CHRIST’S EPISTLE

ELISHA’S INSTRUCTION THAT BROKE POVERTY

In Christ, we live, move, and have our being.

Welcome to the month of April, The power of God will cause a necessary change ordained for your life.

II Kings 4:1-7; A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.” So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.” Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.” So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.” NKJV

This is the case of a widow of a man of God. The late husband served prophet Elisha.

The late husband left debts for the family, and the creditors were demanding the widow to pay back the money, but she didn’t have it.

The creditors threatened to make her sons slaves to pay for the debts of their father, so she ran to prophet Elisha.

Prophet Elisha asked her if she had anything at all; she was looking outside for help, but the prophet was turning her attention back to herself.

Many times, we look outside of ourselves for our desired solutions when what we need is in and with us.

There must be something I have that I am blind to. Therefore, oh Lord, open my eyes to what I have that I am not seeing.

Let us Pray: Father, thank you for your Word, open my eyes to what I have that can solve my challenges in Jesus Name, Amen.

CHRIST’S EPISTLE

GLORY IN JACOB AND THE BELIEVER – LABOUR

In Christ, we live, move, and have our being.

Welcome to another beautiful day the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad today.

One of the earliest uses of glory in the bible is from the Hebrew word “KABOD”.

In the Old King James Version, glory is used plainly – Genesis 31:1; And he heard the words of Laban’s sons, saying, Jacob hath taken away all that was our father’s; and of that which was our father’s hath he gotten all this glory. KJV

We have been looking at how Jacob became wealthy from point zero.

In our last edition, we saw that God encountered Jacob at Bethel and confirmed the covenant blessing upon him.

I also showed us through Galatians chapter three that we also carry the same covenant blessing as believers.

Jacob or the believer carrying the covenant blessing doesn’t automatically translate to wealth.

There must be a place for strategic labour before wealth can be worked out.

I am emphasising strategic labour because Jacob laboured sincerely under laban for years and got nothing.

Genesis 30:29-30; So Jacob said to him, “You know how I have served you and how your livestock has been with me. For what you had before I came was little, and it has increased to a great amount; the Lord has blessed you since my coming. And now, when shall I also provide for my own house?” NKJV

Genesis 31:6-7; And you know that with all my might, I have served your father. Yet your father has deceived me and changed my wages ten times, but God did not allow him to hurt me. NKJV

Labouring is an important step in the mathematics of wealth acquisition, but when we return tomorrow, you will notice that Jacob became strategic to become wealthy.

Labouring without the right strategy is fetching water into a basket.

Confess these words; I am the glory of God living on earth. I am not searching and begging for glory because I am in glory and glory is in me. I receive and obey divine instructions to physically express the glory of God in me.

GLORY IN CHRIST

GNT: God’s plan is to make known his secret to his people, this rich and glorious secret which he has for all peoples. And the secret is that Christ is in you, which means that you will share in the glory of God.

Every believer in Christ has been grafted into Christ so that all the glory in Christ flows into the believer to make him glorious.

I would like you to notice the prayer of Jesus Christ to the father concerning the believer in John chapter seventeen.

John 17:22-23
I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one: I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me. AMPC

Jesus has given us the same glory the father gave him.

The glory Jesus gave us is to enable and ensure that we are one with the father just as Jesus is one with the father.

The glory makes us all united as one drawing life from the same source and functioning from and in the same spirit; Jesus in us and the father in Jesus so that we may be perfectly united in the father as one.

Christ is in the father.
The believer is in Christ.
The believer, Christ, and the father are one.

Our faith in Christ Jesus grafts us into the glory of God so that every believer is in Christ and Christ is in God, and we are one glorious mystery on earth.

Understand this truth, dwell in this consciousness, breath this truth in and out, confess and pray it until you are grow into the fullness of the physical reality of the glory of God because this is your destiny.

Grow from glory to glory in every area of your life in Jesus Name. Amen!

