Beloved family of Christ League International,

As we stand at the threshold of a new year, we are filled with gratitude for the faithfulness of God — the One who carried us, strengthened us, and prepared us for what is ahead.

Today, with joy and conviction, we declare our theme for the year 2026:

WE SOAR.

This declaration is rooted in the promise of God found in Isaiah 40 verse 31:
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.”
In 2026, we rise above limitations.

We rise above fear, doubt, and discouragement.

We rise on the strength of the Spirit, not the strength of man.

Like eagles, we will soar — higher in faith, deeper in intimacy with God, stronger in purpose, and wider in impact.

This is not just a theme — it is a divine invitation.

An invitation to trust, to obey, to walk boldly, and to live fully in God’s calling.

As a peculiar nation, we declare that in 2026:
We soar in our families.
We soar in our ministries.
We soar in our assignments.
We soar in grace and power.
And as we soar, we continue our mandate:
Saving the blind. Building the saved.
May the Lord renew our strength, lift us by His Spirit, and cause us to soar beyond every boundary — in Jesus’ mighty Name.
Amen.

Dearly Beloved
God depends on the human vessels to carry on the work of reconciling the world back to him. And Discipleship is the means through which such vessels are made ready and fit for the master's Use.

Only Disciples are given power.

Matthew 10:1
And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.

It is to this end that we Invite you to " TENT MEETING " ( June Contact) on Sunday 29th June ( see flier for details).

We are committed to raising faithful disciples of the Kingdom to still the mouth of the avengers and to take the battle to the enemy's gates.

Dearly beloved.
As we Journey through this realm, It is Pertinent that we reaffirm our pilgrimage.

While we work and live in this fading territory, yet our gaze is fixed above, though we face the trials of this fallen world, yet we remain resolute.

Hebrews 11:14-16
"For clearly, those who live this way are longing for the appearing of a heavenly city. And if their hearts were still remembering what they left behind, they would have found an opportunity to go back. But they couldn’t turn back for their hearts were fixed on what was far greater, that is, the heavenly realm!
So because of this God is not ashamed in any way to be called their God, for he has prepared a heavenly city for them."

It is to this that we Invite you to April Tent Meeting. We are building strength and God by His Spirit is forging us.

Join us this April.
" The kingdoms of the World has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ".

Invite your friends and families too.
See you!

Text: Proverbs 8:14-16

“I have counsel and sound wisdom; I have insight; I have strength. By me kings reign, and rulers decree what is just; by me princes rule, and nobles, all who govern justly.”

The strength we need for leadership comes from the Lord. When we fail to trust God and his standards, we are weakened. Such was the case for the prophet Elijah.

Faith is a condition of the heart/mind. So is fear. Whether you operate by faith or operate by fear is a matter of what your heart/mind focuses on. Faith and fear are opposite ways of thinking. The mind of faith focuses on God’s presence, principles, and power. The mind of fear focuses on self and circumstances. Fear restricts and narrows your perspective. It distorts your thinking and produces poor decisions. Faith expands and widens your perspective. It clarifies your thinking and produces wise decisions.

Faith empowers you and makes you stronger.
Fear enslaves you and makes you weaker.

It is a timeless principle: Where the mind goes, the man goes. For this reason, when you begin to fear, it is imperative to recognize that your mind is focusing on the wrong thing, and then do the inner work of redirecting your mind to focus on what really matters. If you continue to dwell on self & circumstances, you simply feed your fear.

This is especially true in leadership, because the mindset and emotional state of the leader affects the mindset and emotional state of the group.

Unfortunately, Elijah fell into the fear trap. Rather than focus on the Lord’s presence and power, Elijah got caught dwelling on himself and his circumstances. The result? “Then Elijah was afraid, and he arose and ran for his life.”

Over the years, I have seen this play out again and again in the lives of Christians. I have experienced it in my own life. Something happens and we are confronted with a challenging or difficult situation, and rather than trust God and focus on what we need to do in response to the situation, we focus on ourselves and fixate on perceived threats and problems. As a result, we get anxious or angry or afraid, which causes us to make bad decisions, which only causes us to be even more anxious, angry, or afraid.

Our lack of faith weakens us.

Proverbs 8 tells us that the strength, stamina, and courage to lead is found in the Lord and his wisdom. This is especially true when a leader faces difficult, challenging circumstances.
Throughout scripture we are told the Lord is the source of our strength.

