๐Ÿ’ฅ12 BAD HABITs TO AVOID IN CHURCH

1. Chatting and receiving calls during church service โœŒ๏ธ Your salvation is questionable

2. Folding your hands when your pastor is teaching. You are telling him/her that what he is saying is not worth writing .๐Ÿ˜˜ Are you sure you want to grow Spiritually?

3. Refusing to sit where the ushers direct you to sit, it shows you are disorderly.๐Ÿ˜˜ Feeling too big over to be instruct.

4. Running out to pick calls with your phone ringing out so loud. This is absolute madness.๐Ÿ˜˜ You need genuine repentance

5. *Lateness to church.* Some people have this as an unbreakable habit. ๐Ÿ™† Your service to God is hanging if you still doing this.

6. Starring at every people's faces you see and making them uncomfortable.๐Ÿ˜˜ Only look at Jesus don't be carry away

7. Sleeping in church during sermon ๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿ™† weldone! Remember you can't do this in the presence of your village king, talk more of the presence of God

8. Sitting down during prayer or praise session. This make you look very odd. You also demoralize the service coordinators. The demon will just be laughing at you, and be like see who claim is ready for God

9. Looking at the clock on the wall and then the watch on your wrist and then looking at the pastor's face insinuating that he should round up. But when you go to a party you go early and stay till the end, like football Matches.

10. Borrowing things like phone chargers, pen etc and leaving with them claiming you forgot.

11. Always leaving the church before closure for no particular appointment, making others who choose to stay till the end of service look over zealous.

12. Gathering outside the church to discuss while service is going on.

This is New Year, Work on yourself and allow God to do the Rest.

TOPIC: GIDEON: A STUDY IN SPIRITUAL WARE-FARE - part2

INTRODUCTION:
We began the study of the life history of Gideon by nothing that the wages of sin is death: spiritual, financial and otherwise. And that God calls the things that are not as though they were, calling a fearful young man a โ€œmighty man of valourโ€. Today, we shall continue to study the life of that โ€œmighty man of Valourโ€ may the Lord bless richly as we do so in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. OBEDIENCE PLUS A WORTHY OFFERING EQUALS AN
ACCEPTABLE OFFERING.

Gideon requested a sign from the Divine visitor: that he be allowed to offer his hospitality. All great men and women of the Bible are hospitable people. However, it is not only their worthy offerings that make them acceptable to God, it is their obedience to God in all-things that is mixed with their offerings. If God has to choose, He will prefer obedience to any offering at any time.

Judg. 6:17-27; Gen. 18:1-5; Gen. 19:1-3; I Kings 17:8-16; II Kings 4:8-17; Acts 9:36-41; Heb. 13:2; Gal. 6:9-10; Gen. 4:3-7; Gen. 18:6-8; I Sam. 15:22.

2. OUR GOD IS A GOD OF PEACE WHO TURNS WEAK PEOPLE
TO STRONG ONES.

Gideon was scared that he would die because he had seen
God but our God of peace assured him that all would be well. Then Gideon demonstrated another trait common to all spiritual giants: he built an altar and worshipped God. When God told him pull down the altar of Baal, he obeyed; though he did it at night out of fear.

GIDEON: A STUDY IN SPIRITUAL WARFARE โ€“ PART 1

INTRODUCTION:
The life story of Gideon is full of many beautiful lessons for the Christian soldiers. He was the case of an ordinary man who became a supernatural figure; a fearful man who became a spiritual giant. We also see in him how the Lord of hosts fight His own battles and of course the dangers facing every successful Christian and how to overcome them, may the Lord bless us tremendously as we study at His feet in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH: SPIRITUAL, FINANCIAL AND OTHERWISE

The story of Gideon begins with Israel in serious trouble. Their austerity was perennial and fear clothed at every heart. Things were not so before. Israel was once upon a time on the side of the Lord but they forsook God and trouble came As it was in the beginning, is nowโ€ฆ

2. GOD CALLS THINGS THAT ARE NOT AS THOUGH THEY WERE

However, God is a merciful God. He never totally forsakes His people. In every Nation and situation, God always finds someone after His own heart that He could turn to a deliverer. Once He has found such a one, He makes him what He wanted and backs him up to the full, may be you are such a one.

THE BOOK OF REVELATION-PART 27: REV. 18

INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we learnt about the bride of the Antichrist, Babylon then great, mother of harlots, consisting of all religious people who do not believe in the true Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We saw how the Babylon Cult invaded the Church of Rome and took it over and saw the prophecy about its ultimate destr1uction by the Antichrist himself. Now we go on to study Rev. 18 and we pray that God will quicken our understanding as we study in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. COME OUT OR PERISH: IT IS HOLINESS OR HELL

There is a religious system called Babylon and there is a city called Babylon. Both are evil. The antichrist will destroy the former, God will destroy the latter. But before God does, He gave an invitation as usual to as many as will listen to flee and escape for their lives. Godโ€™s invitation is simple: accept holiness and miss hell.

Rev. 18, Isa. 13:19-22; Jer. 50:39; Jer. 51:37; Gen. 19:12-14; Num. 16:23-26; Isa. 48:20; Jer. 50:8; Jer. 51:45; II Cor. 6:14-15; I Tim. 5:22: Rom. 12:2; Pro. 16:18; Is. 3:16-17.

2. WEALTH IS USELESS ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT

Bible Scholars are divided on whether or not the Ancient Babylon is going to bee rebuilt before it is finally destroyed. Some believe it will be, some believe that Rome is the New Babylon. Whichever is the case, the ultimate destruction of the wealthy Babylon is going to cause a lot of anguish to kings, merchants, importers and exporters of the whole world.

Isa. 13:6-7; I Tim. 6:7; Pr. 14:32; Ps. 23:4
