Yesterday, members of Dominion City Lugbe, friends and loved ones gathered at the home of our Pastor, Dr. Mike Olime, to celebrate his birthday and thank God for his life.

It was a beautiful time of worship, praise and thanksgiving, and a lovely opportunity to celebrate the man of God and the impact his life continues to make.

Happy birthday once again, Pastor Mike. We celebrate and appreciate you, Sir. ❤️

Dear Pastor Mike,

You are not just exceptionally good at thinking outside the box and coming up with ideas; you have a remarkable way of creating room for other people to grow.

You see potential.
You encourage excellence.
You care about people.
And somehow, that spirit has rubbed off on those of us privileged to work with you.

So today, beyond all the birthday wishes, we simply want to say:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, OUR PASTOR! 

Today, Dominion City Lugbe HQ celebrates a man whose life has become a blessing to many.

Dr. Mike Olime, our pastor, our leader, our teacher, and a father to this house, today, we honour you!

Thank you for every sermon that challenged us, every prayer you lifted for us, every correction that helped us grow, every sacrifice made quietly, and every time you stood in the gap for this church and for the people God has entrusted to you.

You have not only preached leadership; you have modelled it.

You have not only told us to transform society; you have continued to raise people who can.

We celebrate the grace upon your life.

We celebrate your wisdom.

We celebrate your strength.

We celebrate the lives that have been changed through your ministry.

And today, our prayer is simple:

May the years ahead carry greater grace, greater wisdom, greater strength and greater impact. May God preserve you, refresh you and continue to use your life for His glory.

And from the altar came the Word.

Our Pastor, Dr. Mike Olime led us through another time of teaching, challenging us to look beyond what relationships look like on the surface and back to God's design for them.

As we celebrate the grace upon his life in this birthday week, we are grateful for the gift of a pastor who continues to teach, lead and point people back to God's purpose.
