TEAM WORK PART-3

Proverbs 24:6 - For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.(KJV)

Daniel 2:17 Says- Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:(KJV)

True wisdom must be tested in social interactions.

Nothing breeds assumptions like isolation.

in the redemptive work of God for mankind it's very important we understand that God formed a team called the trinity. We see God manifested as the father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Many bible scholars will tell you when God said in the beginning let us make man in our own image after our likeness it was sort of a conversation from this formidable team.

In the book of revelation the bible shows us that before God's throne are twenty four elders, which shows us clearly God doesn't work alone Irrespective of the fact that he doesn't need anyone's counsel, yet the bible shows us clearly he chose twenty four elderly folks to dwel with him.

Our lord and master Jesus speaking to his apostles in Luke 22:30 said this - That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Think about it, the wonderful counselor himself needs solid twelve men to sit with him making judgement. This is the exact picture that dispicts supreme court judges who sit together and come up with a decision on a matter. If the master counselor have a team on earth as we saw in our last study, and now in heaven he has a team, what makes you think you can make reasonable success without a team.

Whatever makes you think isolating yourself guarantees your success is Satan's trap to keep you stranded in life when it matters most. Most people who grow isolated don't do well in life, and they become naive to life's realities because true wisdom and knowledge can only be tested in social interactions that a team work presents.

The prophet Daniel has an encounter with the king's official and a responsibility was presented to him. What will Daniel do? He went to his companions and told them about the issue and they prayed and proffered solutions for Daniel to present to the king. Daniel could have decided to do it alone, but he understands the power of team work.

Proverbs 24:6 our opening scripture says, for by wise counsel you'll win wars, and in a team of advisers there will be guaranteed success. People who are loners from my experience sit down, think and assume things that ain't true and run with in life only to fail at the end. If they've taken the liberty to have a real team and learn to interact with that team, surely someone within the team will clearly bring an objection and others will concor bringing convicting facts against such assumptions.

When you isolate yourself you deprive yourself from the wealth of wisdom God has placed in others for your benefit. A team affords you that leverage to test run your ideas and make sure you're in line with reality. If you think you know it all and can do it all you'll be shocked what you thought was worth was worthless.

As a child of God take the leverage of the wisdom and the knowledge a team work brings so you don't live in assumptions and foolishness. Praise God.

Luke 16:9 - And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.(KJV)

Mark 3:14 Says- And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,(KJV)

Having a team is the first sign of resourcefulness.

Loners definitely are self centered folks.

In the bible the man whom our lord and master Jesus left at the helm of leadership after his departure was a man who was experienced in team work; and that person was no other person than the Apostle Peter himself who had a formidable team as a fisher man. It was that team in Luke 5:7 that helped him bring the great miraculous catch to the shore which most of the greater part became Christ's apostles and disciples. It was Ralph Mahony the author of the bible handbook shepherd staff that said, don't make a man a leader who doesn't have anyone following him.

The bible tells us that our lord and master Jesus ordained twelve men who will be with him so that he can send them out. The emphasis today is the term - Be With Him. Think about it, our lord Jesus needed some persons to be with him. Meaning he wasn't a loner in the things he does, he made it clear that he needs people.

I have seen people who live and act as though they don't need anybody because they seem to have this false sense of spiritual superiority. These are the type of folks who confuse self righteousness that isolates them for Holiness. If our lord Jesus who is the author of Holiness could make twelve friends and more deliberately then you'll need to think again if your so called loneliness is a result of your so called holiness.

Like in our last study God's design is that we don't run our lives in a solo fashion. God already placed the structure for man's survival in a team, and when you deliberately avoid this bible fact you'll encounter so many problems in life. Many people today have been caught up in a prayer hype and are not getting results because so many prayers to God are built on false expectations. What a team work is expected to do, prayer will not do it. If our lord Jesus needs a team to win, what makes you think as a lone prayer warrior you can win alone. In fact, in Mathew 18:19 the bible shows us clearly that the most powerful prayer is a team prayer where two or more agree on a thing on earth. Meaning loners definitely can't do well because they're working out of order.

This is the reason why in our opening scripture our lord and master Jesus instructed us to use our money to make friends so that when our money fails they can help us. This is because God knows just as you need him you also need people to survive on this earth; and he insists you make sure you have a team.

The thing is, many loners are very self centered. They don't want to share with others, that's why they avoid making friends; but the blow back comes when all the chips are down they're alone in thier problems, like the old saying, If you chop alone you'll die alone.

Team work relieve''s you from so many burdens and troubles in life. God's word shows us clearly that deliberately forming a team is crucial for your success and survival.

