THE FALLEN ELECTS
(The more you are feeding on the wrong meal, the more you have appetite for it. The same with the prosperity preachers and motivational speakers - they are sweet, cheap poison to your spiritual life.)

When they started in US in late 60s headed by Normal Vincent Peale, many saw them as strange, when it was imported into Nigeria by Idahosa & co in early 80s, many saw them as fake prosperity preachers, but now, many have are falling victim of them, including the careless elects, including the covenant church like RCCG whose foundation was on old time religion, including many brothers and sisters, whose spiritual foundation in their secondary school and college fellowships was laid on holiness and hunger for heavenly things.

But now the careless fallen elect churches, ministers, brothers and sisters have become more worldly than the people of the world.

Can you remember how you started your Christian life far back then? Can you? Do you remember how you started the ministry then? The standard, the humility, the simplicity, the commitment in prayer, personal evangelism and the watchfulness in all things with YOUR PROMISES NEVER TO COMPROMISE THE SAME STANDARD?

Then you saw people who lived the type of life you are living now and the type of ministry you are running now as backsliders and false ministers, you remember?

But now you have fallen victim of the modern gospel, and the worst part is that you are unaware of your falling. You are celebrated, you are celebrating but heaven is weeping over you. You are now rich materially and financially but poor spiritually. You are now populous, popular and even powerful but your old standard of purity has gone.

God is calling you into repentance back to your first love for Him. That standard of holiness and righteousness you believed and preached in 1980s, when you were in school fellowship, that high commitment of prayer and evangelism - that woe is unto you if you don't preach to somebody in a day, that simple lifestyle of dressing, of humility and giving to people around, all these have not changed, God does not change any of standards which you knew far back then, it is you who have changed. But He is calling you back, because we are in the last hour of the end.

Go back to where you started, your first love, your foundation, your Bethel - where God met you and called you, where He was pleased with you and covenanted with you. You are among the false modern, motivational and prosperity preachers, but that was not your calling; you are an elect, but you have now mixed with this modern, falling church as a committed member, worker and even minister, have you forgotten where you came from, you standard and knowledge of God of old? You are an elect, not to perish with these modern end time churches.

Repent, rededicate your self to God and come out from among them, yes, do that NOW!

(I am not saying you should go back to a church, but to your fellowship of old with God.)

JUNETEETH (June 19th)
On June 19, 1865, tagged as Juneteenth by Black Americans then, the enslaved men and women in Texas finally learned that they were free — more than two years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, which freed all slaves in rebelling states. The Black slaves remained in bo***ge by their slave masters for more than 2 years after their emancipation Proclamation.

Do you know same thing is happening to many people today? After Jesus saved and set you free from sin, the slave master devil will want to keep you in perpetual bo***ge of some sins called addicted sins, and deceiving many that you can't be free from addicted sins just like that, and that you must remain enslaved or you will need special deliverance apart from the work of salvation. You know what? Jesus has paid for all and He has set us free from every sin, either addicted sins or general sins, we are free completely and we must not be slave of any sin. Do not remain under the bo***ge of ma********on, drug, lying or any form of sin after you are saved. Jesus has set us free indeed!

Secondly, do you know that some people say after they are saved in Christ and become a new creature in Christ, that Jesus only set them free from sins but not from principalities, powers of darkness, handwritten generational curse or evil forces of their families. They said after their salvation in Christ, they are still slaves of evil forces, though they are now seated with Christ in heavenly places but witches and wizards can still sit on their destinies, and there is need for additional declaration of freedom through special deliverance work maybe on mountain or somewhere apart from the declaration of their salvation.

They ignorantly say, "Your salvation in Christ has nothing to do with generational curses, and witches do not care if you are seated with Christ in heavenly, they can still climb on Jesus and come and meet you beside Jesus and sit on your destiny" They say, "Even if your life is hided in Christ when you become saved, hmmm, witches and wizards are very bad oh, they will break into Jesus' stomach, take your life and destroy it. That is the reason you need continuous special deliverance, prayers of witches fall and die even after you are genuinely saved."

Such people are Juneteenth Christians, they are ignorant of the complete work of freedom, total emancipation by Christ on the cross, they are being fed by doctrines of demons that makes no difference between the saved and unsaved, between saints in Christ and sinners in the world.