GROWING IN THE GLORY OF GOD THROUGH PRAYER 3

And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit. AMPC

Jude 1:20
But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit. AMPC

Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 14:5; Now I wish that you might all speak in [unknown] tongues, but more especially [I want you] to prophesy (to be inspired to preach and interpret the divine will and purpose). He who prophesies [who is inspired to preach and teach] is greater (more useful and more important) than he who speaks in [unknown] tongues, unless he should interpret [what he says], so that the church may be edified and receive good [from it]. AMPC

Apostle Paul said it's better to prophesy since prophecy ministers to others, but he still wished that everyone spoke in tongues because it has its own place.

When we pray in tongues, we pray by the enablement of the Spirit of God within us that has filled us; 1 Corinthians 14:14; For if I pray in an [unknown] tongue, my spirit [by the Holy Spirit within me] prays, but my mind is unproductive [it bears no fruit and helps nobody]. AMPC

Apostle Paul never encouraged anyone to do away with praying in the Spirit. He went ahead to encourage praying and even singing in the Spirit: 1 Corinthians 14:15; Then what am I to do? I will pray with my spirit [by the Holy Spirit that is within me], but I will also pray [intelligently] with my mind and understanding; I will sing with my spirit [by the Holy Spirit that is within me], but I will sing [intelligently] with my mind and understanding also. AMPC

Praying in the Spirit, which is praying in tongues, is an essential part of a believer’s life and instrumental in growing in glory.

Every believer should pray in tongues to build up their spirit daily.

God’s plan is for every believer to share in the glory of God.

Praying in the Spirit refers to praying in tongues or the language of the Spirit.

Praying in tongues is not the same as the gifts of the Spirit.

The gifts of the Spirit are the empowerment of the Spirit upon a believer to minister to others; the power of the Spirit passes through the believer to solve the issues in the lives of other people.

The gifts of the Spirit doesn’t directly minister to the person with the gift because it was designed to bless others.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit which is accompanied by speaking in tongues is designed to commune with God and build the one praying in tongues; it’s not designed to function as a gift therefore it doesn’t minister to others like the gifts.

Praying in tongues communes with God while the gifts minister to others.

Tongues are involved with the gifts of speaking in diverse kinds of tongues. This is an enablement to speak different kinds of earthly language, which was never consciously learned.

The Spirit enabled the person to speak a language he didn’t learn so he could pass a message to the person in his own earthly dialect. This is ministering to others.

The gift of interpretation of diverse kinds of tongues is the Spirit of God enabling a person to interpret what has been spoken in other tongues, the person interprets it in a general language so that everyone can understand what the Spirit of God has said. This is ministring to others.

You will agree that the utterance of speaking in tongues is completely different from the gifts I just described.

Every believer doesn’t have the gift of the Spirit, but every believer can be baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

Every believer should pray in tongues to build up their spirit daily.

Praying in the Spirit refers to praying in tongues or the language of the Spirit.

When believers are baptized in the Spirit, the initial evidence is that they speak in other tongues as the Spirit gives them utterance.

I want you to notice that it's the Spirit that gives the utterance, but it’s the believer that voices the utterance.

Many times, the Holy Spirit baptize a believer, gives him utterance but the believer is waiting for the Holy Spirit to also speak out the utterance; this is not how it works, it’s the believer that must speak out the utterance.

The utterance the Holy Spirit gives and we speak is the language of the Spirit, and when we speak it, we are speaking in tongues, and we are also praying in tongues.

I Corinthians 14:2
NKJV - For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit, he speaks mysteries.

AMPC - For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding].

PEV - If somebody talks in a special language, they are only talking to God, not talking to people. Nobody can understand them. The Holy Spirit is getting them to talk about secret things, but nobody can understand what they are saying. PEV

This experience is completely different from the gifts of the Spirit because this experience is meant for everyone to commune with God and grow himself into the fullness of the glory of God.

If you are Born Again but have not been baptized by the Holy Spirit, I encourage you to desire it by asking Jesus to baptize you with the Holy Spirit.

When you desire the Holy Ghost baptism, believe that the experience is meant for you and expect it.

Jesus Christ will baptize you. The Holy Spirit will fill you and grant you utterance, and you will speak in tongues.

THE BELIEVER AND THE GLORY OF GOD.

