God Values Your Soul- Mark 8:36

You could gain everything the world offers-- money, fame, power, comfort- but if you lose your soul, that's if you live apart from God and die without salvation, you've truly lost everything.
The 'profit' of a man if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul is ZERO, because earthly things are temporary, while the soul is eternal.
Gaining the whole world, that's chasing after materials things or sinful pleasures at the cost of godly living is definitely not what God wants for you.
Jesus is calling us His followers to value eternal life above earthly rewards. He is saying that it is better to lose the world and keep your soul, than to gain the world and lose eternity.

What You Should Do
☑Check your priorities. Keep God first.
Many of us chase money, fame, or comfort, but forget our spiritual life. Jesus warns that success without God leaves the soul empty.
You might have a good job, a nice house or popularity but if your heart drifts from God, it's not true gain.
☑Value your soul more than things.
Your soul is eternal: everything else fades.
☑Don't compromise your faith
Sometimes people do wrong things just to get ahead- cheat, lie, or hurt others, but Mark 8:36 says, It's not worth it. No temporary success can make for a damaged soul.
☑Live with eternity in mind.
Jesus teaches us to make choices today that have eternal value.

Let me remind you:
The world can give you comfort, but only Christ can give you life.

My Prayer For You
May this remind you that your soul is more valuable than all riches of the world. May you be helped to seek God above everything else.
May the Lord keep your heart from chasing things that fade away, and teach you to treasure eternal things - love, faith and His presence. Amen🙏

Devotional: God’s Faithfulness Never Fails

Bible Verse:
Lamentations 3:22-23 “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”

When life feels uncertain, remember this — God’s faithfulness is not seasonal. It does not fade with time or circumstance. Every sunrise is a quiet reminder that He still keeps His word. Even when we fall short, He remains true. His mercy renews us daily so that we can rise again and walk in His grace.

Think about this:
How has God shown His faithfulness to me this year?

Prayer:

REWARDS Of FAITHFULNESS

Faithfulness is one of the most beautiful and important attributes in the Christian life--- both as a character of God and as a fruit of the Spirit in us.

Meaning of Faithfulness

Being steady, trustworthy, and loyal--- staying true to God, to His Word, and to what is right, no matter what happens.
Faithfulness comes from the word faith--- which means trust or belief.
So, faithfulness is showing your faith through consistent obedience and loyalty.

In Galatians 5:22, faithfulness is listed as a fruit of the Spirit.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness..... "

This means faithfulness comes in a believer's life through the work of the Holy Spirit. It's a sign that Christ is alive in you.

The Bible describes God as faithful.

In Psalm 145:13, it says, "The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made."
You can read that again.

In 2 Timothy 2:13, it says, " If we are faithless, He remains faithful."

This also means that God never fails, never changes, and always keeps His word.
God is completely trustworthy. Hallelujah!

Our Faithfulness to God

Being faithful to God means:
√ Obeying Him even when it's hard.
√ Trusting Him even when you can't understand.
√ Walking with Him even when you can't see the end of the road.
√ Remaining devoted and consistently committed to Him even in trials.

Faithfulness keeps you going where others are falling apart. It's consistency in love and obedience over time--- not just one moment of passion.

Abraham trusted God even when he didn't see how the promise made to him could happen. Romans 4:17-24

Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego stayed true to God and their faith even when threatened. Daniel 3; 6

Jesus the Christ, our Lord and Saviour is a perfect example of faithfulness. He was perfectly faithful to the Father even to death on the Cross. Hebrew 3:1-6

Reward of Faithfulness

The rewards of faithfulness are both earthly and eternal. On earth, God gives favour, peace and increase to those who remain true. In eternity, He promises crowns of glory and everlasting joy in His presence. Matthew 25:21, 1 Peter 5:4

Faithfulness may not always being quick recognition, but it always brings lasting reward.
Your labour of love is going to be rewarded.
Anyone who walks faithfully before God can be rest assured that nothing done in love for Him is ever in vain.
"For He who promised is faithful." Hebrew 10:23

This prayer is for you.

Lord, I thank You for being faithful to reward those who walk with You. Keep me steadfast, trusting that my labour in You is never wasted. Glory be to your name. Amen.

Living For Eternity Series 1 Volume 5

Devotional: The Peace That Lasts

Bible Verse: John 14:27

" I leave my peace with you. I give my peace to you.. I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be troubled. And do not be afraid."

Reflection

I will like you to know that true peace is not the absence of problems--- it's the presence of Jesus.
The world's peace depends on conditions, when things go right, when there's money in the bank, or when people treat us kindly. But that peace fades quickly.

The peace Jesus gives is different. It stays in your heart even when storms rise, because it's rooted in trust--- not circumstances. His peace calms anxiety, silences fear, and fills the soul with quiet confidence that God is in full control.

When life feels heavy, pause and remember; peace isn't something you find outside, it's something Christ plants within you.
You can lose many things, but never His peace if you keep your eyes on Him.

Prayer🙏

Father, thank You for giving me peace that never fades.
When life feels uncertain, remind me that You are near.
Fill my heart with calm trust in Your promise, and let Your peace guard my mind and spirit every day in Jesus name. Amen.

Think about this

The world's peace depends on what happens around me.
Christ's peace depends on who lives within me.
