WISDOM ALERT!!!
PROPHESY.

1 Corinthians 14:3 (KJV) But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

1 Timothy 4:13 (KJV) Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

In Joel 2:28 there was a prophecy concerning the church spoken by the prophet Joel. We were told that on the last day God is going to pour out his Spirit upon all flesh which will cause God's sons and daughters to prophecy.

Now on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came upon the believers in the upper room, the Apostle Peter under the inspiration of the Spirit notified the hearers that this was that which was spoken by the prophet Joel. Meaning even though they were speaking in an unknown tongue Peter made them understand that they were prophesying in fulfilment to prophet Joel's prophecy. Meaning speaking in tongues when interpreted becomes a prophecy for the hearers. This is the reason why the bible says that the person who prophesy builds the church, while it also says the person who speaks in an unknown tongue builds himself. Meaning both tongues and prophecy does the same thing just that one is personal, while the other is a ministration to others.

In Timothy 4:13 Paul speaking to Timothy told him to give attention to reading, to exhortation and to doctrine. Now when you pay attention to the word exhortations without understanding other scriptures you'll not get the point.

In our opening scripture in I Corinthians 13:3 the bible tells us that he that prophesieth speaketh unto men for their edification, and exhortation and comfort.

Notice, one of the output of prophecy is exhortation. The exact thing the Apostle Paul asked Timothy to give attention to. Meaning Paul was invariably telling Timothy to give attention to prophecy because out of prophecy comes exhortation.

Exhortations serve as an encouragement that comes from positive words. It is the elevation of the human mind and spirit through inspiring words of positivity and divine oratory. It is the verbalising of God's words and promises so as to activate your consciousness for better outcomes in life.

Many Christians are down today because they're not giving attention to exhortation through prophecy. This is the reason why God gave us his Spirit so we can be inspired daily to prophesy.

All these weak and beggarly religious prayers will take you nowhere. God in his wisdom has given us prophecy so we can speak both in our lives and the lives of other people. When you speak in tongues you're prophesying into your own life and when you interpret and communicate with known words you're speaking into the lives of others.

Prophecy stirs up fire within you, it directs your heart and things around you to conform to the divine order prepared for your life and destiny.

As a child of God don't keep your mouth shut and be complaining. Start to speak about things that are positive and beautiful all-around you through prophecy. Praise God.

WISDOM ALERT!!!
FULL KNOWLEDGE.

2 Timothy 3:10 (KJV) But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience.

Half baked knowledge is much more as destructive as no knowledge.

Do not settle for a glimpse of truth because truth only works as a whole.

Jehovah speaking to his people said this in Hosea 4:6 - My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

When you observe these writings of the wise and immortal God you'd notice two things. The first were those who have rejected knowledge. These are those who have no desire and inquisitivity for knowledge. They lack the appetite for knowledge and considers knowledge as thing of no relevance to them. The second group I noticed are those who Jehovah says have forgotten the law of the lord. These group didn't give themselves fully to God's word by constant meditation and improvements for full knowledge and understanding. Hence they forgot even the little they knew. For this reason they were rejected from the things of God.

It's vital we understand that knowledge is what really separates winners from losers and champions from victims. Hence when you're rejected because of the lack of knowledge it's not necessarily a divine punishment , rather a consequence of ignorance because no ignorant person can succeed in anything.

In our opening scripture the Apostle Paul referenced Timothy as one who has fully known his ways. This was the secret of Timothy in ministry. He was one who was given to full knowledge.

Half baked knowledge is much more as destructive as no knowledge. This is the reason why both the one who rejected knowledge and the one who forgot God's knowledge received the same fate.

In Mathew 13:10 in the interpretation of the parable of the sower. Our lord and master Jesus referred to the seed that fell amongst stones as the one who received the word with joy, but because they lacked no roots couldn't produce any fruit just as the one that didn't enter the earth.

When God told Joshua to meditate on his word to make his way prosperous this was what he was talking about. When Paul said the same thing to Timothy to give himself wholly to God's word so his profiting may appear to all, this was what he was talking about. Understand that every knowledge has its intricacies will help you pay more attention and go deeper into knowledge. Never you settle for a glimpse of truth because truth works in a whole.

