C&S Unification Church Set for 2026 Annual General Conference.

Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria is set to host its highly anticipated 2026 Annual General Conference (AGC), a landmark gathering that marks the first post-centenary AGC and the first under the leadership of His Most Eminence, Prophet Dr. Emmanuel Adewale Abiodun Alogbo.

The four-day conference is scheduled to hold from Thursday, January 29, to Sunday, February 1, 2026, with daily sessions commencing at 10:00 a.m. The event will be hosted by The Saviour’s Ministries C&S at Whitestone Events Place, Billings Way, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos.

The theme of the 2026 AGC is “Cherubim & Seraphim Church (An Unhidden City)”, Matthew 5:14. It will provide the framework for extensive engagements including strategic reviews, deep deliberations, fervent prayers, spiritual exhortations, capacity-building training, and key restructuring initiatives aimed at strengthening the church’s spiritual and administrative structures.

Delegates and observers from all constituent churches, units, and administrative levels of the C&S Unification Church are expected to converge for this pivotal conference. The gathering is designed to foster unity, define a clear strategic direction for the future, and consolidate the gains of the historic Centenary celebration.

As part of preparations for the conference, the church leadership has scheduled a Press Briefing for Monday, January 26, 2026, at Seraphim Land, Maba, Ogun State. The briefing will provide members of the press, prospective participants, and the wider church community with firsthand information on the conference agenda, expected outcomes, and the Supreme Head’s vision for the next era of the church.

The Annual General Conference, held every January, remains the church’s highest decision-making platform, serving as a forum for reviewing the past year’s activities and positioning the church for the years ahead.

You did not choose Me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will remain—so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.

Olorun ọdún tí kò já, ire ti 2026. Omo Ẹmi, hear this clearly.
2025 was not an accident it was grace in motion. Remember the prayers that were answered according to the perfect will of Jah, and also thank Him for the prayers He did not answer, because some of them would have cost you your life.
As we prepare for the crossover, be assured of this truth: our God shall supply all our needs according to His riches in glory not according to our fears, haste, or human understanding.
Therefore, before you begin your conversation with Jah tonight, search the Scriptures diligently and align your prayers with His will. When you pray His Word, you invoke His power.
May God bless you and your household. Step boldly into the New Year with faith, wisdom, and gratitude.
Happy New Year, my friend.

Pulpit Bandits in the Churches Today , A Biblical Appraisal

CHERUB TELEVISION

The crisis confronting the contemporary church is neither new nor unexpected. Scripture repeatedly warns against corrupt spiritual leadership , men and women who stand before God’s people, not as shepherds, but as predators. What we now describe as pulpit banditry is biblically recognized as false shepherding, profiteering, and spiritual manipulation.
Christ Himself set the standard when He violently rejected the commercialization of sacred space: “My house shall be called a house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves” (Matthew 21:13). This was not merely about physical money changers, but about the misuse of spiritual authority for material gain ,a pattern replicated today when pulpits become profit centers.
The Apostle Peter issued a direct warning to the church: “Through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you” (2 Peter 2:3). This scripture precisely captures modern religious exploitation , manufactured testimonies, scripted prophecies, and emotionally charged appeals designed to extract money rather than edify souls.
God’s indictment of corrupt leadership is vividly stated in Ezekiel: “Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?” (Ezekiel 34:2–3). These shepherds consumed the best for themselves while neglecting the spiritual and material welfare of the people. The parallel with contemporary excess, luxury, and unaccountable church leadership is unmistakable.
Paul, conscious of this danger, deliberately rejected financial manipulation: “I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel” (Acts 20:33). He further insisted that ministry must not be motivated by greed: “Not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind” (1 Peter 5:2). Where wealth becomes the driving force of ministry, the biblical model has already been abandoned.
Equally alarming is the silencing of accountability through spiritual intimidation. Scripture condemns this practice outright: “Ye shall not lord it over God’s heritage, but be ensamples to the flock” (1 Peter 5:3). When questioning leadership is branded as rebellion, the spirit of Christ has been replaced with authoritarianism.
Jesus warned that outward religiosity does not guarantee divine approval: “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves” (Matthew 7:15). Wolves do not announce themselves; they blend in, speak religious language, and exploit trust exactly the danger facing many congregations today.
The responsibility of discernment lies with believers as well. The Bereans were commended because they “searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so” (Acts 17:11). Blind loyalty is never a Christian virtue; spiritual maturity demands examination and accountability.
In conclusion, Scripture leaves no ambiguity. The pulpit is a place of service, sacrifice, and truth not extortion, theatrics, or self-glorification. Any ministry that prioritizes profit over people, control over conscience, and spectacle over scripture stands under divine rebuke. As Christ warned: “By their fruits ye shall know them” (Matthew 7:20).
