For indeed we have had the good news [of salvation] preached to us, just as the Israelites also [when the good news of the promised land came to them]; but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not united with faith [in God] by those who heard.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful.

Taking the time to study the word of God is of utmost importance for any believer seeking to operate in Rhema. The Lord has a specific word that is meant for each of us to thrive.

The significance of Rhema word for believers lies in its ability to enable us to operate at our very best, rather than relying on guesswork or trial and error.

To receive Rhema word from God, we need to engage in the following:

1. Meditation (Joshua 1:8)
The more we meditate on something, the more it becomes a reality to us. The Word of God, when we think on it more, speak it, and visualize it, will bring about its manifestation in our lives (Hebrews 4:1-2).

2. Praying in the Spirit (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
When we come to Christ, we have the potential to receive Rhema, but praying in the Spirit is how we activate it (Matthew 13:11; 1 Corinthians 2:6-11).
