Tuesday, Tenth Week of Ordinary Time: WITNESSING WITH KINDNESS
Jesus calls us the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We become salt and light not through extraordinary deeds, but through everyday acts of kindness, honesty, service, and trust in God. When we give, help, encourage, and forgive, we quietly bring God’s light into the lives of others.

Thursday, Ninth Week in Ordinary Time: LOVING GOD AND NEIGHBOR
Saint Paul, writing from suffering and imprison-ment, gives us a living example of what Jesus means by loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Jesus reminds us that such love must overflow into love of neigh-bour. When love becomes the motive of our actions, then we are not far from God's Kingdom. How profoundly do we love God and others?

Our baptism, into the Godhead (using the Trinitarian formula) makes us children of God and thus, obliges us to live out the lessons from the Trinity of three persons in one God. Let's strive to uphold the dignity of every human perso and work for unity and peace in our world, despite our religious, ethnic, ideological or other differences.