Whatever you do, never you settle for half baked knowledge because full knowledge is the way to win confidence, gain mastery and produce the right results in anything in this life. If you run with joy with half knowledge you'll definitely come back crying and feeling sad in no time because you thought you knew something, unknowingly to you, you haven't known as you ought to know.

The bible talks about being thoroughly furnished in the knowledge of God's word. People who run with half knowledge make a mess of everything because they're filled with assumptions in the things they do. Do not settle for a glimpse of truth because truth only works in a whole. This is the reason why many businesses fail just when they started. Even in ministry if you don't get full truth you'd become heretic before you know it.

As a child of God learn to study more in God's word and everything committed to you so you can have the intended result. Praise God.

WISDOM ALERT!!!
KEEP SEARCHING.

James 1:5 (KJV) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Proverbs 2:4-5 - If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.(KJV).

Wisdom was never meant to be a one off experience.

Wisdom if impacted must be nurtured as a seed.

In Luke 2:40 the bible tells us that our lord and master Jesus grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.

This shows us vividly that wisdom is to be developed, and not to be considered a birthright. If our lord and master Jesus had to grow in wisdom, it must mean wisdom is something to be developed.

Too many people assume too much of those who are wise as though knowledge and wisdom is something that falls from the sky.

Wisdom was never meant to be a one off experience. it's something that is meant to be developed and nurtured. This is the reason why even though Solomon was impacted with wisdom, he later deviated and started acting foolishly by accumulating too many women who served other gods. This is because if you don't constantly set your eyes on the search of wisdom you'll never live up to it.

Proverbs 2:4-5 tells us that if we will search for wisdom as a hidden treasure, then we shall understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. Meaning if you're not searching for wisdom you can't have wisdom. It doesn't matter if you're christian or not, born again or not, wisdom remains a search for those who really wants it.

James 1:5 told us if there is anyone in the church who lacks wisdom he should ask from God and God who gives liberally will give it to him. Notice James was talking to the church who were born again and were saved. Yet there were still those amongst them who lacked wisdom.

In Acts 6 when the church wanted to chose Deacons to oversee the affairs of church welfare they insisted on men who are full of the Spirit and wisdom. There is a reason why these two factors were linked together as a condition. It is because being full of the Spirit and wisdom are things that are nurtured. That you're impacted by the Holy Spirit doesn't mean you're full of the Holy Spirit. If that were the case they will not need a separation because all have been impacted by the Spirit.

Wisdom if impacted must be nurtured as a seed. Just like the Holy Spirit, you'll need to keep searching for wisdom through God's word for a victorious Christian life on the earth. It should become your daily experience and search.

As a child of God don't ever think you'll become wise as you age, if that were the case Solomon would not have deviated. Learn to keep searching for wisdom daily im God's word. Praise God.

WISDOM ALERT.
EYES ON THE PRIZE.

Luke 9:62 Says- And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.(KJV)

2 Timothy 2:5 says - And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.(KJV)

One of the functionalities of the human eyes is to see to it that we can get directions and inspirations towards a particular thing; We're moved by what we see as humans, and the ability to fix our eyes on things consistently attracts us to that thing. Vision is always the pioneering factor in any given purpose.

The Apostle Paul tells us here that there are rules to every game, and the ability to play by the rules is the key to getting the prize. It's a foolish thing to play a game and not consider the rules that makes it happen.

One of the rules for success is your ability to fix your eyes on the prize, because it's of a great motivation. Like I said before, sights can serve as inspiration; hence your ability to fix your eyes on the prize will go a long way to energise you in life.

Hebrews 11:6 Says - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

In every competition and labour in life there are no surprise prizes and wages, all of these things are placed before the labourers and the competitors for some simple reason, so that they can fix their eyes on the prize so as to motivate them.

It is common knowledge that profit is the motivation of all entrepreneurs; hence don't ever venture into an entrepreneur without first and foremost having a clear cut vision for the prize and profit that will come out of it . In fact, you need to first and foremost understand the life and advantages success financially will bring to you before even going into it, because most people who give up fail this test. When you understand the difference money brings in your life, you'll hate laziness.

When you'd study the bible we are told of several crowns such as crown of life and crown of Glory which the lord will give to them that love him. In fact, we're also told about entering into the joy of lord and several other great prizes that we will receive in God's kingdom to come. This is one of the reasons we labour and are always inspired in God's vineyard while labouring.

