Thanksgiving Sermon by Daddy GO Sunday 7th June 2026.

Topic: Divine Partnership

Text: 1 Samuel 2:6-9

Definition of Partnership: Individuals working together for mutual benefit.
Divine: God
Divine Partnership: God becoming your partner. There is no failure when one is in partnership with God.

Biblical Examples of Divine Partnership:
1. Moses * Exodus 3-5
2. Joshua *Joshua 1:1-9
3. David *1 Samuel 17:34-51

Results of Divine Partnership:
- Poverty taken care of: * Proverbs 2:7.
David became prosperous all his life because he partnered with God.
- From destitution to abundance: The widow of Zarephath partnered with God to feed Elisha and received abundance. * 1 Kings 17:8-16
- From great to greater: Solomon. God provided all he required to build the temple.
* 2 Chronicles 1:6-15
- Partnering with God is for man’s benefit.

Warning:
When God withdraws His partnership, it is unpalatable and deadly. * Judges 16:20 (Samson)

Conclusion:
God can pick a man from the dunghill. He can also bring down the mighty, for by strength shall no man prevail.
* 1 Samuel 2:8

Divine partnership requires total surrender to the Lord Jesus.

Topic: Spiritual Maturity.
Text: 1 Samuel 15:22

God’s expectation of us is to grow.

As workers, it is a sign of spiritual maturity to understand that obedience is better than sacrifice.

Time spent with God does not prove spiritual maturity.
Position occupy does not prove spiritual maturity.
Only obedience to the Word of God proves our spiritually matured.

Spiritual maturity is the disposition of our mindset toward God - how we see, seek, and treat Him.

Spiritual maturity separates us from the works of the flesh. Galatians 5:19-21
- It is proven by the fruit we bear. * John 15:8

The spiritually mature:
- Stays humble when criticised
- Repents quickly
- Does the will of God
- Chooses God first against all odds.
* Esther 4:16
* Acts 5:29
- Remains obedient even in trials. Hebrews 5:8
- Forsakes self-will for God’s will.

Are you showing spiritual maturity in your Christian Faith or just occupying a position to cover up?

Topic: The God of Beauty for Ashes.
Text: Isaiah 61-3 & Mark 5:25-34

God is a loving Father who does not take delight in the suffering of creation.
- Anything that prevents you from fulfilling God's plan or manifesting the Glory of God is a position of Ashes.
- Beauty is a reflection of God's Glory in man's life.
- Beauty is enshrined in the assignment of Christ for Man.

Let's look at some lessons from the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25-34...
1) She had a vision for a better tomorrow.
* Romans 10:17
- What have you heard about Christ that shaped your belief and has given you strength to look unto Christ?
2) She was Intentional, she was there with a purpose to go back home healed
- When others were just following to see, she was followed to grab her beauty back
3) She exercised a practical faith
- to get your beauty back you must exercise faith in Christ
- God is more than able to restore you, to give you beauty for Ashes
4) She was Persistent and Consistent
- you must be consistent and persistent with your communion with Christ
- Be focused, look to Jesus without wavering
Conclusion:
God is able to make you beautiful and make life beautiful for you because he is the God of beauty.

Begin the Month with Jesus:
Theme: Beauty for Ashes
Text: Isaiah 61:1-3

Beauty is radiance, appeal, and colour.
Everything about man was beautiful at creation with no trace of ashes - until the enemy struck.

Ashes is a point of no return. It’s a situation that has been written off.
There’s nothing good about ashes. It symbolizes depression, mourning, and hopelessness.

But no matter the kind of ash the enemy has deposited in you, God is set to replace it with beauty.

Beauty for ashes means God takes unpleasant situations and makes them pleasant and pleasurable to Him again.
God can make your life appealing by turning every ash into beauty.

Notable Experiences: Ashes to Beauty*

1. From Stagnation to Movement.
Ashes is a position of stagnation - the “non-rising star.”
_John 9:1-4_ – The man born blind was stagnant until Christ encountered him. This month, your delay ends.

2. From Shame to Dignity
Ashes is a rising star clothed in a garment of shame by the enemy.
_Mark 5:1-6_ – The demoniac was bound and naked. After Jesus, he was found clothed and in his right mind. This month, shame is removed.

3. From Lost Glory to Renewed Shine
Ashes is a shining star that suddenly stopped shining.
_2 Kings 5:1-5_ – Naaman was honourable but had leprosy. One encounter restored him. This month, what dimmed your light will be washed away.

4. From No Remedy to Divine Intervention
Ashes is a situation with no solution by human calculation.
_Daniel 3:22-25_ – The furnace was meant to be their end. Instead, God showed up as the 4th Man. This month, God will enter your fire and bring you out unburned.

Declaration:
Whatever ash the enemy has deposited in you this year - depression, mourning, stagnation, shame, lost glory, hopeless cases - God will exchange it for beauty. Your life will become pleasant and pleasurable to Him again. In Jesus name, amen.