When you are genuinely saved in Christ, He sets you free from all sins, addicted sins, from all principalities, powers, curses, evil handwritten, evil forces of witches and wizards; Here is what Bible says about me and you before and after we are saved:

“And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:13-15.

YOUR QUESTION?
But why are some Children of God who are serving God in holiness and yet the enemies are troubling their lives?

JESUS’ ANSWER
I was in the boat with My disciples, yet the devil came to trouble it on the sea to the extent that it almost sinks and they were crying in fear. I asked them, “Where is your faith?” So the fact that I’m in the boat of your life, marriage, health, ministry or business does not mean devil will not want to trouble you, but you must command by faith, not cry in fear. When you command in faith, he will flee away but when you begin to cry in fear he will force his will on your life. Where is your faith in Me? Command in My Name!

FAITH OR FAKE? ……please you got to read this!

Do you have faith in Christ? Are you a Believer or are you born again? What is your knowledge and understanding about Faith in Christ or Bible Faith?

Apart from what anyone or any book says about Christian Faith, let’s see what the Bible says. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Faith is coming to God through Jesus Christ, faith is pleasing God not yourself, faith is surrendering your life, your self, your sins, your will, your pleasure to God and pleasing Him. Genuine salvation in Jesus produces genuine faith that pleases God. If your faith is just cash and carry, claim and cash blessings as these end time modern preachers are preaching, then you only have fake, no faith. If your faith does not produces righteous living, then what you have is fake; if your acclaimed salvation does not give you victory over sin, then what you have is fake.

We are not saved by our works of righteousness, but we are saved for righteousness work, we are not saved by the works of law, but we are not saved for lawless works. We are saved by faith for good, godly works. Philippians 4:8 When you genuinely repent of your sins and accept Jesus into your life, then you are saved simply by faith in Jesus, you now begin to work out that salvation by bringing forth fruits worthy of your repentance, salvation as the Holy Spirit empowers you.

If your faith doesn’t produce righteous works from you, then what you have is fake. Faith in Christ is not just claiming, not just saying, not just cashing blessing, it is pleasing God, denying self, and resisting sinful stuffs, because you believes that God exists and the eternal rewards are waiting for you. Do you have the old time faith that overcomes sins and produces new life since you believe? Check it out! Bewared, be warned of end time fake-faith of prosperity without purity, of proclaiming without producing!

James 2: 14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? ... 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

THE RICH MAN AND LAZARUS
LUKE 16:25, "But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented."

At the end, the rich man found himself in Hell and Lazarus the poor man, found himself in paradise. What a two different eternal destinies!
Father Abraham said about the rich man, that he had received his “good things” while on earth and Lazarus, his evil things while on earth. The question is, “Was is because of the riches this rich man had were the good things that made him to go to hell?” Does it mean riches makes one goes to hell fire? Because the rich man went to hell, does that means every rich man and woman are going to end up in hell fire? And also, "Can we say the poverty of Lazarus were the evil things that earned him paradise?" Does that mean every poor Christian who suffers on earth will automatically go to heaven? The answer to both is NO!

The rich man didn’t go to hell just because he was a rich man, in fact Abraham was a rich man also, and Abraham is in paradise. So riches itself is not a certificate to hell except one get it in a wrong way or one allows the riches to make one behave wrongly. On the other hand, Lazarus didn’t go to paradise simply because he was poor; there are many poor sinners in hell. Being poor is not a certificate to heaven and poverty is not always synonymous to holiness. There Are many sinful poor people and there are many rich godly people.

But then, Abraham said the rich man was in hell because in his lifetime, he received his “good things”. He also said that Lazarus is in paradise because in his lifetime, he received his “evil things”. Both men received their own things in their lifetime, and afterlife, they were rewarded accordingly. We can see that it is what both of them did while living that determined where they went to when they died. Eternity is determined while on earth not after death. There is no prayer you can pray after you die that will change your eternal destination and there is no amount of prayer people pray for you that will change your destiny after death.

THE GOOD THINGS
It's not wrong for us to have good things on earth, because good things are good as long it is godly. But the “good things” the rich man received while on earth that made him to go to hell were the gain of unrighteousness which made him rich, and also “evil things” Lazarus received were the persecutions and forbearance for righteousness and for the sake of righteousness.

