WHY YOU SHOULD DECIDE NOT TO BE POOR. Yes, yes I know you're already saying who wants to be poor. And I believe no one wants to be poor. Even if you ask a man stricken in poverty he doesn't want to be poor and seriously believes he will one day be rich. But, seriously most of them/ probably you too will remain and die poor because there day to day actions betray their wishes or rather confession. Anyway , you should decideto leave the poverty glory(like some people glory in poverty;not spiritual poverty oh, physical one). Just as to choose or decide to accept Christ or the spouse you marry. Deuteronomy 30.19 'I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:' It's no hearsay but the scripture indicates that life and death is before us. CHOOOOSE. YES DECIDE. No long talk sha, here are some reasons why you should decide not to be poor if not for your sake for these reasons. 1. Your immediate family: 1Timothy 5:8 " if anyone(male/female) does not take care of his RELATIVES , especially the members of HIS OWN FAMILY, he HAS DENIED the FAITH and is WORSE THAN AN UNBELIEVER" this is not me but the sure word of God. Imagine you explaining how you would have made it to your children, or how you can't take care of your spouse (male/female). If you're married you can explain, if you're not you should have experience one with your parents. So much to say but lets ride in to the next point.(this includes your extended family) 2. For those that have laboured for you. John15 denotes a branch bearing fruits and fruits are meant to be eaten or to benefit the gardener. God expect that as he "gardens" you , you should bear fruits. No man is our source but surely men have contributed thus far to where you are and going to. You have to decide not to be poor for their sake(if you don't want to be rich for your sake). Think of the investment of your pastor, your parents, uncle, that faithful girlfriend/ boyfriend who always support and encourage you, think of your wife or husband. Think of that faithful friends of yours. Yeah, I believe the names are coming alive. Please choose not to be poor for these one. Some don't really need your money but haba at least who wont be happy to see you wealthy and is part of it.CHOOSE. 3. Kingdom sake This includes the body of Christ, the gospel of Christ. You can't speak in tongues all your life and your one dine hasn't gone into kingdom projects and work. Are you a Christian? Or is your tongue not giving you direction? 😝. Listen, the world need our gospel of Christ and his kingdom but its our cash not just prayer that will take it to the ends of the earth. Since you don't want to gain power to multiply loaves and fishes but kingdom work, then CHOOSE NOT TO BE POOR SO YOUR MONEY CAN DO THAT FOR YOU. (21st century miracle permit me to say) Zechariah 01.17 'Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.' 4.For your society. Beloved, we cannot keep folding hands and saying government this government that. You and I can make our environment habitable and improve the lives of people. Who say you can't make bridges ? Who say you can't build hospitals, who said you can grow multi million dollar 💵 companies and organizations? Who say streets can't be named with yours? Who said the girl chip can't be helped? Who said you can't rise to the top. The truth is nobody said all that but you. If you choose to. The creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God: Who said its only in power ( oh we have been given power to make wealth.deut.8:18) or miracles. My friend; money causeth miracles in peoples life oh. What is a miracle to a hungry child ? FOOD. what is a miracle to an unemployed graduate? (JOB) . What is a miracle to a village with no power? POWER. You can do just that if you CHOOSE NOT TO BE POOR. (anticipate: WHY YOU WILL REMAIN POOR) JESSE SAM.
