KINGSHIP IS OF GOD.
(Matt 5:35 & Ps 48:2)
This sermon is aimed at revealing our Kingship positions and authority from God the Father, Son and Spirit. It is hoped and believed that at the end you will not just be blessed, but be a blessing.
Now both our lead passage reads and I quote;
Matt 5:35 - And do not say, ‘By the earth!’ because the earth is his footstool. And do not say, ‘By Jerusalem!’ for Jerusalem is the city of the great King.
Psalms 48:2 reads: - It is high & magnificent; the whole earth rejoices to see it! Mount Zion, the holy mountain, Is the city of the great King.
A King is someone with absolute authority, with complete power, with great domineering.imfluence over a territory, a kingdom, a clan and a nation. Kings have to expiry dates of offices like President, Governor's, Commissioner, or Heads of Institution or parastatals. A king is a different kind of public servant. Government come and go in every nation or society but kingship roles last forever and ever.
This beloved, was the original plan of God from the beginning. God formed man to reign on Earth as His King. As God was King in Heaven, man should be King on Earth. Gen 1:28.
In Deut 17:20. God specifically warned the children of Israel not to allow a stranger come and become king over them. I trust that God meant those whom are committed agents of darkness, vessels of dishonor, workers of iniquity and the likes. God frowns at such evil and will not have any nation or His chosen elects be under such kingship authorities.
It was because of the instance of Sin, this authority of man was snatched for a short time by the devil. It took more than 4,000 years before Jesus finally was born not corruptible seed but of the incorruptible seed (the holy ghost). Lk 1:35.
Little wonder why anytime God instituted a move, His servants come in contacts with authority at the kingship levels. Abraham had his wife taken but was beautifully rewarded with kingship mandate at her return. Gen 12:20.
