" BE RAPTURE READY "

As I was reading through a publication of one of the great men of God of our time Pastor W.F. Kumuyi , the Holy Spirit ministered to me to share the message with you.
This message therefore, is an excerpt from Pastor Kumuyi's teaching which I am fully persuaded will bring revival to your life.
Imagine the thrill of hearing the shout of the Lord Jesus Christ, the voice of the archangel and the trumpet of God. Imagine being caught up to the sky and meeting the glorious Christ with His open arms ready to hold you for all eternity. The Rapture! Yes, the Rapture, the ultimate hope of every Christian. The Rapture is the catching away from the earth of all living saints and those who died in the Lord. The Scriptures record it will happen. "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye" (1 Corinthians 15:52).
Though all true Christians eagerly await this event, nobody knows the exact day or time it will happen. (Matt. 24:36). Indeed the rapture is inevitable. It will occur suddenly and unexpectedly! Numerous signs and events worldwide indicate that the event is imminent and it's what the church is waiting for. In fact, it is closer than you expect. As a Christian, you need to be conscious of and be ready for it. Guard against any thing that will make you miss that moment; for it will be suicidal if you don't make the rapture. You may be doomed forever.
One thing that can prevent you from partaking in the rapture, if you don't deal with it right now is unforgiving spirit. The seeds of unforgiving spirit are planted when you are wronged or hurt in some way. It could be a physical, emotional or verbal hurt. It could be a hurt you experienced in childhood or adulthood. It really makes no difference. The thing is, you harbour in the deep recess of your heart, a canker, a hurt, a feeling of resentment, a dislike, or even hatred because of the unpleasant experiences you have had with past and present associations.
Whatever offence or sin others have committed against you in the past or present; God's command is that you forgive them. Jesus says in Matt 6:15, " If ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. " It is so easy for you to receive God's forgiveness, but if you don't forgive those who offend you, God won't forgive even the hurt, resentment, anger, and hate you harbour against them in your heart. Unforgiving spirit will thwart your spiritual growth, prevent you from rising to your full potential and drag you to the depths of hell. But when you are released from it's hold, you will soar to celestial heights; you will be raptured with the saints.
So don't harbour ill feelings against anybody in your heart. When you're hurt choose to forgive. Pray for grace to let go of offences, no matter how severe they are, how deeply you have been hurt, and how they have impacted your life. Choosing to release your offender from his indebtedness is to be like the Lord Jesus Christ who forgave all your sins and offences against Him. (Psalm 32:5; Colossians 3:13).
Besides forgiving others, you should also clear your own offences. It has been said that hurt people hurt people. Recognise when you hurt others, and be ready to seek forgiveness from them. Restore whatever you have ill-gotten from them and apologise for the pain, hurt, injustice, and disappointment you've caused them as well as the betrayal of their trust. Finally, maintain a consistent holy and righteous walk with God, for " Every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure" say the scriptures (1 John 3:3 ). This is the way to be rapture-ready
