This morning I want to encourage you in the Lord. There are just some times in our lives when we are down, frustrated, confused, tired, exhausted, afraid of what the future holds, clueless of tomorrow, unhappy and discouraged.
Maybe today you are in this category or you are just simply 'flat'.
Everything looks so dry, boring and unexciting. You are just coping & living everyday as it comes.
Maybe you are in a heart sinking debt, have a bad health condition, a dear one has a frightening diagnosis, your academics is not good, you've just been jilted, frustrated by constant quarrels in your marriage or relationship, you have unanswered questions, life may seem so cruel, don't give up, don't sink into depression because God is ready to help you. Let these words today soothe your heart.

Heb 13:6
So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?

4 reasons why you should be encouraged

1. God is faithful
Psa 92:15 [They are living memorials] to show that the Lord is upright and faithful to His promises; He is my Rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. [Rom 9:14].

God is faithful to all His promises to keep them. No matter what He will cause it to pass. Don't doubt his ability to perform what He said in His word concerning you. Don't let your situation dictate to you what your future holds. It does not matter how hard the issue looks, what matters is the greatness of your God. So ask yourself, how great is my God?

2. God will never leave you nor forsake you
You matter and mean so much to God. You may not feel like that but that is the truth. Your redemption cost God His only beloved son dying for you. Jesus suffered so much before and during his crucifixion just for you, just because he loves you. No greater love has a man than He laid down his life for his friends. Now, no matter what happens, sins, affliction etc, He can't give up on you or reject you. You are His. His love is greater than that of a true mother.

3. God will always make a way
Our God is the wonderful way maker. If He can make a way in the wilderness and sustain a whole nation there for 40 years, then He can chart a way for you. Have you ever heard of making a way through the sea? Parting the Red Sea to dry land for His people to escape from their enemies? No matter the source of your discouragement, always remember God will make a way for you.
He will deliver, set free, send help, be merciful, kind, gracious, loving and take care of you.

4. Your future and situation will turn out good
We get discouraged when our present situation seems overwhelming.
But God said, Jer 29:11
For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

Your final outcome is going to be beautiful, no matter what the present is. The final outcome is what matters most, and that part is what God has decided to take care of. God usually handles the most difficult part.
Once you believe and are sure of all these that God can and will do for you, your situation is not big enough to get you permanently discouraged. Even if you have being discouraged, now is the time to encourage yourself in the Lord and start rejoicing and get back to hoping in His mercies.
He will turn things around for your good. He will fill your mouth with singing, He will give you a new dance step because he will turn your captivity round and give you double for your trouble, the devil is a liar.

My prayer is that the Holy Spirit will comfort and encourage your heart in Jesus Name. Amen!
Have a glorious Day ahead..

GODS GOODNESS IS COMING

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Psalm 27:13

Despondency is a tool the devil uses to steal people’s vision. He injects this poison into a man’s heart through the experience of loss and suffering. That today is bad and the future looks bleak does not mean that your tomorrow will be terrible. As long as you are in Christ, you can rest assured that your tomorrow will be alright. Don’t give up on your vision! Even if the devil stole a particular blessing from you, don’t give him your vision. Dry up your tears because you need clear eyes to see new opportunities that God is giving to you. In fact, the avenue to your recovery can be around you as we speak, but as long as your eyes are flooded with tears, you will see only the situation and not the opportunities. Has the enemy taken everything from you like he did to job? That could just mean that like Job, you too are going through a trial of your faith. Don’t give up on God! Don’t let the devil take your joy, because the joy of the Lord is your strength. The knowledge that God is with you in that particular situation, and that the devil has clear boundaries with regards to the extent and timing of your trial should comfort your heart (Job 1:12 & 2:6). Make sure that like Job, after your trial, you emerge as gold. In addition to putting an end to tears, you also need to encourage yourself in the Lord (1st Samuel 30:6). To succeed in life and in the Christian race set before you, don’t be surprised that in the midst of certain situations, the things or people you thought you would draw great motivation from could end up becoming the source of great discouragement.

In 1st Samuel 30:4-6, after David had wept over his losses, he encouraged himself in the Lord. This shows that he remembered God’s unlimited ability after he had lost all hope in his own ability. Hope and strength came to him after this. No wonder he confessed in Psalms 27:13 that:

“I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.”

