FRIDAY MAY 1ST, 2026

Topic: THE MERCY OF GOD

Scriptural Reference:
Lamentations 3:22–23 (KJV)
“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

The Creed:
The mercy of God is the divine intervention that overrides judgment, cancels what you deserve, and releases what you do not deserve. Mercy is God stepping into your situation, not because you qualified, but because He is compassionate.

Mercy speaks when your errors should have silenced you. It preserves you when consequences should have destroyed you. It is the reason you are still standing despite battles, mistakes, and unseen dangers.

The mercy of God is not weakness—it is power under control. It is God withholding wrath and extending grace. Where mercy is at work, protocols can be suspended, and verdicts can be overturned.
This means your life is not defined by your past failures, but by God’s compassion.

Mercy gives you another chance, another opportunity, and a fresh start. It rewrites your story and restores your dignity.
When mercy speaks, doors open that effort could not open. When mercy prevails, help comes from places you did not expect. It is mercy that exempts you from destruction and positions you for favor.

Today, understand this: you are a product of God’s mercy. What should have ended you has passed over you. What should have delayed you has been overturned. Mercy has been speaking on your behalf.

Declare it boldly:
The mercy of God speaks for me. I am not consumed because His compassion sustains me. Every judgment against my life is overturned by mercy. I receive help, favor, and restoration. My life is a testimony of God’s unfailing mercy.

Prayer Points:
1) Father, let Your mercy speak for me in every area of my life.

2) Lord, by Your mercy, cancel every judgment and negative verdict against me.

3) O God, let Your mercy open doors that no man can shut.

4) Father, let Your compassion restore everything I have lost.

Judgment is silenced,
And grace takes over.

Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

The Creed:
The government upon His shoulder speaks of divine authority, dominion, and absolute rulership. It is a declaration that Jesus Christ is not only Savior but King—One who carries the weight of all power, control, and governance.

This means the affairs of your life are not meant to be governed by fear, chaos, or the systems of darkness. When Christ rules, order replaces confusion, peace overrules anxiety, and righteousness establishes stability. His government is not partial—it is total.

The shoulder represents strength and responsibility. Jesus does not delegate your destiny to chance; He carries it with authority. Every burden you struggle with has already been placed under His government. The question is: have you surrendered control?
When His government rests upon your life, you no longer live at the mercy of circumstances. You operate under divine jurisdiction.

Sickness, failure, delay, and oppression cannot dominate where Christ reigns. His authority enforces alignment, and His rule guarantees preservation.

Today, understand this: the government is already on His shoulder—you are not meant to carry what He has already taken responsibility for. Your role is to yield, to submit, and to walk in obedience to His dominion.

Declare it boldly:
Christ reigns over my life. His government is established in my destiny. I do not live under confusion or oppression—I live under divine authority. Every area of my life aligns with His will. I walk in dominion, order, and peace.

Prayer Points:
1) Father, let Your government be fully established in every area of my life.

2) Lord Jesus, take absolute control over my decisions, my path, and my destiny.

3) Father, uproot every system of darkness contending with Your authority in my life.

4) O God, let Your peace and order reign in me as evidence of Your government.

When Christ carries the government—
You are no longer under pressure,
You are under authority.

The Creed:
The mind is a powerful gateway that shapes the direction of a man’s life. Your thoughts are not passive—they are creative forces that influence your words, actions, and ultimately your destiny. Positive thinking is not mere optimism; it is a deliberate alignment of your mind with God’s truth.

What you consistently think becomes what you eventually manifest. When your thoughts are filled with doubt, fear, and negativity, you unconsciously empower limitation. But when your mind is renewed with faith, hope, and possibility, you position yourself for supernatural outcomes.

Positive thinking is rooted in revelation, not denial. It does not ignore challenges—it confronts them with the assurance of God’s promises. It says, “Even if I don’t see it yet, I believe God is working.” This mindset activates resilience, strengthens faith, and fuels persistence.

The battlefield of life is first won or lost in the mind. Before victory appears outwardly, it is conceived inwardly. That is why Scripture emphasizes the renewal of the mind—because transformation begins from within.

Today, guard your thoughts intentionally. Reject every negative imagination that contradicts God’s Word. Fill your mind with truth, and let your thinking reflect heaven’s perspective. When your thoughts align with God, your life will follow.

Declare it boldly:
My mind is renewed by the Word of God. I think thoughts of faith, victory, and possibility. I reject negativity and embrace divine perspective. My thoughts produce life, progress, and supernatural results. I walk in clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Prayer Points:
1) Father, renew my mind daily and align my thoughts with Your truth.

2) Lord, deliver me from every negative mindset that limits my growth.

3) Father, help me to think thoughts that produce faith, hope, and victory.

4) O God, let my mind become a channel for divine ideas and transformation.

“And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.”

The Creed:
Spiritual victory does not exempt a man from confrontation; it often invites it. After seasons of fasting, prayer, and consecration, there is usually a moment of testing. The enemy does not fear your activity—he fears your transformation. That is why after the fast, the devil came.

Jesus fasted, yet He was tempted. This reveals a critical truth: fasting strengthens your spirit, but it also exposes you to higher-level warfare. The devil came not because Jesus was weak, but because He had become dangerous.

The timing of the enemy is strategic. He comes when the flesh is weak, when hunger is real, and when silence seems loud. But his mission remains the same—to challenge identity, to distort truth, and to provoke disobedience.

However, victory is not in avoiding the encounter, but in overcoming it. Jesus responded with the Word: “It is written.” This shows that what sustains you after fasting is not just discipline, but revelation. If your fast does not produce the Word in you, you may not withstand the voice against you.

Today, understand this: the appearance of the enemy after your fast is not a sign of failure—it is a confirmation of progress. Stand your ground.

Speak the Word. Refuse compromise. What comes after your fast is not defeat, but proof that you have shifted realms.

Declare it boldly:
After my fast, I stand strong. I overcome every temptation by the Word of God. The devil has no hold over me. I walk in victory, authority, and divine alignment. My consecration produces dominion.

Prayer Points:
1) Father, empower me to stand strong against every temptation after seasons of consecration.

2) Lord, fill my heart with Your Word so I can overcome every voice of the enemy.

3) Father, strengthen my spirit to remain aligned with Your will at all times.

4) O God, turn every post-fast battle into a testimony of victory in my life.

Final Note:
The devil may come—
But he will not win.