It’s possible for you to be rich through unrighteous means and enjoy your life till you die, as many are forgoing or forgetting righteousness for the sake of riches today. But what will it profit a man if he gains the world and loses his soul? The riches, wealth, opportunities, jobs, contracts, allowances, money, properties, certificates, visas, business connections, positions, votes, positions, profits that you gain through unrighteous means (lying, falsification, malpractices, stealing, bribing, cheating, etc ) are the good things which you received in your lifetime that will qualify you for eternal destruction, to hell at the end of your lifetime on earth.

Any good thing you get through sinful and ungodly means will make you groan in eternity like the rich man. You may gain riches through sinful means, you may gain population in your ministry through prosperity preaching and compromising systems, you may gain power through satanic way and you are enjoying yourself now. The good things which you gained through unrighteous means and made you rich in your lifetime will create your eternal doom and suffering after your lifetime is expired on earth.

You can gain a lot of riches and many good things on earth by ungodly and unrighteous ways and have wonderful time in life, and enjoy yourself to the full, but at the expense of your soul and eternity. Good things like good position, promotion, political power, nice house, beautiful car, easy life and luxurious life; you get what you want, you eat what you want, you drive the car you like, and you travel all over the world. Is that not good and splendid? The Bible said the rich man "was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day." What a splendid and sweet life! He was wearing the best designers, and lived the best quality life of his generation. He did a lot of good things to his life and body, but not to his soul. Like this rich man, those who get good things without being godly, will regret at the end.

THE EVIL THINGS
It’s possible to be poor because of righteousness till the person gets to heaven. Lazarus was a child of God and he served God wholeheartedly, but he was poor. What it means is that, it better to remain righteous, uncompromising in Jesus and be poor than to compromise and gain wealth through lying and ungodly means. Everybody may be doing that to get job or wealth, because everybody wants to be rich, but only few will stand for righteousness than unrighteous riches. Proverbs 19:22, ".....And a poor man is better than a liar."

Does that means Lazarus didn’t know his right in the Lord as many prosperity preachers claim that it is the right of every child of God to be rich? Some preachers even go to the extent of preaching that if you are a poor Christian, you are under curse. But if you check most of their rich members, they are more like this rich man in the Bible. The modern Christianity gospel preaches that it is a must to be rich, but in the Christianity of the Bible, riches are good but not a must, there are only two things Jesus made as under a must for every heavenly minded Christian, and they are holiness and evangelism. Holiness is under a must if you want to see God at the end, because without holiness no man shall see God; and evangelism is a must, in fact Paul said woe is unto him if he failed to preach the Gospel to others.

Can we also say Lazarus was a lazy man as a result of his poverty? NO! Lazarus was not poor because he was lazy but he preferred to remain poor than to compromise holiness; he chose to be poor than to change figure, he accepted to be poor than to bribe for contracts or any good thing of this life. You can mock Lazarus for being poor, you can mock him for being a poor Christian, but it is a matter of time because this present life is a matter of time.

You claim to be Christian, and you say poverty is not your portion, you have made hell fire you portion already. You lie and you claim poverty is not your portion? Hell is your portion, you bribe, you collect bribes at work, you change figures, you collect salary of work you are not doing, you inflate prices at work, you commit fornication, adultery, ma********on, po*******hy, you are a trouble maker at home, yet you shout “poverty is no my portion, I want to go to heaven like rich Abraham, not like poor Lazarus” you know what? The devil is preparing a special bedroom for you in hell, except you repent.

It’s not a must for the child of God to be rich financially and materially, but it’s a must to be rich towards God. Jesus never promised financial prosperity to His followers, since no place in the Gospel books or throughout the teachings and episodes of the Apostles, and in the book of Revelation that financial or material prosperity was promised to those who follow and serve Christ.

Jesus never said, “If you follow me you will be rich and gain the whole world” It is only one person that promises riches if you follow him, and that is the devil. The devil promises fame, riches and earthly power if you follow him so you can lose your soul for eternity in hell. He uses the temporal things of this world to deceive eternal souls.

It’s not a sin for a child of God to be rich, but it’s not a must, as many prosperity, penterascal preachers are claiming. Financial riches and wealth is so minor and additional that a genuine child of God and minister of God will not focus his ministry on it. The priority of a serious minded Christian is to live according to God's word and fulfill God's will on earth.

