story.

If David had quit that day, he would have missed the season God had prepared for him.

At the end of the General Audience this Wednesday, June 17, the Holy Father welcomed with joy the lusophon pilgrims, directing a private greeting to a group of priests from Portugal and to the Marist Brothers and Leigos of the Marist Province Brazil Central-South (PMBCS), about 20 people, who participate A formative pilgrimage through the places connected to the tradition of Saint Marcelino Champagnat, founder of the Marists, on a path to encounter God, with the history of Marist charisma and with the religious vocation itself.

These words were heard at today's general audience when Pope LEO XIV. summarized his recent apostolic trip to Spain. And exactly this look - attentive to the littlest ones - was also seen in St. Peter's Square, when the Holy Father leaned towards the child in his arms.

The motto of the journey was Jesus' words, "Alzad la mirada", "Lift up your eyes! ” The Pope invites them to perceive in people a desire for life, truth and fullness.

WEDNESDAY 8:00 AM PRAYER FOR A FINANCIAL MIRACLE

Scripture:

"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)

Heavenly Father,

As I begin this new day, I lift my heart to You with thanksgiving and faith. Thank You for the gift of life, for Your daily provision, and for Your faithfulness that never fails. You are Jehovah Jireh, my Provider, and I place all my financial concerns into Your loving hands.

Lord, You know every need I carry, every bill that must be paid, every responsibility resting upon my shoulders, and every burden that weighs upon my heart. Today, I choose to trust not in my own strength, but in Your unlimited power and provision.

Father, I ask You to bless the work of my hands. Open doors of opportunity that no one can shut. Let favor surround me wherever I go. Bring divine connections, new opportunities, and unexpected blessings into my life. Prosper the efforts I make and guide me toward wise decisions that will bring stability and growth.

Lord, remove every spirit of lack, stagnation, debt, and financial hardship. Break every obstacle preventing me from moving forward. Replace worry with peace, fear with faith, and uncertainty with confidence in Your promises.

Teach me to be a faithful steward of every blessing You entrust to me. Give me wisdom to manage resources wisely, generosity to help others, and gratitude for every provision You send.

Father, I pray not only for enough to survive but for enough to fulfill my responsibilities, support my family, assist those in need, and advance Your work. Let Your blessings overflow in my life so that I may become a channel of blessing to others.

Today I stand upon Your Word and believe that You are making a way where there seems to be no way. I trust that Your timing is perfect and that Your provision will arrive at the appointed time.

I declare that my source is not my job, my business, or any human being. My source is You, O Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth. Therefore, I will not fear, because You are able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that I ask or imagine.

Thank You, Father, for the financial breakthroughs You are preparing. Thank You for the doors You are opening. Thank You for the miracles that are on the way.

When you give alms, do not blow a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets to win the praise of others. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right is doing, so that your almsgiving may be secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.

When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that others may see them. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you. When you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites. WORD FOR THE DAY
TOPIC: YOUR LIFE IS A GIFT, NOT A RACE TO THE GRAVE; SLOW DOWN

If you die today, the people putting pressure on you will move on. They will cry. They will write beautiful tributes. They will say you were hardworking, dedicated, selfless, and irreplaceable. They will post your pictures, gather for your funeral, and speak of all the sacrifices you made. But eventually, they will return to their routines. Meetings will continue, deadlines will still be met, and celebrations will still be held. The world, as painful as it sounds, will keep spinning. This is not a depressing truth; it is a liberating one. It means you were never created to destroy yourself trying to meet everyone's expectations. You were never designed to carry burdens that crush your spirit, sacrifice your health to impress people, or abandon your own soul just to earn temporary applause from a world that quickly adjusts to your absence. Do your work with excellence, but do not worship productivity. Love people deeply, but do not surrender your identity to their approval. Be responsible, but remember that responsibility without rest becomes slavery. There is a difference between commitment and self-destruction. Rest is not laziness neither is sleep weakness. Saying, "I cannot do this right now," is not failure. Boundaries are not selfishness; they are wisdom. Even the strongest rivers have banks. Without limits, they flood and destroy what they were meant to nourish.

Choose peace before your body chooses it for you through exhaustion. Choose stillness before life forces it upon you through collapse. Eat the meal without guilt. Take the walk without apologizing. Laugh with those you love. Pray without rushing. Sit in silence. Watch the sunset. Read the book. Take the day off when necessary. Build a life that your soul can inhabit joyfully, not merely survive desperately. You do not have to prove your worth by how tired you are. The people who truly love you do not need your constant depletion; they need your presence. The world does not need another burnt-out version of you. It needs the whole, healthy, peaceful, and purposeful person you were created to become. So slow down when you need to. Breathe deeply. Release the unbearable pressure to be everything to everyone. Let go of the fear that the world will collapse if you pause. It won't. Your life is a gift, not a race to the grave. Protect it, nourish it, steward it wisely. Build your life at a pace your soul can survive. For me, success is meaningless if you lose yourself achieving it, and there is no victory in arriving at the top with an empty heart, a weary spirit, and a life you never had the time to truly live.

I say it again: Your life is a gift, not a race to the grave. Oga and madam, make una slow down. Take this life easy.

Your struggles are not because you didn't pray the right way, or because you didn't pray enough, or because you have weak faith or insufficient intercessors. It is because God is using you in ways that you may not understand now, but one day you will. One season Ruth was working in the field, the next she owned that field.
We serve a God who turns things around for our good. Trust Him.
