*Message Summary*
Every believer must understand God’s timing and seasons. Just because you don’t see things changing doesn’t mean God has changed. Knowing God doesn’t make you immune to attacks, but trusting Him never fails—people do.
No matter how much support you get from family, friends, or spouses, there will come a time when people step back. Man can fail, but God cannot. Trials and temptations will come, regardless of how faithfully you serve. Man’s thoughts are not God’s thoughts.
This is a sensitive season. Don’t rely on carnal strength—rely on the Spirit. If your faith remains unshaken, God will reveal Himself. He is the same God who hardened Pharaoh’s heart and can turn any situation around.

*What to Do in Times of Trials and Temptation*
*1. Never turn to other gods*
Hold fast to God alone.
*2. Discern the source of your situation*
Be sensitive to know if it’s a test from God, an attack from the enemy, or the consequence of sin. When the enemy attacks or sin’s consequences come, things feel like they’re closing in. When God is testing you, His grace sustains you and things don’t completely collapse. Don’t step out from under God’s covering—He is your protection.
*3. Obey God’s word completely*
An obedient servant will always have God’s backing. When the angel met Mary, her obedience and Joseph’s obedience became their covering. “Trust and obey” is still the path to joy in Jesus. Many people are where God never sent them and wonder why things aren’t working. Delaying obedience is disobedience.
*4. Be led by God, not by your own will*
Walking out of a marriage God never led you into will lead to disaster. Starting a business without God’s direction will leave you without results or fulfillment. When God leads, you walk in a stress-free life. He prepares a table for you even in the presence of your enemies.
*5. Position yourself on the Lord’s side*
Being on God’s side secures His backing. Peter stood on the right side and, at Jesus’ word, caught a multitude of fish. The Samaritan woman positioned herself to hear God when He revealed Himself to her. When you stand on God’s side, you receive His backing.

1. Don’t wait too long to decide to stand for God.
2. Never believe your solution will come outside of God. Every challenge in life has its answer in Him.

1. Thank God for His word.
2. Father, let Your word work in me. Change me and draw me closer to You.
3. Father, confirm that You are my God in this season, in Jesus’ name.
4. Father, increase Your backing over my life in this season, in Jesus’ name.
5. Father, I bring my flesh under obedience to You. I end the rule of the flesh in my life, in Jesus’ name.
6. Father, from today I stand on Your side. I declare I am on the Lord’s side, in Jesus’ name.
7. Father, I and my well-wishers will not be cut short in this season, in Jesus’ name.
8. Father, let the earth open and swallow everyone who has vowed that Nigeria will never know peace, in Jesus’ name.
9. Father, —woe to everyone who calls good evil and evil good, in Jesus’ name. Isaiah 5:20
10. Father, this is my season of glory. Lord, it is my time to rise, shine, and enjoy Your glory. Isaiah 60:1
11. Father, in this rainy season, I quench every flood of sorrow, pain, affliction, disaster, and adversity, in Jesus’ name.
