IF NOT FOR KNOSK SCHOOL I DON'T KNOW WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED TO JOY'S EDUCATION

Last term, a grateful mum called to share with us the plight of her family, after her husband, a police officer, was involved in an accident.

Unable to go to work, and with very little available for the family, their young daughter, Joy was set to begin secondary school but the family could not even afford the initial fees that even public schools charge for new entrants.

Then KNOSK came.

It's been a tough one for that family, but we are excited that because of your support, Joy is comfortably settled in school.

It turns out that she is the life of the party.
Yes, your donations makes real difference to real people who really need this support at this time.

Wondering what the KNOSK N100-a-day Secondary School is about?

The KNOSK N100-a-day Secondary School is a private-public Secondary school designed for children from low income families.

For N100-a-day, our school children get uniforms, books, lunch and the girls get sanitary pads monthly.

Actual fees is N66,000 but parents get to pay as low as N100 a day or N6,000 per term.

To cover the outstanding cost per child, we call on generous partners such as you to cosponsor a child or more by donating N100 a day per child (N3,000 per month) or any amount that is convenient for you. No amount is too small, as donations of any amount makes you a co-sponsor of a child.

Donations can be done one off or periodic as you wish.

You can make donations online via https://paystack.com/pay/donate2knosk
or SMS/WhatsApp 09033338510 or 08090459999 to get bank details.

KNOSK N100-a-day school in Kuje is helping kids from low income homes get quality education and break the cycle of poverty in future...we would love you to help today!

The KNOSK School is an initiative Of Youngstars Foundation.

Partner CLARITY

Over the next few mondays, I will be sharing how some strategic partners have made a huge difference in what I have achieved in the work I have done with young people since 1995.

In 2011 or so, I was visiting the US and reunited with a good friend of mine, Mark De Young. We first met in 2003 when I first visited the US for a 3 months internship with the World Youth Alliance and since then we struck a great relationship.

So during this particular visit with Mark and sharing so many updates, Mark said something instructive to me. He said, am paraphrasing "hey Kings, you have something many people dont have, at a very young age you discovered your purpose and gained clarity about how you want to live your life, Bro....many people even here in America have not found what you have". I have never forgotten this remark and so have never taken it for granted.

CLARITY has made a huge difference in my life. I befriended and cultivated relationship with this partner called clarity at about age 20 and cant count all its benefits.

But what is clarity? It is a noun that means clearness. When something is clear, it gives proper understanding, expression, direction, interpretation and leads to better course of action.

Many people lack clarity or clearness about their life, their career, their course in the university, their relationships, their current situation and even their plans or direction for the year 2020 or the future. And with so much distractions today, it is easy to lack clarity!

Clarity gives peace, confidence, certainty, foresight, direction and leverage even when things do not go as planned.

What does it take to get clarity? A few tips will include….?

Why You Should Write Your 2020 Plans

Many times we dream and plan for a new year, and we have amazing aspirations and some strategies of how to achieve it....but its all in our HEAD! Its not well written out in an organised way.

Imagine someone is proposing a business partnership to you, yes, at first, it may be a verbal discussion, but to take it further and if you have to study and review the proposal to make vital decisions, you will need something written down to read abi?

So how come you are making such a powerful proposal and demanding all that greatness from 2020, but you are unwilling to present your aspirations in a written format to 2020 for better consideration?

You see, taking time to write down your 2020 Goals, Plans, Strategies among others will do the following for you:-
1. In writing your plans out you will think more deeply about your ideas.
2. In writing your plans out, you will gain more clarity and precision about your thoughts.
3. In writing your plans, you will organise your Plans and Strategies better.

First Task
What is your major goal for 2020?

How do you write a goal? A goal is not a wish or a confession.
It is a short compelling sentence that has a clear indicator you can use to measure by the end of 2020.

For example, a goal is not to say, "2020 will be a better year". That is vague and not easy to measure!

So let me give 3 different examples of a measurable goal for 2020.

By 2020, I will build a 10,000 customer base for my restaurant business.