The temporal "good things" are not as important as the eternal good things. If you allow the good things of this world to distract you from serving God, if you allow the good things of this world to take away your salvation and integrity in Christ, you are making yourself another "rich man" of this generation who had his "good things" and ended up in the hell of eternal torment.

Do not give what you need forever for what you need for few days. Surrender all to Jesus and serve Him with whatever you have, no matter what!

Are you ready to rededicate your life to Jesus now or start a new life? Then repent! Confess all your sins, forsake them all and ask Jesus to forgive, cleanse you and save you. Then it will be well with your soul.

THE CONFUSION OF GREAT TRIBULATION BEFORE RAPTURE
Why many Christians are making mistake that Great tribulation will happen before rapture is because they read great tribulation and also see Jesus coming from the sky again, so they assume that is rapture, but no.

Jesus will appear in the sky twice, the first time is rapture, the taking away of the children of God worldwide, only the believers will see and hear Him and His angels then.

After rapture, there will be great tribulation for the Christians who refuse to take the mark of the beast (666), and immediately after the great tribulation, Jesus will appear again, and at this time all eyes will see Him.

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” Matthew 24:29,30.

God’s wrath “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken” God turning the world He created upside down because of the evil of the men. This is not Satan’s wrath, it is God Himself who has the power to do that.

Now look at the verse 30, “Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then ALL THE TRIBES OF THE EARTH will mourn, and THEY WILL SEE the Son of Man coming on the clouds”

Is it possible for the whole earth to see Jesus at the rapture? Does this Bible verse sounds like rapture? NO! So this is the appearance of Jesus Christ after great tribulation, it is not rapture but second coming of Jesus.

There is a difference between rapture and second coming of Jesus Christ. The rapture is Jesus coming to take away His faithful children. But the second coming is Jesus Christ coming to judge the world.

As children of God, we are preparing for the rapture which is the next end time event. After the rapture there will be Great Tribulation.

May the Lord give us better understanding in Jesus name.

HOW TO CRUCIFY THE FLESH
WORD, WATCH AND PRAY!

WORD OF GOD: We grow and get strength to resist and subdue the flesh through God’s Word. God’s Word sanctifies us and strengthens us against sin. “Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You.” Psalm 119:11. Daily Bible reading, at least 2 chapters a day, and meditation gives us daily victory over the flesh. “How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.” Psalm 119:9.

WATCH: How do we watch to deal with our body in new life in Jesus? The answer is by discipline and keeping it under God’s spirit. That was what Paul did to his stubborn body. 1 Corinthians 9:27, “But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.”

It involves daily watchfulness over our hearts, thoughts, thinking, tongues, tones, tempers and attitudes; guiding and subduing them with God’s word. It also involve separating yourself from sinful materials, things or people who can connect you back to sin, some friendship you end, some materials you destroy and delete and places you disconnect yourself from if you want to continue in new life with Jesus, if you don’t want to go back to the vomit of sin.

But we can’t do that with or by our own human ability, we can’t change our sinful habits by our own abilities. It takes God’s grace and strength of the Holy Spirit. Not by power, nor by might but by My Spirit says the LORD. Zechariah 4:6. We get that through prayer-

PRAYER: “A prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian” To subdue the flesh in out Christian life, we need daily prayer for God’s help and strength. Without daily prayer, we can’t make it. Jesus commanded us to be prayerful so as the overcome the flesh and live righteous life. Matthew 26:41.

Fervent prayer to subdue the flesh, to renew our strength and receive God’s grace. At least, a serious minded Christian must take 30mins to pray daily on his or her Christian life and grow from the 30mins.

May the Lord help us to be watchful and prayerful as we continue in our Christian journey to eternal life, no turning back, no looking back, we have decided to follow Jesus to heaven, not to half way in Jesus name.

WHERE IS YOUR FAITH?

You can be a child of God and the ship of your marriage,ministry, health, family and finance can sink if you are afraid, simple.

Jesus Christ was in the ship with His disciples, yet the devil was terrifying them, almost sinking the ship while Jesus was right inside the ship, you know why? Because of fear and lack of faith. Jesus told them, " “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” Mark 4: 40.

The same thing maybe applicable to you as a child of God; why is Satan terrifying you? Why is your ship getting sinking while Jesus is right inside there with you?

Enough! Rise up in faith and your fear will run away. Command in Jesus name and peace will be still and prosperity and progress will follow!
