*๐Ÿ“โœ๏ธSUMMARY! SUMMARY!!๐Ÿ—’๏ธ๐Ÿ–Š๏ธ*

*TOPIC: EXPANSION: WHAT NEEDS ARE DEMANDING YOU EXPANDS?*

*TEXT: DANIEL 6:6-28 NIV*

*LESSON:*

*Often the things that wreck us are also the areas of our lives where we have the most room for God to move in us. Daniel found himself in a society where praying became illegal. He looked at the people around him and knew that they needed God, needed to devote themselves to Him, and that He could do nothing but pray. But he didnโ€™t just pray. He opened his window and prayed. Why? Because he wanted to make room for God to move in the lives of the people around him. He wanted them to hear his devotion and for God to do something miraculous to change a nation. And thatโ€™s just what happened.*

*ASK YOURSELF THIS: What needs do you see around you that stir your faith/fear?*

*Does it wreck you to see fatherless children? Why not offer to mentor one? Expand your faith. Does it wreck you to see politics veering away from Christian morality? Get involved and add your Christian voice to the conversation. Does it wreck you that mums canโ€™t listen to the Sunday message? Volunteer to help at Highlands Kids.*

*ASK YOURSELF THIS: Do you have faith in Godโ€™s desire and ability to provide for the needs you see?*

*Daniel looked at the people around him and saw they needed God. They needed to see Him move in their world. He saw a need and publicly declared what he believed the answer was (Daniel 6:10-11). He fearlessly turned his face to God and opened his window while he prayed (illegally), so people could see where his strength came from. Do you show the world you have faith that they, too, can receive from God? Ask God to expand your courage and willingness to speak these truths to a dying world.*

*ASK YOURSELF THIS: Have I REALLY prayed about it?*

*REFLECT ON THIS QUOTE FROM OSWALD CHAMBERS:*

โ€œWe tend to use prayer as a last resort, but God wants it to be our first line of defence. We pray when there's nothing else we can do, but God wants us to pray before we do anything at all. Most of us would prefer to spend time doing something that will get immediate results. We don't want to wait for God to resolve matters in His good time because His idea of 'good time' is seldom in sync with ours.โ€*

*๐Ÿ“โœ๏ธSUMMARY! SUMMARY!!๐Ÿ—’๏ธ๐Ÿ–Š๏ธ*

*TOPIC: NO LOVE, NO VICTORY โ€“ LOVE DOESN'T DO THAT*

*TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 13:4-7 NIV*

*LESSON*

*โ€œLove is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.โ€*
*- 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NLT*

*Love gives you everything that you need for this life. This is not to say that it is easy to apply, but Paul gives us some clear direction of how love does NOT act!*

*NOT JEALOUS OR BOASTFUL OR PROUD OR RUDE*

*Love does not make it about us. We all are tempted to do this, and at times we have all fallen into this trap from the devil. The most important thing to do when we see ourselves doing this is to make the adjustment to not stay there. When you find yourself in that situation, do not defend your action with intention. Own it, adjust, and move forward.*

*DOES NOT DEMAND IT'S OWN WAY*

*The relationship is more important than being right. It can sometimes be easy to get caught up in using the Bible to defend having things our own way. Once again, I speak from experience. The interesting thing about having our way is that sometimes we are wrong! We are not perfect. However, sometimes we allow the desire to โ€œhave our own wayโ€ win over the best action for the situation. When in a disagreement, do what love would do.*

*NOT IRRITABLE AND KEEPS NO RECORD OF BEING WRONGED*

*I love how these two go together. Love is not easily angered. Another translation says, โ€œlove has a long fuse.โ€ And it keeps no record of being wronged. It is easy to become irritable if we continually count all the ways that we have been wronged. If we do that continually, we will have the shortest fuse ever. We have all hurt other people, so let's extend the same grace to others when we are on the other side: do not be easily angered, and keep no record of the past.*

*DOES NOT REJOICE ABOUT INJUSTICE; REJOICES WHEN TRUTH WINS OUT*

*Love wants the truth to prevail. It is not loving to enjoy someone else's misery. Love puts ourselves in their shoes and looks at things from another perspective. No matter what the truth is, that is what love does. In times like these, letโ€™s make sure we are walking in love with everyone!*

*CONFESSION TODAY*

*โ€œLove is not jealous or boastful, so I will not be either. Love does not demand its own way, so I will not either. Love is not irritable and does not keep a record of being wronged, so I will not either. Love rejoices in truth, so I will rejoice in truth. Whenever I find myself doing something love wouldnโ€™t do, I will ask God to help me make every adjustment that I need to make. Love never fails.โ€*

๐Ÿ“โœ๏ธSUMMARY! SUMMARY!!๐Ÿ—’๏ธ๐Ÿ–Š๏ธ

TOPIC: KEEPING YOUR NEWNESS ALIVE: STAY FOCUSED

TEXT: PSALM 139:6; COLOSSIANS 3:1; PSALM 91:14-15 NIV

Donโ€™t lose your wonder. After a season of absolute awe and new learnings about God, did you go through a phase where you felt like you lost that amazement? In Psalms 139:6 while talking about Godโ€™s love and knowledge of us, David says, โ€œSuch knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.โ€

While you fix your eyes on Jesus, it is also important to explore and receive new revelations about God. Godโ€™s work is too vast for us to measure and too profound for us to fathom, however, God is gracious to give us glimpses of His Glory when we love Him and long to know more. These continuous revelations about God will unquestionably leave you in wonder, fueling your love and passion for God.