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. The Lord is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of his anointed.” (Psalm 28:7-8)

“He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:30-31)

“I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.” (Psalm 18:1-3)

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.” (Proverbs 18:10)
Fortunately, after Elijah endured his time of fear and weakness, he turned his focus back to God, he regained his strength, and the Lord continued to use him mightily.

Prayer and Reflections
Dear Lord, I receive the grace to live with full responsibility of my stewardship, to love and to obey, and to commit myself to paying attention to your words and guard my heart through out my journey.

Text: Proverbs 8:14-16

“I have counsel and sound wisdom; I have insight; I have strength. By me kings reign, and rulers decree what is just; by me princes rule, and nobles, all who govern justly.”

Leadership is emotionally demanding. This is true for CEO’s, supervisors, coaches, teachers, and parents. If you are going to be an effective leader, you must be emotionally strong. Many a leader has been brought to their knees because of stress.

Solomon tells us here in Proverbs that the Lord’s wisdom provides strength for leadership. As we saw yesterday, it is the Hebrew word geburah, which refers to “strength, might, and courage.” It carries the idea of “capability,” that is, the capacity and stamina to accomplish a difficult and challenging task.

Leadership — real leadership — is difficult and challenging.

The prophet Elijah provides us with an example. Elijah was a courageous and heroic prophet. A man of strong faith. In addition, he was a man of great humility. However, he was also just a man, subject to the human condition. After dramatically defeating the priests of Baal at Mt Carmel, Elijah found out that wicked Queen Jezebel was seeking to kill him.

“Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So may the gods do to me and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by this time tomorrow.” Then he was afraid, and he arose and ran for his life and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.” (1 Kings 19:1-3)

For several years Elijah had stood strong against almost insurmountable odds and circumstances. But now, after a great victory, he falls under a cloud of discouragement and despair. He gets caught in the grip of fear. He was courageous and strong when he did battle and defeated the prophets of Baal, but now, confronted with the wrath of Jezebel, Elijah is afraid and runs for his life.

How did Elijah shift so quickly from faith to fear?

Following the defeat of the prophets of Baal on Mt Carmel, Elijah expected the battle to be over. He thought Ahab would repent and the people of Israel would return to worshiping the Lord God. It had been three and a half years of trusting God: the first confrontation with Ahab, the drought, the training and miracles east of the Jordan, the battle on Mt Carmel, fire from heaven, the return of rain … surely the battle was now over!

But it was far from over.

Unfortunately, Elijah underestimated the tenacity of the enemy, and he let down his guard and made himself emotionally and spiritually vulnerable. Elijah had also forgotten about Jezebel. She was thoroughly committed to the worship of Baal, and the killing of the prophets of Baal only infuriated her. Therefore she sought to exact revenge on Elijah.

But mentally Elijah was not prepared to do battle with Jezebel. Her defiance and vindictiveness caught him by surprise, and he reacted based on fear, not faith. He stopped trusting God and instead focused on himself and his circumstances. It is that shift of focus that caused his fear and his weakness.

Elijah teaches us a critically important lesson about life and leadership: Faith empowers us and makes us stronger. Fear enslaves us and makes us weaker.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.” (Psalm 46:1-3)

Prayer and Reflections
Dear Lord, I receive the grace to live with full responsibility of my stewardship, to love and to obey, and to commit myself to paying attention to your words and guard my heart through out my journey.

Topic: Four Attributes of a Leader
Text: Proverbs 8:14-16

“I have counsel and sound wisdom; I have insight; I have strength. By me kings reign, and rulers decree what is just; by me princes rule, and nobles, all who govern justly.”

The attributes of wisdom-directed leadership that are listed in this passage apply to all who are in a position to lead: business executives, job supervisors and foremen, project managers, school administrators and teachers, athletic coaches, politicians, pastors, and mothers and fathers.

This passage gives four attributes of wisdom-directed leadership:
Esah: counsel
Tushiyah: sound wisdom
Binah: insight
Geburah: strength

Let’s examine each attribute of a wisdom-directed leader.

(1) The first is esah, which is translated “counsel.” It means making use of advice, discernment, and wise judgment when making plans. It refers to seeking out the advice and counsel of wise people, rather than relying only on your own perspective during the planning process. It means being coachable and teachable; it is the opposite of the arrogant, self-centered, know-it-all leader.
A great leader seeks counsel from the timeless truth of scripture, and a great leader prays and seeks God’s wisdom.

