The church of Pentecost, PIWC Abuja, on Sunday, April 14, 2024, was honoured to receive a visitation from Pastor Agyare and Mrs Felicia Wiseborn.

As part of his visitation, he ministered to the congregation a sermon on our identity in Christ titled “Who are you?”, quoting from Romans 8:14-17, and Ephesians 1:13-14, He admonished believers to live boldly in their new identity as rightfully adopted sons of God through the price paid by Jesus on the cross. In Christ, our identity has changed from the old to the new. We must therefore live in the realities of our new identity, he charged.

In his concluding remarks, Ps Wiseborn charged the church to continue in the good works based on our identity in Christ.

APOTOLIC VISITATION

The National Head of the Church of Pentecost in Nigeria, Apostle Nathaniel O. Ajayi, as part of his visitation to the churches in the Northern part of the country, paid and visit and fellowshipped with PIWC Abuja on Sunday, 10 December 2023.

During a sermon ministration titled “Repositioning Yourself for Understanding”, he admonished members to seek the face of our master, God, for understanding in all things just as David did in Psalm 119:125-128. To this end, He also emphasised the need to for Christians to come before God with a simple heart and in all humility and to be prepared to submit one’s will to God to receive His understanding as we go through the vicissitudes of life.

He enjoined members of the church to do all they can in all circumstance to get understanding as the principal first step to achieving their God given purpose.

Apostle Ajayi paid working visits to the Jos Area, Lafia, Mena, Kaduna and Emmanuel Assemblies, strengthening and encouraging the church to hold fast to the faith.
