My name is Christopher Erhikevbe Ransome. From Ekpan, Uvwie L.G.A. in Delta state.
It’s a very long story but let me cut it short by starting this way.
I gave my life to Christ in Warri, Delta State in the year 2009 at a church near the Refinery, attended only by Youth Corpers.
The Pastor-in-Charge, (Emmanuel Ekoja) was a long-lost classmate from primary school years before in Jos, Plateau State.
I was baptized on October 25th, in a river beside the Nigerian Gas Company Ekpan (NGC), that same year.
Since then I had tried to be a Christian by only going to church Sunday to Sunday not knowing that was not enough and still living freely in the world.
Inside of me I knew something was not right but I didn’t know how to go about fixing it. I knew that I was on a quest for more of the Word of God but couldn’t get any answers until I met my wife and she introduced me to The Capital Assembly.
Here, I started hearing the pure and undiluted Word of God which got me very interested and I discovered I was getting changed from the inside and experiencing the kind of Inner peace that I had been searching for. I knew I was on the right track.
I continued to grow and re-dedicated my life to Christ.
I joined the Ushering Unit to serve and my joy grew larger as I discovered my interest, respect and love for the Things of God!
I was growing from strength to strength daily and mixing up with men and women dedicated to worshipping Yahweh.
I attended bible courses both in my church and in other bible believing churches (Living Faith Church) for more knowledge in The Word.
This made me happy and transformed me into a different person from The Christopher I used to know. The difference is clear!
My family and friends are always amazed seeing the new Christopher and can not keep mute but ask my wife what she did to me?
But the greatest moment in my life was in September, 2019, when I had a close shave with death, I was admitted into one hospital, I was seriously ill and was losing weight at an alarming rate. My blood sugar went up to almost 700mol/g! There on the bed, sitting beside me and praying was my wife.
I told God to give me a second chance to really serve and worship Him dedicatedly, I had never been this scared all my life! I thought it was over for me. I had never felt so light and empty before.
The Lord in His infinite Mercy spared my life, divinely healed me of all my disease and restored my relationship with Him!
Till this moment, it's just from one testimony to another, even in my family back there in Warri. It is a good thing to know The Lord, serve Him sincerely and the rewards can’t be better imagined.
I can tell you that I am no longer where I was but have been moved to higher levels by the Holy Spirit. Precept by precept, He is taking me there in Jesus Christ's name. Amen..