Hebrews 11:6 shows us here the need to always fix our eyes on the prize that Comes from God so we can indeed receive the prize. What this means is that, we're not to take actions in vain thoughts, thinking there is no reward for our actions. When the bible says give and it shall be given to you, it is what it is.

For instance the bible tells us to take care of that which belongs to another man so we can have our own. So when you work under a boss or an organisation, fix your eyes on the prize that comes when you take care of that which belongs to another.

In our opening scripture our lord and master Jesus tells us a man who is ploughing doesn't look back or else he is not worthy of the prize that comes from the king. This shows us there is something or a place he ought to be looking at, and that thing is the prize. You're either fixing your eyes on the prize or you're fixing your eyes behind.

The thing is, when you don't even know everything in life has a prize negative or positive you're more likely to take actions always on the negative; But when you understand that there is a prize for every action you take, you'd become more focused and determined to do the right thing.

Hebrews 12:2 says- Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.(KJV)

The bible shows us clearly here that part of the reasons he endured the cross was because the joy was set before him. Meaning his eyes were on the prize constantly; hence when the time of trials and pains came he couldn't look at the pain because his eyes were already fixed on the prize.

This is what makes the difference between two people studying, competing or working in an office. The ones who have found the prize and have made up their minds to fix their eyes on the prize acts in a very different and inspiring way than others who haven't. While others are complaining, he or she is smiling and pushing hard because the eyes are already fixed on the prize not the temporary issues.

When you do this you'd become hopeful, inspired and resilient understanding when the prize comes all of these things will fade away.

2 Corinthians 4:18 (KJV) While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Praise God.

WISDOM ALERT!!!
LEARN TO RECEIVE COMMANDS. PART-2

Proverbs 1:2 - To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; (KJV)

Psalms 19:8 Says- The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.(KJV)

Opinions are the first poison to wisdom.

Obedience brings understanding.

From my experience I have come to see that wise people don't really know anything of their own. They're just people who have adopted knowledge from others and are putting it to use. In reality fools are the ones who knows something of their own, the more reason they're fools because it's their knowledge; hence no one is buying it.

Opinion is the first poison to wisdom. When people think they have so much internally generated opinions opposed to what they ought to know externally, wisdom runs far away from them. Many years ago while staying with my uncle a friend of his brought his younger brother to live with us so he could get a job for him. This young man from Benue state same age with me was something else. He seems to have all the words, reasonings and ideas to counter any well meaning advice given to him. In fact, he did not only have strong opinions, he has the time to keep the conversation untill he has the last words. The last time I saw his uncle and asked about him I was told he relocated back to the village long time ago as he couldn't survive city life living in a very deplorable state.

People who are highly opinionated don't always do well in life, because they talk more than they listen. They seem to have a tightly formed mind that it almost impossible to for them to receive instructions and commands. If you really want to get a picture of what I am talking about here, take this message and gospel of our lord Jesus to alcohol joints in inner cities and low-level places. You will be shocked at the opinions and criticism you'll receive.

Psalm 19:8 tells us that the commandments of the lord are right, and it makes the heart rejoice. Then he says again - The commandments of the lord is pure enlightening the eyes. The term enlightening there means God's commands gives understanding to the receiver. What this means is that understanding comes by doing his commands. I say this because the problem with opinionated people is that they want to understand before they can receive instructions, but it's the obeying of the command that brings understanding.

When you're raising a child you'd demand the child make some pronunciations even though the child doesn't understand the words. You even go as far as demanding the child do some certain things knowing fully well they don't even understand what they're doing. But in process of time they begin to understand what they're doing because they're doing it. You don't start a job with a boss and start arguing with him on something he has been doing for years because you think you've great ideas. If you've great ideas you shouldn't be a staff, you ought to be the boss. People with opinions run with assumptions which they use in arguing all the time.

Proverbs 1:2 says - To know wisdom and instructions; to perceive words of understanding. Meaning when you receive commands and instructions then can you perceive understanding. You'll definitely need an empty cup for a refill. If you think you know it's impossible to receive instructions because your own knowledge dictates against every other knowledge. If you want to receive commands you must first and foremost get rid of your options. People who are too opinionated always find it hard to receive commands, especially from God their creator.

