LIGHT SERIES - PART 3
Scripture says:
“You are the light of the world, a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden.”
Matthew 5:14
This scripture reveals that your identity is divine, not circumstantial.
It is not defined by what you have, what you do, or who you know.
It is rooted in what God has spoken concerning you in His Word. So to truly know who you are, you must know what the Scriptures say about you.
The greatest investment you can make in your life is to study the Bible consistently so you can discover your true identity in Christ.
Many people allow their circumstance, struggles, and challenges to define who they are. But when you do that, you open the door for the enemy to distort your identity,; making you feel weak, inferior, confused, and defeated.
The devil does not fight those who are ordinary; he targets those with great destinies.
Your battles are often evidence of your significance.
If you do not allow God’s Word to shape your reality, the enemy will attempt to shape it for you through fear, low self-esteem, frustration, and spiritual weakness.
That is why every challenge should not break you, but rather push you deeper into God.
When trials arise, you must learn to:
Press more
Pray more!
Grow stronger in the Word
Response in pressure:
Let every attack call you back to God.
Strengthen your spirit, and discipline your flesh.
Fuel your passion for evangelism that advances God’s kingdom.
Deepen your intimacy with God that can draw nations to Christ.
God often uses pressure to reveal strength you didn’t know you had.
The more the enemy presses, the more you should rise in spiritual sensitivity and discipline.
The more he tries to weaken you, the more you must strengthen yourself in God.
One key message remains clear:
Do not remain spiritually weak.
Discipline yourself to continually stock your life with the Word of God.
Because in the Word, you discover not just information but your true identity.
