BRIEF HISTORY:
In the evening of 3rd of October, 1997, the vision bearer, Great Prince Eromosele was in a Christian Music Programme in his former church in Benin when God ministered to him Genesis 8:19. He picked up his Bible and read the passage thus: “Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee.”
As he pondered the meaning of the passage, under the divin
e presence of that worship programme, the Lord said to him, “it’s time to leave this place”. His pastor later announced to the pastors, elders and leaders of the church that God had called brother Great Eromosele to higher service, whereupon they all prayed for him. The man of God and his wife, Chinelo were formally disengaged from their former church on 26th October, 1997, commissioned and released to go start a fresh work. On Sunday, November 2, 1997 New Wave Bible Church was born when the first service was held in the vision bearer’s sitting room in Benin.
