"Three days later, Eric released Felix from police custody and gave him N1 million to put into his business.

"Thank you very much, my king; you have a heart of gold; I never expected anything good from you because of the tragedies I caused you; you are a good man, and may you live a long life, my king." Felix said.

“A month later, Prince Obinna and Princess Ada perform their traditional marriage.

"Lydia, please be sincere; do you know the King and Queen of the Obiago Kingdom? Ebuka asked.

“Lydia, why are you such a pretty liar? Have you forgotten the first time I met you at a restaurant? Eric asked.

"Prince Ebuka, you must summon the Chief Priest after this occasion to confirm whether she is a goddess or a human, as I still find it extremely difficult to believe that she is a human; please, I do not want you to go through what my wife and I went through at the hands of that mysterious goddess. Eric said.

"Your Majesty, I will do exactly as you have said. Ebuka replied.

"Ebuka summoned the Chief Priest three days after the successful wedding."

"Eyes of the gods, the king and queen of Obiago kingdom told me that my fiancée here is the mysterious goddess who has haunted them, so please confirm whether what they said about her is true or not. Ebuka said.

"The Chief Priest then recited an incantation and said:

"I caught Eric red-handed when he k'illed Princess Lizzy in a bush, but I could not confront him or shout right away because he was with two bad boys. Felix said.

"The Queen and some of the King's cabinet members believed Felix because they assumed Eric had killed Lizzy because of the mysterious goddess."

"Eric had the guts to kill my only hope, Eric, and I swear with my late husband's grave that I will deal with you and leave no stone unturned until you rot in jail." The Queen exclaimed.

“Your Majesty, I still find it extremely difficult to believe that Eric k'll the Princess. Onowu said.

“Young man, are you sure of what you just said? One of the King's Cabinets asked.

"Eric and Princess drove into the Palace, and when they came down, Eric glanced at Felix's car."

"My Princess, this is Felix's car. Eric said.
"I do not believe it, but let us go inside anyway. Princess Lizzy responded as they walked inside the palace.

" Mr.man, Can you speak now? Onowu commanded.

“Ahm.... ahm... ahm sor.. sor..rry my Princess, It was a de'vil handwork. Felix replied.

“What did you do to my daughter? The Queen asked.

"Felix could not respond to the queen because he was staring at them with fear.

"Well, since he does not have a mouth to talk, let me help him out. Eric said.

"No, my king; I will speak because I was the victim. Lizzy said.

“We are all ears my Princess. Onowu(The prime minister)said.

“Princess Lizzy narrated everything to them and they were extremely a'ngry.
“Thereafter, the Queen also explained the lies he Forged against Eric.
"How could you be so wicked and heartless?" One of the King's cabinets asked.

"Eric, forgive me, I am sorry; it was out of envy and jealousy; I never wanted you to be greater than I; that is why I kept praying for your downfall, and that is also why I took you to that river to see the goddess; I wanted the goddess to ru'in your life." Felix murmured.

"Felix, despite everything I did for you, I gave you 80% of the money you used to buy your house, I opened a profitable business for you, but you had the audacity to pray for my downfall and conspire to ru'in my life. Felix, it will never be well with you; my God will judge you for ru'ining my life; I can not believe you are responsible for the circumstances I am currently facing; Felix, you are w'icked, and you will reap this e'vil that you have sow very soon. "Thereafter, Onowu summoned the youth President and the youth of the Obiago kingdom to the Palace; when they arrived, Onowu informed them of Felix's offense and ordered the youth to burn him alive.

"So the youths took Felix away, b'eat him p'itilessly, put tyres on his neck, poured petrol all over his body, and just as they were about to set a fire on his body, Eric, Lizzy the Queen, Onowu, and King's cabinets arrived, and Eric hastily rushed out of the car and screamed;

"My Queen, Onowu, great people of Obiago Kingdom, there are times in life when God would test us by putting our e'nemies in our power to see what we would do to them, just as he did to David in the bible, when King Saul and his Armies were pursuing to k'ill David and his men, God put King Saul in David's power, and David had the chance to k'ill King Saul, but he did not k'ill him.
So God has already exp'osed and dis'graced Felix; please do not k'ill him, and he will be the one to lead us to the goddess' village, but he will never go unpunished; after returning from the village, I will call police to arrest him and he will remain in police custody until I marry Princess Lizzy and become the king of this kingdom. Eric said.

"I disagree with you, Eric; this boy is very w'cked, so the youth of this kingdom must either stone him to death or burn him alive. The Queen replied.

"With due respect, my Queen, Eric, here is our next king; he is the heir to the throne of Obiago kingdom; he is like a prince; therefore, whatever he says or decides, the people of Obiago kingdom will stand by his decisions, because he has been chosen by the gods of our land to rule this kingdom. Onowu replied.

"Well, you are the Onowu (Prime Minister) of this kingdom, and you know what is best for our kingdom. The Queen replied and Felix was ultimately set free.