As a child of God make up your mind at the end of this series to go out and make friends just as our lord Jesus did in the scriptures, because insecurity will always make you a loner. Praise God.

Ecclesiastes 4:10 - For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.(KJV)

Genesis 2:18 Says- And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.(KJV)

Every success has a team.

Mediocrity is mostly associated with loners.

The wisdom of God for all eternity will always stand out when thoroughly investigated with an open mind. God's word and ways might be ancient, but it remains the most recent wisdom for very minute, hour, day and years to come in our lives.

For instance, the bible shows us in Genesis after God created man he had an after thought that it isn't right that man was alone, there is a need to get him a team to work with; hence he made the woman for him. This shows us the cruciality of team work for success. If you want to succeed you'll definitely need a team.

Traditionally the marriage institution is a team structured by God to bring a robust and successful life for a man. Anyone who will approach the marriage institution with such mentality will surely excel in life; but beyond the marriage institution, God wants you to understand the place of team work in anything you do. If you don't have a team, it's certain you will not be able to pull through some certain challenges in life.

This is the reason why Ecclesiastes 10:4 says it's like curse to be alone because when you fall there will be no one to lift you up. The reason why many people have bad friends is because they don't treat friendship as a team. Every relationship ought to be treated as a team irrespective of your different goals and visions in life. What you call friends ought to be your team who you can count on to pull you through some certain challenges in life. If you can't count on your friends you don't have a team.

Team isn't something only for those playing sports and football or some blue collar sales and marketing job, team is something ordained by God in his word from creation as a support system for everyone he created. God's vision is that the whole earth becomes a team to actualise his vision for them. This is the reason why our lord and master Jesus created the church in the first place. The family union ought to be a team, communities and churches inclusive.

God's design is that you have a formidable team as friends and colleagues. Trying to figure out your life and things alone is where satan wants you to be. In fact, it's the major reason for too many set backs for many people in life. The thing is, God's wisdom will do much more for you than any prayer request and petition. Understanding how success works is very key in your spiritual and material journey in life.

As a child of God living as a loner is one sure sign to prove you're not getting better, and won't make much progress. Find a team and become a success. Praise God .

WISDOM ALERT!!!
SERVANT-HOOD

Matthew 10:39 (KJV) He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Matthew 10:38 (KJV) And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

The worth of a servant is in the king's service.

What's special about a soldier without the battlefield.

When you meet people whose lives are uninspiring and doesn't make much sense and impact, just know you've met someone whose life isn't dedicated to a course and purpose.

A man without purpose, or one who lacks loyalty to a purpose is like chaff driven by the wind. At the slightest storm he or she is blown away our of course and direction. Men of purpose and those loyal to a purpose easily sail through storms of life.

When our lord Jesus walked the earth, he unambiguously made the principle of living for a purpose clear to his followers. Apart from the sacrificial death of our lord Jesus on the cross, another thing that is crystal clear from the new testament is the purposeful life of the believer for our lord Jesus. Hence to say you received his sacrificial death for you and missed the life of purpose for him means you're a fraud.

In Mathew 10:38 We've been told that if we don't take up our cross and follow after our lord and master Jesus Christ we're not worthy of him.

This is because the worth of a servant is in the king's service. The real value of life is service. If you're not available for God's use as a servant, then your servant-hood becomes meaningless. Meaning you're not a servant until you're serving the master as instructed.

In those days within African monarchical culture especially in the Kingdom of Benin, when the Oba die his servants were buried with him. In fact, most of the servants don't even have a life of their own such as marrying and having children. All of their lives are dedicated to the king and his kingdom.

Servant-hood is a life of service dedicated to the master Jesus with absolute loyalty. It is your total commitment to his will and work. It is you putting all of your life to his mission and purpose on this earth so as to be a worthy servant. If men can become celibate for human kings, what about the king of kings, the eternal and true God.

In our opening scripture the master told us if we hold on to our life, we shall lose it, and if we lose our life for his sake we shall find it. This is because the servant has no life of his own. Whenever he thinks he has his own life he actually looses the life because what's special about a soldier without the battlefield field. What's the worth of a servant's life without service. The fish life is in the water, to live outside the water means death.

When you commit your life into his hands, you begin to feel yourself and find true meaning to your life. The lack of this makes life empty, meaningless and boring for the servant

Every true servant understands that servant-hood is where servants thrives and feel alive. It is the place where their life and intentity is revealed.

As a child of God putting your heart and life into God's work isn't a choice, rather the very essence and definition of your servant-hood. Praise God.
