The Importance of Identity

One of the greatest problems in life is living without identity. A man who does not know who he is will struggle with direction, purpose, decisions, and confidence. Identity shapes everything about a person. When identity is missing, confusion takes over.

Many people today are fighting battles they were never meant to fight simply because they do not understand who they are. They compare themselves with others, chase wrong goals, and settle for less because they have no awareness of their true identity. What should naturally work for them becomes difficult because they are disconnected from who they were created to be.

Identity gives a man stability. When a man knows who he is, he is not easily moved by opinions, pressure, or temporary challenges. He walks with confidence, clarity, and purpose. He knows what to accept and what to reject. He understands his values, assignment, and direction in life.

So how can a man discover his identity?

First, he must know God. A man cannot truly know himself outside the One who created him. Identity is discovered in the presence of God. Through prayer, studying the Word, and building a relationship with God, a man begins to understand his purpose and calling.

Second, he must spend time in self discovery. He should ask important questions: What are my strengths? What values define me? What burdens or passions has God placed in my heart? Self awareness is important for identity.

Third, he must avoid comparison. Comparison destroys identity. Every man has a unique assignment and journey. Trying to become someone else only leads to frustration.

Lastly, a man must live daily with the awareness of his identity. He should speak, walk, and make decisions based on who he knows he is. Identity is not just discovered once; it must be continually protected and developed.

A man who knows his identity cannot easily be manipulated by life. He lives with purpose, confidence, and direction.

My letter to my fellow Nigerians

Enough of the hashtags. Enough of the reposts. Enough of the “Pray for Nigeria” captions while innocent children are kidnapped, families are destroyed, and communities live in fear every single day.

Innocent school children have been taken, and like always, Nigerians flood social media with anger for a few days, then move on while the pain remains with the victims. How long will we continue to type our frustration instead of standing together to demand change?

Bandits are no longer hiding in forests alone. They are now bold enough to invade schools and take children. CHILDREN. And what are we doing? Posting flyers online and hoping someone else will fight for us.

This silence disguised as online activism is becoming dangerous.

A nation where citizens are too afraid to speak, too afraid to gather, too afraid to demand accountability, will continue to suffer in the hands of wicked people. The government must understand that Nigerians are tired. Tired of burying innocent people. Tired of insecurity. Tired of hearing the same promises while lives are wasted daily.

This is not the time to hide behind our phones. This is the time for peaceful action. Peaceful protests. Peaceful rallies. Peaceful unity. Because if we cannot stand up when children are being kidnapped, then what exactly are we waiting for?

Every Nigerian says, “I don’t want to die.” But people are already dying every day while the rest of us watch from our screens.

Nigeria belongs to all of us. And if we truly love this country, then it is time to rise beyond social media posts and demand a nation where children can go to school without fear.

Enough is enough.

The Spirit of God is calm and gentle. He does not force His way into a man’s life with confusion, pride, or noise. His presence brings peace to the troubled heart, rest to the weary soul, and direction to the confused mind.

In a world filled with pressure, anger, and chaos, the Spirit of God teaches us to respond with patience, wisdom, and love. A man led by God does not always need to shout to prove strength, because true power can also flow through quietness and self-control.

When the Spirit of God dwells in you, bitterness begins to fade, pride begins to break, and peace begins to grow. His gentle voice may be soft, but it is powerful enough to heal broken hearts, restore hope, and lead a man into truth.

Stay close to God. The calmer your spirit becomes, the clearer His voice will sound within you.

It's time we leave Social media posting and start taking physical actions.
But hear me Nigeria is now implicated.
One of the thing the provoke the anger of God on a people or generation is when children are being killed anyhow.
Watch out soon,

Reading is more than a habit it is a doorway to growth, wisdom, and transformation.
A man who reads never remains the same, because every book carries experiences, lessons, and knowledge that can shape his future.
Reading sharpens the mind, deepens understanding, improves communication, and opens your eyes to possibilities beyond your environment.
One good book can save you years of mistakes and inspire ideas that can change your life forever.
People who read consistently think differently, speak differently, and lead differently.
In a noisy world full of distractions, reading builds depth, discipline, and vision.
Never underestimate the power of a reading mind.
Today’s reader can become tomorrow’s leader.
