Fellowship! In CHRIST JESUS .

To the glory of GOD, we have come to the end of our 2026 Youth Week Celebration, and today we gather in thanksgiving to appreciate GOD for HIS immeasurable goodness and mercy upon us.

This week has been a moment of revival, fellowship, learning, service, and spiritual renewal for our youths across the Diocese. GOD has truly shown HIMSELF faithful in every programme, gathering, outreach, and activity carried out during this year’s celebration.

I specially celebrate our able Archdeaconry and unites President / leaders and every AYF member in Kubwa Diocese for your commitment, dedication, unity, and active participation throughout the Youth Week. Your passion for the work of GOD and willingness to serve has greatly contributed to the success of this year’s programme. I also deeply appreciate our Fathers in GOD, Chaplains, Patrons, Matrons, Coordinators, and all supporters who stood by us with prayers, encouragement, and resources. May GOD richly bless and reward you all.

The theme of this year’s Youth Week, “If GOD Be For Us,” should remain a daily conviction in our hearts. As Christian youths living in challenging times, we must continually trust GOD, depend on HIS strength, and remain unshaken in our faith. No matter the pressures around us, we are called to stand out as godly examples and ambassadors of CHRIST.

I encourage every young person in Kubwa Diocese to remain spiritually active and committed to the fellowship. Let us continue to grow in prayer, holiness, unity, evangelism, and love for one another. The Church and society need youths who are spiritually sound, responsible, and ready to make positive impact for the Kingdom of GOD .

As we celebrate Youth Sunday today, may the blessings of GOD rest upon every AYF member and family in Kubwa Diocese. May the LORD grant us greater strength, wisdom, favour, open doors, and uncommon testimonies in all our endeavours.

The Youth: The Future of the Church and Society

The youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow; they are the strength of today and the hope of the future. Any Church or society that neglects her youth is gradually surrendering her tomorrow. When we invest in the youth, we are securing the continuity of faith, leadership, and righteous influence.

The Anglican Youth Fellowship stands as a divine platform where young people are nurtured, guided, and empowered to grow spiritually and socially. Through structured mentorship, discipleship, and service, the youth are molded into responsible Christians and impactful citizens.

Molding the youth is not an easy task. It requires patience, sacrifice, consistency, prayer, and intentional guidance. Young people are full of energy, dreams, questions, and sometimes confusion. They are navigating identity, purpose, and destiny. To guide them properly demands wisdom, love, firmness, and understanding.

However, though the task is demanding, it is worth every investment.

Every correction given in love, every prayer offered on their behalf, every teaching, every discipline, and every opportunity provided to serve is a seed planted for the future. When youth are properly molded:

The Church gains sound leaders.

Families gain responsible parents.

The society gains ethical professionals.

The nation gains visionaries and reformers.

If we fail to shape them, the world will shape them. And the world does not always shape according to the will of GOD.

The goal is not merely to raise active youth, but to raise Godly youth, young men and women who know GOD, fear HIM , serve HIM , and represent HIM with integrity in every sphere of life.

Therefore, investing in the youth ministry is not a waste of time or resources. It is a divine responsibility. It may stretch us, challenge us, and demand much from us, but it produces eternal results.

Let us commit ourselves to molding the youth into what GOD wants them to be, vessels of honour, agents of transformation, and pillars in the Church and society.

This retreat is a divine opportunity to deepen our walk with GOD , realign our purpose, and step into the realm of exceeding greatness prepared for us. It will be a time of spiritual renewal, fellowship, teaching, and encounter.

All Archdeaconry Presidents, Executives, and Unit Leaders are hereby encouraged to mobilise and inspire our members for full participation. Let us come together as one body, ready to walk with GOD and grow in grace.

Beloved brethren,
In this season, GOD is calling Kubwa AYF into a higher dimension, Exceeding Greatness. This is not greatness measured by human standards, but the greatness that flows from GOD’S power at work within us (Ephesians 1:19).

We are seated with CHRIST far above limitations, fear, mediocrity, and defeat. Therefore, we rise beyond excuses and small visions. In our service, leadership, unity, evangelism, and impact, the hand of GOD will be evident. Our lives will speak, our works will testify, and our generation will know that GOD is among us.

This year, we will not only declare greatness, we will manifest it. The power of GOD will find full expression through Kubwa AYF, bringing transformation to our Diocese, our communities, and our individual lives.

PRAYER
Heavenly FATHER , we thank You for calling Kubwa AYF into a season of Exceeding Greatness. By the same power that raised CHRIST from the dead, work mightily in us. Lift us far above every limitation, division, weakness, and discouragement. Let our youths walk in wisdom, boldness, purity, and spiritual authority. May our service produce lasting fruits, and may Your glory be revealed through us in all we do.
We receive grace to manifest Exceeding Greatness, and we declare that this year shall be a year of divine impact and testimonies, in JESUS’ Name. Amen.

Exceeding Greatness is our portion. Exceeding Greatness is our testimony.
