Pentecost Sunday: LIFE IN THE SPIRIT
Come, Holy Spirit, fill our hearts with your wisdom, that we may choose God above worldly pleasures. Grant us understanding to know your will in difficult moments, and counsel to make right decisions. Give us fortitude in suffering and trials, and knowledge to recognize your presence in creation and in others. Teach us piety, that we may love and serve God and neighbour faithfully. Fill us with fear of the Lord, that we may avoid sin and remain close to you. May your fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, generosity, gentleness, faithfulness, modesty, self-control and chastity shine through our lives always.

Saturday, Seventh Week of Easter: SCRIPTURE AND TRADITION
“Not all that Jesus did and said is contained exhaustively in Sacred Scripture, for Scripture itself attests to this. Let us hold firmly to the traditions we have received. Let us not be deceived by those who say, ‘Scripture alone.’”

Friday, Seventh Week of Easter: RENEWED LOVE
Loving Jesus and remaining faithful to his will is often difficult and requires many sacrifices; hence, we sometimes falter. Yet, in his love for us, the Lord continually gives us opportunities to renew our love and commitment. Let us not take his love and mercy for granted.

Thursday, Seventh Week in Ordinary Time: CHRISTIAN DISUNITY
Saint Paul wisely took advantage of the doctrinal differences between the Pharisees and Sadducees, causing division within the Jewish Council and frustrating their plan to prosecute him. In contrast, Jesus, aware of the danger of disunity, offered his final prayer to the Father for the unity of his followers. Sadly, division among Christians remains a great scandal that hinders evangelization and weakens Christian witness. Differences in doctrine should never become grounds for hostility or intolerance. Wherever we belong, let us respect Christians of other denominations and seek opportunities to collaborate in spreading the Gospel and serving humanity together.

Wednesday, Seventh Week of Easter: ENEMIES WITHIN
Throughout the history of the Church, there have been attacks against her both from within and from outside. Factions and divisions have arisen within the fold due to the selfish, ambitious, and evil motives of some members. Let each one of us refrain from anything that could harm the unity and growth of the Church. Instead, let us support her through our prayers, hard work, and charity.

Tuesday, Seventh Week of Easter: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
In their farewell speeches, both Jesus Christ and Saint Paul express satisfaction in having faithfully accomplished the work assigned to them by God. What work has God called you to accomplish in the family, Church, or society? How well are you carrying it out?
