KINGDOM DISCIPLESHIP
Expertise and professionalism is a necessity in all works of life and human endeavor. It is necessary that skills be acquired from a more experienced or skilled personnel.
Can you imagine becoming a skilled carpenter without going through carpentry training? That fellow will be a terrible carpenter.
Just as it is relatively impossible in the world to become an expert without tutorship so also in the kingdom.
You cannot attain maturity in God without discipleship.
DISCIPLESHIP: Is an act of a younger (either by age or in faith) learning from someone that has been learning God.
It is both vertical and horizontal in nature.
Vertical discipleship connotes the training, discipline, guidance and instructions you from God directly.
While the horizontal discipleship is the counsel, guide, correction and help from the hand (Man) over your life.
Both level of discipleship is very important to any man that must become an expert in the things of God.
1 Samuel 3:3-9, the dimness of Eli's sight could not shortchange his wealth of experience to guide Samuel rightly.
*BENEFITS OF DISCIPLESHIP*
🌷 It reduces struggling in the path of the disciple. You labor more effectively by revelation.
🌷 Error in your journey to destiny is minimal
🌷 You work from experience without necessarily going through it. The disciplers' experience becomes your starting point.
🌷 You have a shoulder to lean on and gain elevation
🌷 You have a voice speaking on your behalf (2 king 6:15-17, Luke 22:31-32)
🌷 Your paths ends in glory
🌷 You are more exposed than your contemporary
🌷 You grow stronger and better
🌷 You enjoy recommendations