(2) The second attribute that the Lord’s wisdom gives to a leader is tushiyah, which is translated “sound wisdom.” It carries the idea of functional understanding that produces lasting, sustainable success. It is not conceptual or philosophical wisdom; rather, it is practical understanding of how something works. It is knowledge that is both efficient and effective. It is the ability to execute.
Effectiveness at any job requires tushiyah … that is to say, a sound and functional understanding of what to do and how to do it. Functional skill is a fruit of godly wisdom. A leader with tushiyah has deep expertise and skill in their profession/job. A great leader can lead people who do the work because he knows the work and has himself done it effectively.

(3) God’s wisdom also provides binah, which is translated “insight.” It is rendered “understanding” in some translations. It denotes the kind of perceiving, discerning, and understanding that comes through careful observation and learning. It comes from the Hebrew word for “between,” and implies the ability to distinguish the real from the unreal, and to sift lies from the truth.
It also refers to the ability to analyze complex situations/problems in order to understand how to respond effectively. It is the ability to see “into” a situation (thus “insight”) to understand what is really going on.
A leader with binah doesn’t jump to conclusions. They are not hasty or impetuous in their decision-making. They are careful, discerning, and insightful in their evaluation of people and situations.

(4) The final attribute the Lord’s wisdom provides is geburah, which is translated “strength.” Leadership is difficult work; it is not for the faint-hearted or emotionally fragile. You need strength and stamina to lead a company or a project or a classroom or an athletic team or a toddler.
The strength that is necessary for effective leadership comes from the Lord and his wisdom. Leadership is emotionally demanding, and if you try to operate on your own wisdom, you will burn out. Trust God. Trust his standards. Seek his wisdom.

“For God did not give us a Spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

Prayer and Reflections
Dear Lord, I receive the grace to live with full responsibility of my stewardship, to love and to obey, and to commit myself to paying attention to your words and guard my heart through out my journey. Amen

Text: Proverbs 8:14-16

“I have counsel and sound wisdom; I have insight; I have strength. By me kings reign, and rulers decree what is just; by me princes rule, and nobles, all who govern justly.”

What are the attributes of an effective leader? What are the distinguishing characteristics of those who are most successful at leading people, teams, and organizations? The Lord’s wisdom is personified here as Lady Wisdom, in direct contrast to the wicked woman of the two previous chapters.

Lady Wisdom tells us that she guides “all who govern justly,” and the leaders identified are “kings, rulers, princes, and nobles.” However, the attributes of wisdom-directed leadership that are listed in this passage apply to all who are in a position to lead: business executives, school administrators and teachers, athletic coaches, politicians, pastors, and mothers and fathers. If you want to be an effective leader in any arena, it is essential to be guided by the specific attributes of the Lord’s wisdom.

I challenge you to read this message slowly and carefully. It is easy — and terribly common — to refer to “wise leadership” without really knowing what we are saying. This passage spells out what it means to be a wisdom-directed leader. We are given very specific characteristics of God’s wisdom that apply to “all who govern justly.”

Before we look at the attributes of wisdom-directed leadership, let’s first establish what it means to “lead justly.” The Hebrew word for “justly” here is tsedek, and it means “rightness.” It means someone or something that operates “rightly,” that is, according to its intended design. Tsedek is closely tied to the idea of creating and maintaining order.

As we have seen previously in our study of scripture, according to God’s design there are three kinds of rightness/tsedek in leadership:

Moral rightness: this is character. There is a moral design to God’s universe. A true leader lives and leads in alignment with God’s moral standards.

Functional rightness: this is competence. There is an operational design to God’s universe. A true leader understands the functional realities of the organization they lead.

Relational rightness: this is connection. There is relational design to God’s universe. A true leader lives and leads in alignment with God’s interpersonal principles.

This is the kind of leadership we need in every sector of society. Leaders who honor God and seek his wisdom. Leaders who seek to operate by God’s standards. Leaders who “govern justly” and lead with character, competence, and connection. Leaders who pursue “rightness” morally, functionally, and relationally.

History and experience demonstrate what chaos emerge when a leader deviates from tsedek … that is, when a leader deviates from God’s design in one of more of the three dimensions of rightness.
Disorder is the principle of entropy in physics. All systems requires focused energy in order to operate, and as they operate they expend energy. If the expended energy is not replaced (and replaced in the right way/time), then the system will move towards disorder/entropy.

Because of poor leadership in our society, we are experiencing moral entropy, functional entropy, and relational entropy at an increasing rate. The moral, functional, and relational dimensions of our society are decaying.

Prayer and Reflections
Dear Lord, I receive the grace to live with full responsibility of my stewardship, to love and to obey, and to commit myself to paying attention to your words and guard my heart through out my journey. Amen
