LEADERSHIP Rule : Loyalty Matters in God’s Work
You cannot lead God’s work well with a team ( person ) that is not loyal.
In ministry, loyalty is more important than talent.
Someone can be very gifted, educated, or experienced, but if their heart is not with the vision, they can cause more harm than good.
When people are not loyal, they often use their skills to oppose, delay, or weaken the work instead of building it.
This creates confusion and stress for leaders and slows down the mission.
This can be dangerous to the whole Team no matter how innocent things appear.
In church and mission work, working together matters.
If people are secretly supporting another vision, another leader, or another agenda while still serving in the ministry, the work will not move forward.
God’s work needs people who are walking in the same direction. SAME DIRECTION
Or some team members prove they know much more than the Team Lead and can't submit to his leadership. -This is dangerous to the work
Nothing makes a pastor or mission leader look weak like having disloyal team members.
The problem is usually not leadership—it is lack of alignment.
If you no longer believe in the vision of the church or mission, the right thing to do is to leave PEACEFULLY
Loyal followers are more USEFUL than just the gifted followers..
Why‽
You can easily Teach -Train a loyal follower to gain skills that can increase his productivity.
But a gifted but disloyal follower is hard to train .
Staying behind to complain, Resist Leadership, or frustrate the work is not right and does not help anyone. This shows you don't fear God..the father of the body of Christ
And For Leaders:
Being kind does not mean ignoring problems. How long will you ignore the tiring problem?
There are times to pray and wait, but there are also times to act firmly.
You are not wrong to fire a persistent disloyal team member. It is part of leadership rules
I repeat, when someone continues to show disloyalty and refuses to change, it is sometimes best to let them go ( FIRE) so the ministry can have peace and move forward.
Even Jesus says to cut down a fruitless vine
This is not about being harsh,as some people will call it.
It is about protecting the work God has given to the church.
You can't afford to allow sentiment destroy the work.
God’s work grows best when leaders and followers share:
1.The same vision
2.The same heart
3.The same direction
Despite 'individual' differences...
Loyalty in ministry is not blind obedience. It is intentional.
It is faithfully working together for God’s purpose.
Without it, even the best plans will struggle.