David went through situations that swallowed his hope and made him despair even of life, but when he remembered who God is, what He had done and what He could do, his hope came alive again. He therefore declared that in spite of his current unpleasant situation, he would still experience the goodness of the Lord while alive, and it was so. Take courage, believe and confess that the negative situation you are currently experiencing will not kill you. Don’t allow it rob you of your tomorrow. You shall see God’s goodness in the land of the living in Jesus’ Name.
What you focus on in the time of trial will determine its effect on you. If you focus on your loss, you will lose strength, but if you focus on God, you will gain strength and hope.
The Book of Esther in the Bible teaches a wondrous truth. Amazingly, God is not mentioned even once in the entire Book. Yet, we see God's sovereignty and work throughout the entire Book. The lesson is simple—When you can't see the hand of God, trust the heart of God.
I can see A NEW DAWN...
Have a great weekend....

Samson had an extra ordinary gift, oil and anointing. which we all have. He was on top of his mates, the leader in his days and backbone of the church. but Samson had a weakness. Lust and immorality. He liked anything in skirt and went after the beautiful women in his time. Though through him God did mighty things. More could have been done if his temple contained only the Holy Spirit. Immorality is what is stealing, killing and destroying our God given Glory. Lust, greed, slander, backbiting, toe stepping. The enemy's useful weapon which has slain thousands. Four things to notice about Samson's downfall to see how our Glory can be stolen and a shift of destiny. He finally met his fall after so many women. First his hair (glory) was cut off. Second his eyes were removed (his vision and foresight), Three, he became an entertainer and ground corn for his enemies (mocked at and a disgrace as a leader) and lastly though he repented he died with his enemies. The devil really comes to steal, kill and destroy. Dont wait till you are totally destroyed before you turn back from sin. No amount of prayer or seed can save you.Your annointing can't save you, only The master, Jesus can. Not only sexual or morally incorrect way of living but anything we won't do while Jesus is around. The forces of darkness are not playing they are mean and mean business.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR HEAVEN

It is difficult to make it to Heaven without a conscious preparation.
Heaven won’t come by accident or by chance; it is a prepared
place for a prepared people (Luke 1:17c).
In our preparation for our Heavenly eternity there is a need to
understand some of the secrets of the 5 wise virgins as
documented in Matthew 25. Please, take time to read that passage
of the scripture and then examine the following things.

SECRETS OF THE WISE VIRGINS
1. THEY MADE CONSCIOUS PREPARATION; NO ROOM FOR
ASSUMPTIONS OR EXCUSES
They were consciously prepared. They went the extra distance to
be sure things were both in other and in place. They were not
assuming the bridegroom would understand their situation if they
ran out of oil.
The same way, if you will make Heaven you must make conscious
preparation. You will have to go extra miles to ensure nothing can
compromise your journey. You will need to make out more time for
prayers, more time for fellowshipping, more time for fasting, more
time for God, and more time for the things of God. If man has less
time or no time for God on earth, certainly God will have no place
for him in eternity. The devil has places in hell for those who have
no place for God.

2. THEY MAINTAINED FRIENDSHIP, FELLOWSHIP AND
FOLLOWERSHIP WITH LIKE-MINDED PEOPLE
The wise virgins each located one another and they stuck together
as a team. It was not competition that made them stand apart
from the remaining 5, it was preparation. The foolish virgins were
also a category of “Christians”, but the 5 wise virgins went for
association that helped their preparations for Heaven. They shared
together and helped one another and made it together.
The same way, in the journey to Heaven you need certain people
who will help you grow and prepare better. You need people who
will gracefully look at you and tell you where and when you are
going wrong. You need people who share same passion for
holiness, for God and for eternity. You don’t need someone who
will implicate you in eternity and send you to hell. If you are in such
a relationship, move away!

3. THEY VALUED THEIR PREPARATION ABOVE PLEASING PEOPLE
The wise virgins refused to give the foolish ones out of their oil.
They were not being selfish; they only valued their preparation
above pleasing people. There are some people who want to please
men at the expense of their eternity. They want people to speak
well about them so they compromise. They want to be on the good
records of people even though it meant losing their names from
the Book of Life. They value keeping their earthly connections
above their Heavenly destination. They are kind to people at the
expense of their eternity.

CONCLUSION
What is the state of your preparation for Heaven? Not to be
prepared for Heaven is to be prepared for hell. Eternity could be
just a step away. The best way to live is to live ready for eternity –
to accept Jesus and stop sinning. Grace is available to anyone
who wants to make this decision.

Stop pretending to be who you are not to make a few people happy while you aren't. Those whom God wants to be in your life will be there. Have faith in God and yourself...