John 5:30 Says- I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

In religious circles when you get to understand God's word for what is it and have let go your options, you'd be shocked to see how many so called Christians run their Christianity based on their opinions; hence a proof they can't receive commands from God. Look at our lord Jesus the master himself letting us know that he cannot give his own opinions, that as he hears from the father so he speaks. Many Christians interprets their opinions into everything and every text in the bible because they can't receive commands.

People who know how to receive instructions understand that the greatest threat to this art is opinions. It will stop you from understanding what you're being told to do. It will obsure all details and leave you in a constant state of resistance against wisdom.

As a child of if you think you know, the bible insist you don't know as you ought to know. Get rid of too much opinions and receive God's commands. Praise God.

WISDOM ALERT!!!
KNIFE TO THY THROAT.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV) To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Daniel 1:8 - But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Understanding time and season is actually what brings you into your season.

Where there is no restraint to appetite understanding of purpose is lacking.

Nothing destroys wealth like appetite, and where there is no restraint to appetite poverty runs unhindered. It's no news that the poor consumes more than the rich in many sense because to be rich means consumption must be way below production. The reverse of this defines poverty. That means when we say someone is poor it actually means what he or she produces is below what he or she consumes. So indeed the poor consume more than the rich.

In Daniel 1:8 we're told Daniel and his three friends refused the kings daily meal portions so as not to defile themselves. This is because they understood that it was a bad timing because they needed that time to focus on their spiritual productivity. They knew getting into the king's meal portion at that time will wean down their mental and spiritual potentials. Hence instead of drinking and eating and having a good time they separated themselves for the lord. At the end we're told they were ten times better than their peers.

In our opening scripture Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us that to everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under the heaven. Although this statement sounds cheap, it's still difficult for fools to understand it. That an opportunity to satisfy your appetite is presented to you doesn't mean you should go into it. In most cases people build their appetite on another man's account. This is the reason why many people became alcoholics from free liquors. It's either from parties or outings with acquaintances.

Proverbs 23:1-2 - Says -When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee: And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.(KJV).

That someone who is rich gives you an opportunity to expand your appetite doesn't mean you should get into it. This is because at the end you'll develop an appetite you can't sustain. These four Hebrew guys were slaves and understood vividly that the kings meal portion was a trap. So when the bible instructs us to put a knife to our throat it is because where there is no restraint of appetite understanding of purpose is lacking. Meaning you'll need to put a knife to your throat so the flashing things being placed before you will not develop an insatiable appetite in you that will drain your resources leading to poverty.

Understanding time and season is actually what brings you into your season. That your friends and neighbours are doing big shopping for Christmas and other festive seasons doesn't mean you'll have to to do same. Learn to put a knife to your throat because everybody's time is different. This is because if you don't put a knife to your throat you'll develop an appetite for things you can't afford which will lead you into poverty. Praise God.

WISDOM ALERT!!!
PROVERBS 3. - part one.

Proverbs 3:35 (KJV) The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.

There are no life's pursuit void of knowledge that wins.

The core foundation of everything remains wisdom.

Proverbs chapter three is an outstanding bible passage worth every attention and learning. It talks about things that makes life and progress work and the encompassing principles behind waking with God.

In verse one it says - My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
Proverbs 3:1 (KJV)

Notice it's didn't say forget not me my son, rather my laws and commandments. This is because memory of God isn't the same thing as the knowledge of God. The knowledge of God is applying his laws, that is, his principles and commandments, that is, his instructions. This is because mentioning God a thousand times a day isn't the same thing as the knowledge of God. God's knowledge is the application of his laws and commands into your life.

You see, there are people who are just religious and because of this little progress is made with God and life. Them forgetting the simple fact that God is a God of laws and commands and to walk with him is to follow that wisdom.

There are no life's pursuit void of knowledge that wins. The core foundation of everything remains wisdom.

Then it tells us that - For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.Proverbs 3:2 (KJV)

Meaning there is a reward when these principles are applied in our lives. For instance, the law of honouring parents according to the scriptures produces length of days for the practitioners.

The problem is that there are many who call on God, but very few who walk in his laws. Talk is cheap they say, but work is where true results lies.

When you see some certain unfortunate things play into some people's lives that lack real explanation, it is most likely these folks have failed the test of putting God's word into practice.

When you see God's word and treat with lack of respect to your life, you'd end up with a negative impact because the attention and value you place on God's word is what comes into you life.

As a child of God make it a priority to live out God's word and put to practice his commands so you can always enjoy the benefits. Praise God.