In the monotony created, many Christians almost lose the realization of the authority that we have as sons and daughters of God.

Donโ€™t ever become passive about the passion you carried and casual about the mission you committed your life to.

What are some creative ways you can think of to remind yourself and always hold on to that โ€œwonderโ€?

Start practicing them and list down all that amazes you. Psalms 139 holds a beautiful list of revelations about God. Though Davidโ€™s thought was directed towards asking God to search him and know his heart is true, his revelation of God gave him hope that his God knew him better than anyone could ever know.

TOPIC: THANK YOU... FOR WHAT I ALREADY HAVE!

TEXT: 1 TIMOTHY 6:6-8; 2 PETER 1: 3 NIV

During Thanksgiving, and as many people rush to do their holiday shopping, itโ€™s good to take a moment to slow down and remember how much we already have to be thankful for.

One day, a very wealthy father took his son on a trip to the country to show him how poor people lived. They spent several days there on a farm with a family who didnโ€™t have much to offer them.

When they returned home, the father asked his son:

โ€œDid you like the trip?โ€
โ€œOh yes, very much, dad!โ€
โ€œDid you see how poor people live?โ€
โ€œYes!โ€ the son answered.
โ€œSo what did you learn from the trip?โ€

The son answered, โ€œI saw that we have one dog, and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden, and they have a creek to swim in that has no end. We have lanterns in our garden, and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard, and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on, and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us; they have friends to protect them.โ€

The boyโ€™s father was speechless.

The son added, โ€œDad, thanks for showing me what it really means to be rich.โ€

What is worthless to one person is anotherโ€™s treasure! Itโ€™s all based on perspective.

For you, what are true riches? Goods, objects, or possessions or rather, relationship with God, peace with yourself, and friendship with others?

Comparison kills contentment, as the expression goes. Too often, we forget the real treasures and instead mope about what we donโ€™t have and what weโ€™d like to possess.

The Bible says, โ€œNow godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.โ€ (1 Timothy 6:6-8)

Contentment and gratitude are two fundamental values in the Kingdom of God that are so important to live out each day! While God desires to fulfill our needs, we all still need to learn to be satisfied with what we have today.

I encourage you to be thankful to God for everything Heโ€™s already given you. Remember, โ€œHis divine power has given to you all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him!โ€ (2 Peter 1:3)

*๐Ÿ’ƒ*WORD FUN CRUISE*๐Ÿ’ƒVOLUME 12 *SEASON 12(3) *(20-12-2025)*

*๐Ÿ“โœ๏ธSUMMARY! SUMMARY!!๐Ÿ—’๏ธ๐Ÿ–Š๏ธ*

*TOPIC: YOUR HARVEST DEPENDS ON WHY YOU SOW*.

*TEXT: 2 CORINTHIANS 9:9; DEUTERONOMY 16:17NIV*

*The reason God wants to bless your sowing is to โ€œincrease of the harvest of your righteousnessโ€ (2 Corinthians 9:10). God is interested in meeting your need as long as meeting your need is going to help you grow in your godly character and living, not just increase your stuff. A lot of folks want to be blessed for blessingโ€™s sake, never mind whether it is going to help them have a closer walk with God.*

*In other words, God is not only interested in blessing you with a new car so you can go on to forget Him while driving behind the wheel. Heโ€™s not interested in you getting a bigger house so you can be more unrighteous in it. God is not interested in just the external. Rather, God, wants to increase the righteousness of your inner person. He wants to draw you closer to Himself so that you follow Him more obediently.*

*Yes, God can make all grace abound to you. But He wants to make sure that His grace makes you a better you. The difference between a person who gives for the right motive and the one who only gives to get is that the latter is trying to make a bargain with God. But we canโ€™t say to God, โ€œIโ€™ll give to your work, but only if you bless my finances.โ€ God may want to bless you anyway, but He doesnโ€™t do deals.*

*Notice that Paul said in verse 10 it is God who โ€œsupplies seed to the sower.โ€ Even the seed you need for sowing comes from God. Itโ€™s all grace. God has this thing so covered that once He sees a need, He includes a seed to sow and meet that need. And when the need is met, He also supplies more seed for replanting so there can be a further harvest and then additional seed for even the harvest beyond that*

*Do you have any โ€œdealsโ€ youโ€™re trying to work out with God right now? How can you work on turning those โ€œdealsโ€ into cheerful giving?*