Jesus, the carpenter of Nazareth, changed the wood of the cross into the door to life. That is the very heart of the Good News – the cross has the power to transform us. Minus is turned to plus, negative to positive. Through the cross, darkness changes to light, death to life, hate to love, chains to freedom, fear to faith, despair to joy, brokenness to wholeness, and hell to heaven. Good evening...

In the spiritual realm (which is the realm that counts) Goliath and David were not at the same level. Don’t rate yourself by your physical size or status. You are a spirit; it is your spirituality that counts not your physicality. Look at things from the spiritual side. Approach things spiritually. You and that boss are not at the same level. If only Goliath knew who he wanted to fight, he would have thought twice. It wasn’t David; it was the God behind David. Anyone who writes off your life because of your size has ignored that MIGHT behind your life and will face whatever happens to those who dare God. Always remember, that battle is not about you…it is about the one living inside of you. You will overcome! Glory!!

Your certificate is not meant to pitch you against your creator. God did not send you to school with the plan to plant you in the camp of the devil. Don't let your career/job/passion be the reason men and women will end in hell. You cannot shut the door of Heaven against anyone and expect that same door to open to you IF YOU DO NOT REPENT. You cannot be running a night club and expect Heaven to be smiling at you. Men cannot be groaning in hell because of you and you think Heaven is beaming with smiles on you. REPENT AND BE CONVERTED!!!

CONCERNING GRACE
Grace comes in levels. A man’s measure of grace determines his level of manifestation. The apostles carried grace, but Apostle Paul carried another dimension of grace and with this his dimension of operation and manifestation was something else (1 Cor. 15:9-10; Gal. 2:9). Even Apostle Peter acknowledged that Paul was on another level (2 Peter 3:15).
Still on grace; a lion roared at Samson and he killed it. Fighting the lion was a level of grace. A lion came along David’s path and he killed it. That was a level of grace. But for Daniel, lions saw him and kept quiet. That was another level of grace! There is a level of grace you will have to fight to conquer, and there is another level ‘they’ will see you and hold their peace.
The grace you carry determines the manifestations you will see in your life and ministry.
PRAYER:
Lord, let grace increase in my life in Jesus’ name.

His Grace covers my error and colours my effort.
Enjoy multiplied grace today and always. Maranatha

When you carry God, you carry something heavier than all the gold in the world. You are a loaded entity on a journey to a place called destiny. You are greatness going somewhere to happen. You are too loaded to be limited by any situation or person. When you carry God, you carry what humanity needs both in life and for eternity.
Henceforth, let no man despise you; you are not your size...you are who God says you are. Heaven measures you, not by your age, but by His grace. Enjoy grace!

STANDING BY GRACE

SCRIPTURE: Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. – Romans 5:1-2.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Grace is the outcome of Christ’s ordeals and sacrifice at Calvary.

There are two vital things that make people stand in life – Grace and faith in God.
Grace is a vital tool that makes the child of God to stand on a solid ground; outside grace, it is impossible for a child of God to stand.

What then is grace? Grace is God’s riches at Christ’s expense. This means that grace is what God sacrificed Christ to make available to us. God’s grace is designed to cover our errors and colour our efforts for maximum results and outstanding existence. The grace of God, therefore, amplifies our strength and downplays our weakness.

Grace is also seen as unmerited favour.
Now, in what situation does the grace of God help us to stand?
1.Grace make us stand in uprightness (Matthew 24:12, Titus 2:11-12)
2.Grace makes us stand in the faith, making us not to give up on God. (1 Corinthians 16:13).
3.Grace makes us stand when all others are on the floor (Psalms 91:7-8). It is grace that makes your case different.
4.Grace makes us stand in the face of enemy confrontation (Ephesians 6:10-13).
It is not by strength or willpower that one escapes the traps and confrontations of the enemy, but by grace. Grace, therefore, is the secret of Supernatural exemption and miraculous deliverance from troubles.

Grace is accessible by relevant keys. One of the keys to accessing grace is faith (Romans 5:2). Faith is a trigger for the release of grace.

Remember this: Grace is the outcome of Christ’s ordeals and sacrifice at Calvary.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Ask God for the manifestation of abundant grace in your life.
2. Deploy the grace of God on your life for effective kingdom service.

PRAYER: O LORD, I ask for greater dimension of Your grace. Help me to connect with Your grace released on Calvary, in Jesus’ Name.
