OUR MANDATE:
Our mandate as a kingdom community is deeply rooted in Isaiah 49:6, ‘Yea, he said, it is too light a thing that thou should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou may be my salvation unto the end of the earth. Believers who are called the “preserved” are those who are sincerely
discontented, disenchanted and disillusioned about the wrongs in the house of God. We have a mandate of raising New Tribes of believers who are well-adjusted, totally balanced, grounded and thoroughly established in the “present Truth” purpose of God! We are under a mandate to participate actively in reshaping the spiritual landscape of the church within our territory. We are mandated to bring a measure of CORRECTION, RE-ORIENTATION and RECONCILIATION into the body of Christ. AFFILIATION:
We are part of a global Apostolic Network called Congress – WBN. We strongly believe and are completely submitted to the apostolic grace that is upon Dr. Noel Woodroffe. New Tribes Assembly is a kingdom community inside of Kingdom Community Network; a global sector of Congress – WBN. BRIEF HISTORY
The senior elder of New Tribes Assembly is Brendy Mba Ndukwe. He got saved in June 1981 and got a confirmation of call to Christian ministry in 1986 during his final year in the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede Owerri. He functioned in various capacities in spiritual ministry and served at different church communities in different cities for about twenty years before pioneering New Tribes in 2001. New Tribes Assembly began with only the senior elder, his wife, four children and two house helps. It was indeed a very humble beginning and a very trying one. Our history has been a very chequered one, stemming from the fact that we were pioneering a new assembly that was not at the time connected to any other; in a completely new territory (different from the one we were known before in ministry work) and proclaiming the then “unpopular” present truth purpose of God. Long and arduous has been our journey up until this point but God has been faithful all the way. COMMUNITY VALUE
