As we step into this new year, let us leave behind the past—its worries, failures, and disappointments—and embrace the new things God is doing in our lives. 2026 is your year of breakthroughs, divine direction, and unexpected blessings.

God is making a way where there seems to be no way. Step forward in faith, and watch His wonders unfold. 🙏✨

Our Source of Comfort

When you find yourself in pain, it’s natural to seek comfort. Everyone wants the agony of injury, illness, or heartbreak to disappear as quickly as possible.

If you touch a hot stove, you might grab ice for your burn. If you get caught in a rainstorm, you might immediately look for shelter. If you experience the loss of someone you love, you might do whatever you can to distract yourself from grief.

We can also seek things like food, shopping, work, drugs, alcohol, technology, or entertainment as mind-numbing agents to attempt to ease our suffering.

But only one God can truly bring us comfort:

“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When Paul and Timothy use the word “comfort,” they’re describing a God who comforts, consoles, encourages, helps, strengthens, instructs, and refreshes. That’s the God He was to Paul and Timothy, and that’s the God He is today.

No matter how bad things get, God can comfort you in a way that no one else can. You can lean on Him.

And because God’s Spirit is within His people, His people can also comfort others. He works in them and through them to offer a hope that’s beyond any present or future pain.

Are you hurting physically, mentally, or emotionally? There’s a God who cares. There are people who want to help. So cry out to the source of all comfort. You can trust Him with your pain.

Be the Example

Have you ever felt too young—or too old—to do something important? Too small for a big job? Too inexperienced to contribute something meaningful? Too underqualified to make a real difference?

In the book of 1 Timothy, which is a God-inspired letter from Paul to his “son in the faith,” Timothy, Paul equips and encourages Timothy in things like doctrine, leadership, and living out the ways of God. He writes:

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

If you’ve ever felt too young, remember that God has purposefully put you here, at this specific time in history. He wants to use your passion, drive, vision, energy, and ideas to magnify His glory. You see things from a unique vantage point, and that's a great thing.

If you’ve ever felt too old, remember that God has purposefully put you here, at this specific time in history. He wants to use your learned wisdom, grit, leadership, discernment, and life experience to point others to Him. You see things from a unique vantage point, and that's a great thing.

You are never too young or too old to be used by God.

No matter your age, God has empowered you to love Him and to love others, and to live a life that points people to Him. How can you do that? You can set an example—in the way you talk, in the way you act, in the way you love, in the way you live out your faith, and in your purity.

You can be the example.
You can represent Him.

Pray Yourself Out.

In Psalm 20v1-2;

“The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;”

V2 “Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;”

From the scriptures above you can see that, no matter how merciful the Lord can be, if He doesn’t hear your prayer in the time of trouble, there will be no help for you.

God is a very present help in trouble ( Psalm 46v1), but God doesn’t move until He hears your prayers.

Many believe that God is seeing what they are passing through, yes, God can see all things, but He doesn’t break protocol.

He is a God of order as He says in 1 Corinthians 14v40, “Let all things be done decently and in order”.

The principle or protocol is in Mathew 7v7;
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”

So if you are not interested in prayers, God will equally not interested in what you are passing through.

A lot of things are going on in the life of many and God is seeing all. Don’t assume that God will just intervene on your behalf without hearing you in prayers.

You must seek, knock before the open doors will come. That is the principle or you remain in the trouble ( that won’t be you)

Jesus saw 2 blind people in Mathew 20v30-34, He knew that they were blind but the principle must be obeyed.

He asked them what they wanted Him to do for them in other word, pray it out. No divine help until there is a prayer.

The same way, God is expecting you in the midst of all these challenges, what do you want Him to do for you?.

The Bible says in, 1 Thessalonians 5v17 “Pray without ceasing.”
So it’s either you are a man of prayer or you are a man causing blessings to cease. Remember men ought to pray not to faint (Luke 18v1).

God says in lsaiah 43v26,
“Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.”

That is prayer. So if you want justification out of all the challenges, list out all that you want God to do for you in this morning prayer and read them to God.

In this 40 days post resurrection appearance of Jesus Christ, your case must be visited in Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.

*Prayer Background:*
This verse reflects the truth that God is aware of our desires and the emotional struggles we go through.

It conveys the truth that we can turn to God with our desires, and He is always willing to listen and respond.

While it's important to remember that God's responses may not always align with our desires, this verse highlights faith in God's willingness to hear our heartfelt prayers and petitions.

Let's hand over everything to God to continue from where we stopped previously , this new month.

Wonderful Father,
I come before You today with a heart full of gratitude.

I thank You for Your unwavering presence in my life, knowing that all my desires and my deepest groaning are known to You.

You hear the silent cries of my heart, and for that, I am truly thankful.

Thank You for Your boundless love and understanding, for being the one I can turn to in my hours of need.

Your willingness to listen and be with me every moment fills me with profound appreciation.

In Your presence, I find solace and strength.

I am thankful for Your constant presence and Your promises to guide me on the journey of this month and this quarter.

May I continue to seek Your wisdom and trust in Your divine plans, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

Father, I pray that would You grant me favour with everyone I come in contact with this month, as found in Psalm 106:4 and Daniel 1:9, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

Father Lord, I decree and declare that the mountains and hills break into singing before me, and all the trees of the field clap their hands for me this month, as in Isaiah 55:12, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

Lord, I pray that everything I do and everything I touch this month increases, multiplies, and prospers, just as Isaiah 65:23 promises, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

Lord, help me to truly represent You and Jesus in my words, actions, and in my thoughts this month, as stated in 2 Corinthians 5:20, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

I decree and declare that opportunities for growth, profits, and increases come to me this month, and I recognize and take advantage of them, as 2 Corinthians 9:9-11 assures, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

Father Lord, make every door I knock on this month open to me of its own accord, as promised in Matthew 7:7 and Acts 12:10, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

Lord, use me as a vessel of Your praise and glory, bringing Your messages of love and hope to everyone I encounter this month, in accordance with Isaiah 41:15, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

I declare that I am immune from every disease that plagues the world this month, in the Name of Jesus, as found in Psalm 91:7, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

I decree and declare that no power of hell shall prevail over me, over my family, and over my endeavours this month, as affirmed in Matthew 16:18 and Luke 10:19, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

Father, I pray that I receive my share of the blessings of heaven this month and that I do not miss out, according to Ecclesiastes 5:9, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

Oh Lord God, fill my life with Your glory so that every step I take reflects Your love, life, beauty, and glory.

May people glorify Your Holy Name through my life this month, as stated in Matthew 9:8, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

Lord, help me to keep my thoughts pure this new month and declare that sin shall not have dominion over me, in accordance with Psalm 19:14 and Romans 6:14, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

Father, cause me to be willing and obedient, that I may enjoy the abundance of the land this month, as declared in Isaiah 1:19, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

Above all, Lord, help me to make the most of my time this month, recognizing that the days are evil, as advised in Ephesians 5:16, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

I cover all my prayers and my decrees and my declarations and my commands and my petitions by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ for absolute performance.
