FACTS ABOUT LIFE
the kind that hit different when you sit with them:
1. Most of life is maintenance. Relationships, health, faith, money, skills - they don’t run on autopilot. The people who look like they “have it together” are just consistent at small, boring maintenance.
2. You can’t outrun yourself. Change your city, job, friends, phone number. The same patterns follow you until you deal with the root. External change without internal change = reset button.
3. Time is the only thing you can’t make more of, You can make more money, more friends, more opportunities. You can’t make more 24 hours. That’s why what you give your time to = what your life becomes.
4. Most fear is rehearsal for things that never happen@. Studies on anxiety show 85% of what people worry about never occurs. The 15% that does is usually survivable. Fear lies about the odds.
5. People remember how you made them feel more than what you said. You can be smart, funny, right - but if you make someone feel small, that’s what sticks. And vice versa.
6. Pain is a signal, not the enemy. Physical pain tells you something’s wrong in the body. Emotional pain tells you something’s wrong in your values, boundaries, or relationships. Ignore it and it gets louder.
7. Growth feels like discomfort, not motivation. Motivation is rare. Growth happens when you do the hard thing while you don’t feel like it. That’s why most people plateau.
8. No one is thinking about you as much as you think. Everyone’s the main character in their own story. That’s freeing - you can take more risks because people forget fast.
9. Your environment shapes you more than your willpower. If you want to change, change what’s around you first: who you talk to, what’s on your phone, where you spend time. Willpower loses to environment 9/10 times.
10. Life rewards clarity.
Vague goals = vague results.
“I want to be successful” does nothing. “I want to close 3 clients this month” gets you moving. God, people, and opportunities respond to clarity.
