We sympathize with our brethren across the affected dioceses, especially the faithful of Port Harcourt Diocese, Rivers State. 🙏

The flooding in Port Harcourt has brought great hardship, leaving homes submerged, properties damaged, and many persons displaced.

In this difficult time, we want you to know that you are not alone. We stand with you in solidarity and prayer. 🤝

We commend you to the loving intercession of Our Blessed Mother, Our Lady, asking her to comfort the afflicted, protect families, and obtain God's grace for all those affected.

May the Lord keep you safe, strengthen your hearts, provide for your needs, and bring a speedy recovery to every community impacted by the floods.

🚗💨 Dear friends, have you ever traveled by road before?

Life is very much like a journey.

Sometimes the vehicle develops a fault.
Sometimes there is traffic.
Sometimes there are delays at checkpoints.
Sometimes there are storms, bad roads, and unexpected challenges.
Sometimes the vehicle shakes as though an accident is about to happen, yet God keeps it moving.
And sometimes, the journey is smooth and peaceful.

Every day, people are passing through different seasons of life. While some are celebrating, others are fighting silent battles. While some are arriving at their destinations, others are just beginning the journey.

But there is one thing every vehicle must do before and during a journey...

⛽ It must buy fuel.

Some passengers may complain about the delay, but without fuel, the journey cannot continue.

That fuel is PRAYER. 🙏🏽

Many of the dangers God saves us from daily are the ones we never get to see. Prayer keeps us connected to the One who sees the road ahead.

As you go through this weekend, don't forget to refuel.

🙏🏽 Pray before you leave home.
🙏🏽 Pray before you make decisions.
🙏🏽 Pray before you sleep.
🙏🏽 Pray when things are good.
🙏🏽 Pray when things are difficult.

May your journey through life end in joy and not in sorrow.
May carrying not be your portion in Jesus' Name. Amen.