"They went to the mysterious goddess' village two days later, and when they arrived at the king's palace, Onowu explained the circumstances that Eric and Princess Lizzy were facing as a result of the mysterious goddess

"The king and the elders of the village apologized to Eric and Lizzy for what they had been through. Following that, they requested sacrificial items such as cows and goats, among other things.

"Please, can we get all of these sacrificial items from this village? Onowu asked

“Yes. one of the Elders replied.

"Please, we are ready to buy them right away because we want to finish everything today. Onowu said.

“Thereafter, they went and bought all the sacrificial items.

"At midnight, Eric, Lizzy, Onowu, and the king's cabinets went to the river where the mysterious goddess lived, along with the village's chief priest and some elders of the vilkage, to perform the sacrifice."
"When they arrived at the river, the chief priest instructed Eric and Lizzy to step into it, and they did so with fear.

“Thereafter the chief priest performed some r'ituals and sacrifices, after they done with the sacrifice, they went to the King's palace and sleep there.

"The next morning, they returned to their kingdom, and as soon as they arrived, Eric called the police and arrested Felix, as he had said.

"A few days after returning from the village, Eric paid Lizzy's bride price, and they set a date for their wedding.

"A few weeks later, Eric and Lizzy had their traditional wedding.
"On their wedding night, Lizzy and Eric had sssx for the first time, and while they were sleeping, the mysterious goddess appeared to them in their dreams and atta'cked them, and when they woke up, Princess Lizzy was blind, and Eric's manhood was missing, and when Ada heard the shocking news, she stormed Lizzy's Kingdom, and everyone was amazed by what Ada did.

"After Ada revealed everything she saw in the dream, they quickly reversed, and as they did, the mysterious goddess appeared and commanded them to return to the river, or she would k'ill them all.

"Eze-nwanyi (Queen Mother), please, we are your children; let us go. Ada begged.

“I must go with him today, he's my husband and my people are waiting for him in my kingdom to crown him king. Goddess replied.

"I am not going anywhere with you; light and darkness have nothing in common; therefore, return to your kingdom and tell your people they will never see me. Eric replied.

“The goddess laughed and said;
"We have married, I am wearing your ring and I can see mine on your finger; the sooner you follow me to my kingdom, the better for you.

"God for'bid, I would rather die than go to your mi'serable kingdom. Eric replied courageously.

“Come with me now, else I will k'll all of you. The Goddess responded, preparing to bombard them with her charms.

"Please, Eze-nwanyi, do not do this to us; we are the children of this land, and our great-grandmother is from this land. Ada pleaded.

"My princess, stop begging this woman; we have a God far more powerful and mightier than she. Lizzy's Driver said.

“Samuel, please don't go close to her, she is extremely powerful, she might k'll you. Lizzy murmured.

"My Princess, I am not afraid of her because he who is in me is greater than she.
“Hey!! “A minute later, the Queen came out.
“Welcome, the great Chief Priest of Obiago Kingdom.

"Greetings, your highness. Where is the Princess and the next King of this kingdom?

"The Queen told the Chief Priest where they went."

"Your Majesty, I sense a serious da'nger; the princess may not survive. Ezemuo said.

“Why Ezemuo? Lizzy's mum asked fearfully.

"The mysterious Goddess de'ceived them; who did they consult before embarking on their journey to the mysterious river? Ezemuo asked.

"The Queen told him about the spiritualist who instructed Eric and Lizzy to take the sacrificial items to the river.

"My Queen, that Spiritualist was the goddess incarnate; she intended to k'ill the Princess and take the future king of this kingdom to the Marine world to crown him king. The Chief Priest replied.

"The Queen burst out crying and began to lament in grief.

*A few hours later*
"The Queen was still crying, and the king's cabinets were comforting her. Suddenly, Lizzy's Driver drove into the palace, and the Queen rushed outside to see if her daughter Lizzy was inside the car, and she was overjoyed to see her daughter Lizzy."

“Thereafter, they explained everything they encountered in the village to the Queen and King's cabinets.

"The next day, the King's Cabinet visited the Chief Priest Shrine.

"What is going on in our land, eyes of the gods?" For the last four months, the throne of the Obiago kingdom has been empty.

"Onowu, the gods have chosen a soul to be the king of this land. The Chief priest said.

“Who is that soul Ezemuo? They asked coincidentally.

"The gods have not reveal the appropriate time to me, but I believe she will depart from him soon. Chief priest replied.

“The king's cabinet and Onowu left the shrine frus'tratingly.

*The next morning, they went to the Palalce to decide what to do concerning the circumstances in their land.

"Onowu, we can not just fold our arms and watch Obiago's throne empty; we need to act fast. One of the cabinets said.

“I am baffled right now, What should we do at this juncture? Onowu asked.

"Onowu, I propose that we go to the goddess' village and explain the circumstances that our kingdom is facing as a result of the goddess; I believe the solution to Princess' fiancé, our next king, will be revealed." One of the cabinets suggested.

