Pa Enoch Adeboye has brought ridicuIe to Christianity in Nigeria by putting up a dûbious defence for the incompetent, nepótistic and despotic government of Tinubu. For him to mention the potency of his prayers, while self-serving, the greater intention of his misadventure was to spiritualise his nefarious defence of Tinubu's economic policies. He thought he could be shielded from criticism if this defence was put forward under the cover of prayer as a tool.
He mistakenly thought that the wool of enchantment they had used to cover the eyes of older Nigerians is still working. But it is not working on this generation of young Nigerians.
Hence this backlash.