NLT: For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.

Glory is a word that describes the fullness of the invisible God in all His colours.

God’s plan is for every believer to share in the glory of God.

The moment anyone becomes Born Again, he is also birthed as a child of glory.

The same process that births him in Christ Jesus also births him into glory.

God is Spirit.
God is glory.
The Spirit of God is the same glory of God.

Wherever the Spirit of God dwells, the glory of God automatically dwells.

When the Spirit of God births, the glory of God is part of the birthing process.

Everyone Born Again was birthed by the Spirit of God, therefore is birthed by the glory of God.

The Born Again believer carries the glory of God inside him as Christ and upon him as the active presence of God; he is full of the glory of God.

The believer is full of the glory of God and he is inside the full glory of God; this is the status of the believer and the glory of God.

Our life is hidden in Christ and Christ is hidden in God as the status of the believer.

The believer must believe this truth, appropriate this truth and insist on this truth as his reality.

The believer must stop seeing, recognising and describing himself from his life status before he became Born Again because everything changed the moment he became Born Again.

The moment he became Born Again, the person he used to be died and was buried in Jesus.

The moment he confessed the Lordship of Jesus, the person he used to be was automatically crucified on the cross with Jesus and buried with Jesus; that old life was deposed in hell and that was its end.

The believer must see this truth, believe this truth, appropriate and insist on this truth as his reality.

The believer isn’t looking for glory because glory gave birth to him therefore, he is a glorious being.

Glory is a word that describes the fullness of the invisible God in all His colours.

God’s plan is for every believer to share in the glory of God.

God never intended the believer to live his daily life without glory.

God never intended that the believer would be going up and down in search of glory for his life.

God, through Jesus Christ, brought His own glory for the believer to share.

Yes, the believer in Christ Jesus has the right and privilege to share the glory of God.

The moment you confess Jesus Christ as Lord, your spirit becomes one with the Spirit of God, this is an indication that you have been born again and this time into the family of God therefore, you are now one with God.

God is Spirit. Therefore, you are born of the Spirit, and you become one with the Spirit of God.

Glory is God and the same with the Spirit of God therefore now that you are born of the Spirit and have been made to be one with the Spirit of God, you have been born into glory and you are now glorious.

Apostle Paul explained in his letter to the church in Rome that it’s sin that made man short of glory or empty without glory.

Now that Jesus Christ has paid the price for sin, glory can now be received by everyone who accepts that Jesus Christ paid their price and they submit to the government of Jesus Christ.

The moment anyone accepts and submits to the government of Jesus Christ by confessing the Lordship of Jesus Christ over their lives, they become automatic partakers of the glory of God.

The believer doesn’t beg for glory because the moment he submits to the government of Jesus Christ, the life he received is called glory.

The believer in Christ Jesus is in glory and is glorious.

The glory of God is resident in the believer, and the believer is a resident in glory. Therefore, the believer is glorious.

The believer’s nature and life is glory; he is not short/ in want of glory. He is full of the glory of God and dwelling in the fullness of the glory of God.

Meditation of this truth brings you into the right conviction, and confession of this truth activates the reality of the glory of God upon your life.

Meditation will plant the truth and ensure it grows roots and becomes established as your life.

Confession will water it until glory is visible in your physical reality.

Let Us Pray: Father, thank you for your Word, open my eyes, ears and heart to your glory, I accept that you paid the price for me to live as your glory and in glory here on earth, i submit to your government over my life, I yield to the leading of the Spirit of God upon my life and I live daily confessing that I am your glory resident upon the earth expressing your glory to other men on earth in Jesus Name, Amen.

GLORY AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD.

Welcome to another beautiful day the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad today.

Welcome to another new month of the year 2026. This month of March will bring you into a higher realm of glory.

Colossians 1:27
GNT: God’s plan is to make known his secret to his people, this rich and glorious secret which he has for all peoples. And the secret is that Christ is in you, which means that you will share in the glory of God.

NLT: For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.

Glory is a word that describes the fullness of the invisible God in all His colours.

The expression and manifestation of glory are visible, but glory is spiritual and invisible because God is spiritual and invisible.