"I agree with you, Mazi Okonkwo; the situation on the ground affects not only Eric but the entire Obiago kingdom, so we must stand up and confront these mysterious circumstances.

"Well, you people have spoken very well; the f'ight on the ground is our f'ight, so we would definitely visit that village; however, who would lead us there? Onowu asked.

"My queen, who will lead us to that village?

"The Princess of Ameke Kingdom because her great-grandmother is from that village. The Queen replied.

"Thereafter, they went to the Ameke kingdom, to plead with Ada to accompany them to that mysterious village, but the King of Ameke kingdom completely disagreed."

"Princess Ada is extremely valuable to my family and entire Ameke kingdom, so we want nothing to happen to her at all. The king said.

"So they returned to their Kingdom, and when they arrived at the palace, Eric told them about his best friend Felix, who had taken him to the village to see the goddess.

"Two days later, Eric was about to travel to his town to see his best friend Felix about the issue at hand, but Princess Lizzy insisted on accompanying Eric to see Eric's people."

"After successfully arriving in town, Eric and Princess Lizzy proceeded to Felix's house.
“When they got to Felix's house, Eric explained the circumstances he went through to Felix.

“Eric, are you saying that the goddess is still haunting you? Felix asked.

"Yes, this is even wo'rse than before; please accompany us to the village." Eric pleaded.

"Sorry, Eric, but I can not leave my business and accompany you to the village. My business is far more valuable than anything else. Felix, Eric's best friend replied.

"Felix, please do not do this to me; do not forget, you were the one who took me to that village to see the goddess for the first time; please, in the name of God, accompany us to the village, now that the people of Obiago kingdom are willing to take immediate action in response to the circumstances surrounding me. Eric pleaded.

“Eric, I can't ooo. Felix replied.

"Please name your price; I am willing to pay you whatever amount you demand because I truly want the goddess to depart from him so that he can marry me and become the king of Obiago Kingdom." Princess Lizzy said.

"No amount is worth paying me because I am priceless; my yes is yes and my no is no." Felix replied.

"Felix, I am dis'appointed in you after all of the good things I have done for you, so this is how you intend to repay me?

"Not like that, Eric; my business is extremely important to me. Felix replied.

“So, the business which I established for you, is more valuable and important than my life and destiny right? Eric asked.

"Eric, see, I do not have time for all of these questions; I have something significant to attend to right now, see you later," Felix said, walking away from them.

"Felix, My God will judge you for ru'ining my life; you claimed to be my best friend." You will regret what you did to me for the rest of your life." Eric muttered.

"Babe, please let us go; I am confident that God will make a way. Princess Lizzy said.

*Thereafter, Felix became extremely fur'ious, jealous, and envious, so he decided to conspire to k'ill Princess Lizzy in order to implicate Eric.

"So Eric wants to marry a princess in order to become king of that great kingdom. I will never let that happen. What should I do now to prevent him from becoming King....Okay, i will pay some ba'd boys to kid'nap and K'll the princess, and accuse the Eric

*The next morning, as Eric and Princess were returning to the Palace, Felix sent ba'd boys to kid'nap Lizzy, and after they had kid'napped her, Felix instructed them to tie her up for three days before they would kill her.

"3 days after they kidnapped Lizzy, Felix called those b'ad boys to k'll Lizzy, and Felix went to Lizzy's Kingdom and informed Lizzy's mum and the King's cabinets that he caught Eric red-handed when he K'illed Princess Lizzy in the bush.

"When those b'ad boys wanted to k'ill Princess Lizzy, they were extremely shocked by what Lizzy did.

“A day after Obinna's coronation, Eric told Obinna that he was madly in love with a certain Princess who had attended his coronation, but he could not approach her due to her influence, status, and charisma.

"There were many princesses at my coronation; which one are you referring to? Obinna asked.

“My prince I do not know her name or kingdom, but she is of average height and dressed in purple royal attire. Eric said.

"Is she fair and slim?" Obinna asked.

“Yes my Prince.

“Does she have dimples?
“Oh yes my Prince.

"She is Princess Lizzy, and I know her."

"My prince, you are correct; her name is Lizzy. I just remembered her name" Eric said.

"Do not worry, Eric. I will speak with her on your behalf. Obinna said.

"Oh my goodness, my prince. Are you serious? Eric asked curiously.

“Pretty serious, I will introduce you to her and her mum as my best friend and I am pretty sure that she will not turn down your request. Obinna said.

“Thank you very much my Prince. I would be grateful if you could persuade her to accept me.

"That is not a big deal, Eric; just leave her for me. I will leave no stone unturned until she accept you. Obinna said.

"Oh, my prince. I am grateful.

"Eric, please stand up; I hope you know we are friends."
"I am just too grateful and happy, my prince.

“It's okay, Eric do you know that if you marry her, chances are excellent that you will become a king in her kingdom? Obinna asked.

"While they were conserving, Prince Ebuka came in;
