The Edifying Assembly

The Edifying Assembly You are welcome to The Edifying Assembly:
A home where Christ is taught in simplicity and clarity, his Spirit given free course and his church edified.

We will not watch Nigeria decline and remain silent.

We have a voice, and we will use it in prayer.

We stand in the place of intercession and declare peace over our cities, wisdom over our leaders, safety over our people, and the advancement of the Gospel across our nation.

We believe God is at work in Nigeria, and we are deliberate about what we are asking, what we are declaring, and what we expect to see.

Join us this Tuesday as we lift our eyes to the hills and pray for Nigeria.

6:00 AM | Live on Facebook and YouTube

Tuesday is not routine.
Tuesday is a stand.

Today on Explaining Job's Calamity (Series 2 - Part 11)

Reading is part of the tools for spiritual growth.
Man is created for worship, and the time spent on worship must only increase.
The goal of the enemy is to pressure you to stop your worship of God, so we must pray through trials and temptations.

You must treat the passion to make ends meet secondary to the passion to sustain your relevance before God.

The men who receive Jesus are the ones who walk in dominion; the more we learn of Christ, the more we dominate our world with righteousness.

WHEN YOU ARE PROCESSING GRIEF, DON'T TAKE A STAND AGAINST GOD

Grief can make you ask difficult questions. It can make you angry, confused, and tempted to withdraw from God. But even in your pain, don't take a stand against the One who remains faithful.

Keep following God.

Keep praying.

Keep trusting Him, even when you don't understand what happened.

Don't allow your pain to become the lens through which you interpret God's character. Let God's Word inform your speech, not your grief. You may not have answers for everything you have lost, but you can still know that **God is good.**

In seasons of grief, it is easy to count what is missing. But deliberately count your blessings too. Remember what God has done, the people He has given you, the strength He has supplied, and the mercies that are still present.

Grieve honestly, but don't grieve without God.

Cry, ask questions, and acknowledge your pain, but keep your heart turned toward Him.

Your loss is real, but so is God's goodness.

Don't let what you lost make you forget who God is.