This means that when Glory dwells within a person, the initial peeiod doesn’t seem so, but when it goes through its gestation period, there will be a visible expression and manifestation.

The Spirit of God upon man is the Glory of God upon man.

The first man was created in the Glory of God, the image and likeness of God in which God created him was the glory of God. The Spirit of God upon Adam conveyed the image and likeness of God upon him as the glory of God.

When man sinned in the garden of Eden, he became short of the Glory of God because in sin, he was separated from the Spirit of God, which impacts the glory of God.

When Jesus was to be born, the Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary, and she conceived. The Holy Spirit conveyed the glory of God upon Jesus as recorded in John 1:14; ,,,we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. NLT

When we confess the Lordship of Jesus over our lives, John chapter three tells us that the Spirit of God gives birth to us as one with the Spirit of God. This means that we are the same glory as our father.

Every believer must understand that Glory is spiritual and imparted by Spirit of God; when the Spirit of God is absent, glory will be absent.

This is constant when you look through the bible, every expression of the Spirit of God reveals the glory of God; 2 Corinthians 3:18, ...The Lord, who is the Spirit, makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. NLT

Let Us Pray: Father, thank you for your Word, open my eyes, ears, and heart to your glory and cause me to become your glorious expression on earth in Jesus Name, Amen.

CHRIST’S EPISTLE

FAITH AND THE WORD OF GOD 2b

In Christ, we live, move, and have our being.

Welcome to another beautiful day the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad today.

Romans 10:17; So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. NKJV

We saw yesterday that the Word of God comes through revelation. We talked about Prophecy.

There are other mediums revelation express himself;

Trance – Peter received the word through a trance.

Acts 10:9-16; The next day, as they went on their journey and drew near the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray, about the sixth hour. Then he became very hungry and wanted to eat; but while they made ready, he fell into a trance and saw heaven opened and an object like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and let down to the earth. In it were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air. And a voice came to him, “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.” But Peter said, “Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean.” And a voice spoke to him again the second time, “What God has cleansed you must not call common.” This was done three times. And the object was taken up into heaven again. NKJV

Angel – Cornelius received the word from an Angel

Acts 10:3-6; About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, “Cornelius!” And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, “What is it, lord?” So he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God. Now send men to Joppa, and send for Simon whose surname is Peter. He is lodging with Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea. He will tell you what you must do.” NKJV

The Lord – Apostle Paul received the word of the Lord from a personal visitation from Jesus Christ.

Acts 23:11; But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.” NKJV

Beloved, there are other ways God brings His Word to His children by revelation, but for want of space, I have mentioned a few.

The Word of God is necessary for faith to be supplied and activated.

Faith is necessary for the manifestation of the will of God upon our lives.

What we do with the Word of God is very important as this transfers the word of God from spiritual to physical substance and from what we can not see to what we can see physically.

CHRIST’S EPISTLE

FAITH 2

In Christ we live, move and have our being.

Welcome to another beautiful day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad today.

Hebrews 11:1; Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. NKJV

Romans 10:17; So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. NKJV

We saw yesterday that the word of God is the source of faith.

When the Word of God comes to us, what we get is revelation which produce faith and instruction which works out or brings into earthly materiality our faith.

The word of God reveals what Jesus Christ has done for us which we can hold as substance and we can present as evidence.

The Word of God brings us instructions to obey which works out our faith from hope to physical reality.

When you encounter the Word of God, you must be sensitive to receive revelation and instruction.

Jesus said the words that I speak to you are spirit and life.

Apostle Paul writing to the church in Hebrews chapter four verse ten stated that the Word of God is alive and powerful.

The Word of God is not merely a statement but the Spirit and life of God hidden in words and letters.

The Spirit snd life of God in Words and letters brings us revelation and instruction that births and materializes faith.

When God spoke to Sarah about Isaac, all God expected from Sarah was for her to acquire the faith that the word delivers.

Mary also believed the Word of God from the Angel and she conceived Jesus without the involvement of the normal natural process of child birth.

Beloved, take the Word and believe it and it will give you your own miracle.
